I would give my reasoning but where is the reasoning why you dislike him?

Re: The Rock
I don't know, I'm in between atm.
I love The Rock but since he's been back I actually want him to leave. I think he's out grown the business, and the business has moved on from him.
I'd rather Rhodes/Ziggler be given the push ahead of Rock coming back but the money possibilities from having The Rock back is too good to refuse. Plus, if Rock does take the championship, he will have to wrestle full time whilst he's champ, simple as.

Re: The Rock
I like him. I think he had a bit of a wobble during the build up to his match with Cena where he looked like he was struggling but I would say he is almost back to his normal ways now. Still got it both in ring and on the mic.

.........and I would like him more if he hadn't sold out to twitter and seemingly obsessed with world trending and trying to get the most obscure chant going.

Re: The Rock
Would like to see him come up with some new material rather than relying on getting the catchphrases trending. I've been slightly underwhelmed with his return, but did enjoy him going over Cena at Wrestlemania which genuinely surprised me. Thought he was excellent on Monday too, seeing him getting pumped up at the end and then the sell to CM Punk was vintage Rock really.

Re: The Rock
i agree, the twitter thing has to stop. that's not the rock, that's dwayne johnson. He needs to return to being the character of 'The rock' if you catch my drift.

Re: The Rock
I agree lose the twitter references and stupid chants. Aside from that he's been good. Definitely much better last Monday.

Still like him, although I agree that the Twitter shoite has to stop. Loved his selling of the clothesline and the GTS on Monday, THAT'S how you sell moves. Hope he gets himself in decent shape for the Rumble match and doesn't get gassed because CM Punk versus the Rock (if it happens of course!) could be an absolute classic.

Re: The Rock
his selling of the gts was great, looked like he got a knee to the head and fell down as if he was genuinely knocked out, and obviously the clothesline.
There's doubting he still has it in the ring, he's kept himself in unbelievable shape, looks even better now.

Re: The Rock
Punk and the Rock on the mic against each other would be golden as well. Hopefully they'd be allowed to go to town with their promos and not have to hold anything back so as not to make anyone look 'weak'.

Re: The Rock
I was never the biggest fan of his back in his heyday but I could not deny that he was absolute gold.
I could deal with the Cena match at WM as it was a "dream" match but I cannot comprehend him going after the WWE title and being gifted a match at the Rumble.
I very much doubt that if he wins the strap he will stick around for a solid 2 months leading up to WM. If the reason for him is to drop the title to CM Punk or someone else that needs it, then fair enough but we know who it will go to.
The Rock has his day and should not be given the title to drop to Cena.

Re: The Rock
You can't really blame him for rubbish chants. Surely it's the crowd who pick up on the slightest thing and make it into a chant. He was using simlarly childish jibes back in "the good old days" and the crowd didn't chant every single one back to him.
I was getting tired of him during the Cena feud but reckon with Punk it will be a good few months til the Rumble.

Re: The Rock
As a kid I loved the Rock.
And I hate Cena's wrestling character (but huge respect for the real life Cena with all his make-a-wishes)
Yet at Wrestlemania I was hoping that Cena would beat Dwayne. I hate the thought that Dwayne returns for a fight or two a year, maybe half a dozen appearances on Raw to promote the matches and expects to be handed the championship.
And then there was him ruining last years Wrestlemania. Sheamus V Bryan got shafted so that Dwayne could have longer on his promos, then he had to be the centre of attention for the main event. It was the perfect chance for the 'E to establish the Miz as a genuine main eventer but instead they made him look weak as they pandered to the Dwayne Johnson show.
If Punk has to job to him at the royal rumble i will be really, really, really annoyed

Re: The Rock
Punk will lose to The Rock, it's obvious
But it won't be all for The Rock's benefit. He owes Cena a win back, and that win will be for the WWE belt on the grandest stage of them all.

Re: The Rock
I loved the Rock back in the attitude era. But since he's returned, he's been kind of stale.
I really don't like his 3rd person promos and the way he sold CM Punk taking him out was poor. It was like he was having a fit of some sort.

Thats not eaxactly a new trait though, his sell of a stunner was comical back in the day
as for the original question I actually still like him. WWE is a better program to watch when he is involved. The night when he went on the tour of Phillie heading into Mania was comedic gold and he verbally tortured Bryan on Monday night like nobody else in WWE can.

I thought he sold the stunner great back in the day, the worse one he ever sold (not his fault to be honest) was in a rumble match beacuse he stood back up ready to clotheslined over the top rope

Yeah that seemed to be a prerequisite back in the day, if I remember rightly Triple H and the Big Bossman did the same thing in the 99 Rumble. Looked awful.
