Isn't he a left winger predominately?

Fabio Quagliarella might be available if you're after a good RW, was considering putting him up for lawyers but i'd rather trade him. Looking for a CB as i'm a little light there.

Left footed and does play LW, but last season or two he was mainly a striker for Kiev and a RW for Ukraine.

I would afford him the same rating in all three positions to be honest.

I think it is a really clever signing by Olly, as the rumours linking him to AC are really strong

I see him as a RF, similarly Hulk who is ahead of him in my team is a RF rather than a RW.

Tactics for Quag would be easy I guess. SHoot from anywhere.

Looks like he could be going to Inter in a swap for Pazzini

Don't Inter already have Rodrigo Palacio?

I'd have said Palacio and Quagliarella are both Right Forwards.

Sorry but Essien is finished. Before he got injured he was brilliant a box to box beast who'd own Toure.

Ramirez > Mikel > Essien

I can't see him making the Chelsea side. Off to eat laters.

I might be putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5.

I saw that Pazzini was left out of their European squad and remembered that the swap deal had been reported a week or so ago.

I guess Rodrigo Palacio can play across the frontline, whilst Quag can play as main striker instead of Milito.

Rodrigo....Sneijder...Alvarez

I think Essien is just badly out of form. He just needs confidence, backing and faith and he'll be back.

I think it is too early to say Essien is finished.

I would at least give his the benefit of a preseason and start to the new season before judging him as finished.

If he does get back to his best he would own Yaya.

I looked at him earlier, but at the moment I have too many left footed, left sided players. I need a bit more balance

He's a wait and see player. As you said before, he could be an absolute steal if getting back to his best. It was always a risk at £22m though

Ramires doesn't play the same position, and there is not a chance in hell Mikel > Essien. If I didn't know any better I'd say you were wumming.

He needs to hit the ground running but to say he's finished age 29 is crazy.

They have written Wilshere off at 20. Essien at 29 is well past it.

I would say that both Essien and Ramires best positions are similar (i.e. box to box). Mikel is a DM only, but Essien was everywhere before his injury.

If he finds his form, Schweinsteiger could become available at AC?

£31m for him though is a big punt. A star player bid on a striker who is widely ridiculed these days for not scoring. Poor Torres, Benitez has ruined him

Top scorer at the Euros and with Hazard, Oscar, Mata and Marin setting him up it could really revitalise him this season.

To be honest no, if Essien gets back to form and I have Essien, Schweinsteiger and Khedira, I wouldn't sell any of them as in this game injuries can really make a difference.

I'm the same Marky with CBs with Chiellini, Vidic and Hummels, I get one of them injured most weeks so it's daft to let one go.

Torres has definitely improved since Di Matteo took over, and the Euro's will have done him the world of good. A punt but if he was on his best form he wouldn't even be mentioned in this league as he'd be above the likes of RVP, Aguero and Rooney.

Torres from early Liverpool days would be an awesome signing. I agree with Marky that he would be above those 3 in value, so above the limit anyway.

But he is fast running out of chances. It has been 2 and a half years now since we have consistently seen that Torres.

And that is why it is a risk using your only star player bid to sign him at the moment.

It just seems anything to do with Man City/Chelsea players is criticised while anything to do with Man United players isn't.

Terry and Essien would be my first picks.

I would also possibly look at Oscar, while he might be good in the future right now I would prefer someone like Dzogaev or Muller in the side who have already shown they can do stuff. Same reason why I'm not that much of a fan of Lucas etc.

I'd play Luiz instead of Cahill. Also I'd probably try and bring in Higuain instead of Torres censored

I dunno either TSJ.

I think I have done pretty well out of my deals as well. I have kept my solid backline, gained some great creative guys and with end of season lawyers I could sell Adebayor and get the cash to get a star player. Not too bad if you ask me

Olly, I'd advise you to keep Adebayor, take the money for being relegated + End of Season Lawyer your Norwich contingent, you'll have plenty of money to spend and your squad will improve as your Norwich bias is costing you.

You can't argue they are good enough players, if they were they wouldn't still be at Norwich Whistle

Secondly, does that mean you are looking to upgrade the Norwich players for Swansea, West Brom and Fulham players?

Of course you can do what you like Olly, but my opinion is that your Norwich players aren't as good as the rest of your squad, and considering you're at your squad limit i'd bin them and make space for improvements, rather than selling Adebayor who frankly is better than Holt.

Secondly, does that mean you are looking to upgrade the Norwich players for Swansea, West Brom and Fulham players?

Yes we did finish 12th. Wow I feel bad now picard

I'm just saying that Grant Holt, has gotten plenty of goal votes on here, and I don't play him anymore.

Pilkington will probably go, but Holt and Ruddy are decent enough backups at the moment

I'd say that in these type of games that a striker is actually quite similar in respects to a keeper.
As long as you don't have a real stinker then whover they are will get goals as they're the guy in front of the goal. The only real difference is that a top quality striker can get you the x2 goals whilst a top quality keeper doesn't really make a huge difference.

I think the goals allocated to strikers is a bit misleading. I'm not sure that much thought is given to who to allocate the goals to, so if you win 2-1, there is a good chance that whatever striker you are playing will be given at least 1 goal
