A Thought for Summerslam...
Even after the "end" of the Daniel Bryan / AJ storyline at Raw #1000 it seems as though the WWE are continuing to push him. As such it would be likely that he is going to have a fairly high profile match at Summerslam.
In line with this who do you think he opponent will be? Given his feud with Charlie Sheen there is the possibility that he will face Sheen though I hope not as it would be awful. Instead it could be that Bryan faces a wrestler allied to Sheen, given his appearance with Bryan at Raw #1000 it could be Kane but I would like to see the Rock take this role.
He has had a segment with Bryan so it wouldn't be entirely left field, he is in good shape, the event is one of the big ones and will be in LA and there is an obvious Hollywood connection between Rock and Sheen.
This would also be the best way to give DB a really prominent position as he would be part of a triple main event with HHH/Lesnar and Cena/Punk/Show. The rub for DB would be great even in defeat and it would also help Rock in terms of giving him "something" in between now and the Royal Rumble.
The worry would be that Rock would almost be "too big" for DB or that it would bury him like Miz/Truth at Survivor Series. Yet I would say that this was about the booking of the match as opposed to the participants. The WWE would be able to book them as "nearly" equals, give the crowd a great face/heel match, the Rock a match against a great in-ring pro and DB a great push towards cementing a top level spot.

I do like the sound of that but i really cant see it happening.
I wouldnt mind seeing him do somthing big after summer slam though. A thought is that during the Lesnar and HHH match which should be main event either Bryan or Punk screws HHH and sets up a fraction with Heyman and Lesnar. Punk i suppose would be better, makes more sense going back to his promo last year.

Punk/Heyman works well though I wouldn't want him anywhere near Lesnar because a) it would make him seem like the No. 2 guy (when he should be positioned as the No. 1 in whatever feud he is in) and b) it wouldn't make logical sense for him to be bashing part time guys like Rock and then siding with Lesnar. I know in the 'E logic and heels isn't required but I would at least like to see some consistency.
Plus, I am not sure whether they want Punk to be positioned as a fully fledged heel yet. It seems to be that he is a tweener at the moment and while I expect him to get a cheap win at Summerslam and then had Cena chase him for the title for a few months I am not sure when or if the full heel turn will come.

Difference between Rock and Brock though is that Rock is getting a title shot whilst Brock can just be seen as an ass kicker who fights people worth fighting without titles being involved.
