1m seems excessive, as does injury really. People aren't required to vote

People aren't required to vote, but you need them to vote to get proper results.
Offering a say 500K incentive, means more people will vote more regularly IMO

That twas my suggestion.
Minor enough so it doesn't skew the game, but an incentive all the same.

Right lets all have a vote on this then.
If you are in favour of bringing in a 500K incentive/reward for doing predos say Yes. If not say No.
I say Yes

Re: Admin section
Alright, just wondering if there's anyone who could take over this week's Foreign Offers and possibly take the job full time?
I'm finding my time online is reduced due to a heavy workload, busy private life and moving house in 2 weeks to add to the Flip!

Click on Nick's profile and look through his posts. CF has alerted a moderator, but over exaggerated what was said, and been told its not that bad

Right my thoughts on the foreigns so far:
Falcao - Yes
Di Maria - No. Don't think Madrid would let him go at all.
Izaguirre - Yes
Bridge - Yes, dunno why he is signing him
Boyata - No, City would want some cash for him

Whilst I would agree Falcao wants to stay at Madrid, I would say that due to the debt Madrid are in then they would push for a sale.

Cheers GSC, forgot about that lol.
I agree with Hero, Falcao may want to stay, but Madrid need the money, and he would be all but flown to Spurs for that fee

Oh and in regards to CL football, not blowing my own trumpet but it's looking a 2 horse race for the title as it stands, we're coming up to halfway through the league so it'll take a huge shock to now not be in the CL places come end of the season.

Does the mean we can buy who we want from Real Madrid/Barcelona since their in more debt?
Also didn't they previously slap a 50m price tag on him as well...

Re: Admin section
Well are Utd not in huge debt? It doesn't affect them that much, like it does say a team like Athletico. They can still afford to hold onto there players, and sign new one, like Song and RVP

He can have him if we're going by this rubbish then but he should made to pay the 50m Chelsea were quoted they wouldn't sell him for 4m profit even in that kind of debt

Atletico are a selling club as they have lived beyond their means for too long and now the banks in Spain are no longer able to bankroll them they are struggling, there's no denying that point.
Barca/Real whilst in debt generate far more income through global sales, CL success and TV rights so it is a manageable debt.

Re: Admin section
In regards to Atletico only making a 4m profit, that also isn't true:
So why exactly would Atletico be willing to sell their star striker after less than a year? The answer lies in their huge debt problem. The Madrid side saw the entirety of the transfer fee received from Kun Aguero's move to City go straight to the Spanish tax-authorities last summer, and even after that they still owe around 250 million Euros. The severity of their debt explains the complexity of Falcao's transfer from Porto. Falcao cost Atleti 40 million Euros in theory, but in reality they are estimated to have paid only half of that. The rest was covered by a third-party investment fund, the majority of which was made up by Falcao's representative, 'super agent' Jorge Mendes. Should a major club move in with a big offer for Falcao this summer, Atletico's debt problem combined with the desire of Mendes to continue to make money out of his investment could see the Madrid side bidding farewell to their MVP.

Re: Admin section
He doesn't want to leave, that isn't in doubt and we have already gone over that.
The matter is that Atletico are riddled in debt and sell their best players. Aguero last summer for £35m initially even though the papers were quoting fees as ridiculous as £90m, notice a theme here between the price papers quote and what they actually then go for?

I wasn't trying to cheapskate it though, I was putting forward the bid that he actually got sold for! Where I published links to say the offer was £15m and that the buying club held the cards due to the selling clubs prediciment.
