Should Phillips Idowu be allowed to take part?
Phillips Idowu is "disappointed" after the British Olympic Association made public a request to see his medical records.
Why would they do this unless they suspect the guy is more injured than he is letting on, if he is injured then IMO he should be taking part, give someone else the chance.
Just because you are from London doesn't mean you should be gifted an Olympic spot?
Sorry Phillips but maybe you should let go of your dream.

If he is fit then he should definitely take part. He remains a medal prospect.

There isn't anyone else with the qualifying distance. He's not taking anyone's place on the team, injured or not.

He is one of your Olympic gold medal chances, he may be acting like a tool but why the heck would you not want him? He qualified and deserves to take part.

I think he's scared CVC will declare him unfit so he's hiding away hoping he will get better in time.

I'd give the guy a break disappointed with a silver last time four years of toil and sweat then injured last thing it's bound to do things with your head . I think this personality clash thing he's got going on may just be a way of distracting himself .As said he's not taking anyone elses place.
