EmmDee57 claimed victory in The Open Competition thanks to Ernie Els, Tiger Woods and Graeme McDowell to win by two shots from incontientia with bluestonevedder a further two shots back in third. AlciG, who was joint leader overnight suffered badly with Adam Scott and Jason Dufner and dropped 12 shots to finish 6th.

Alsie and Bobby4320, who won The Masters and US Open competition's respectively, finished in a respectably joint 4th.

It's less fruitful, but far more interesting to pick unusual or unheralded players like Olesen than Woods, Donald etc. It would be a much more interesting competition if we were only allowed to pick players outwith the top 20 of the OWGR
