The Open Competition - Final Leaderboard

After four days of golf at Muirfield we have a five way tie at the top of the leaderboard. Adam Scott's birdie on the 18th saw Aruglia, John Cregan and golfermartin join mystiroakey and 4putt on one under for the tournament. That meant a five way playoff based on their other picks.

Of the fourth selections Aruglia, JohnCregan and Mystiroakey had Woods on 286 while golfermartin had Bubba Watson on 293 and 4putt had Branden Grace on 297. That saw three go on to their fifth choice.

Of the fifth selections Aruglia had McDowell on 296, JohnCregan had Fowler who didn't make the cut and mystiroakey had Donald who also failed to make the cut.

Therefore after four days and two 'playoff rouns' Aruglia comes out on top in The Open Competition

I am the mcilroy of the sportsville comp. Although I don't have the wins he has. So just plain bad from me.

When I got in the car after work and heard them saying that Mickelson was almost certain to win now, I thought I might have a chance, but unfortunately too many had picked Phil.

Top 34 is an achievement in such illustrious company.

I just seem to be a little unconscious when I'm doing my picks, it's nothing to do with my new sponsorship deal, clubs and balls or the disruption with my management team. I'll have a week off and try and figure it out on the range. Hopefully I'll be back for the PGA...
