Putting it in Perspective
Who will be the first nationality of fans to use the phrase "That puts the summer tours into perspective" following a Rugby Championship game?

Re: Putting it in Perspective
Good point, there could be a couple of moral victories up for grabs here, not to be sniffed at

Re: Putting it in Perspective
For example the first team to lose to SA will be worst than ENG.
If Australia beat any team by more than 3 points, that team will be behind Wales morally.
If any team lose by a lot of points to NZ in NZ then it will put that 60-0 into perspective.
But which will happen first? And who will be bravest to say it?

Re: Putting it in Perspective
Well it would have to be in retrospect to put the Summer tours in perspective, or is it introspection that would be required in retrospect to put it in perspective with personal perceptions clouding the perspectvie?

Yes Bilton, In retrospect I regret my invective that projected the circumspection.

Re: Putting it in Perspective
They won't be thinking of this crap because the SH teams aren't paranoid of what the NH hemisphere thinks of them.

Perfect English! Now we know you can do it I suppose the question is why? Is the joke over now? Tbh I don't feel comfortable with this kind of humour. Still it's all over now sorry if I missed the denouement on another threadanotherworldofpain wrote:For example the first team to lose to SA will be worst than ENG.

And what happens if the Argies come out on top, do Scotland take a moral victory over everyone down under?

Re: Putting it in Perspective
If one team stands behind another, then we will have to look at that team in perspective, otherwise they will all just appear to be smaller!
