Re: The Last Poster is the Loser
It has been quiet, time of year I guess, I've dropped in a few times using my phone but it's not that user friendly.
Things are good thanks, got back home on Friday afternoon after going to Sheffield on Boxing Day. Struggling to comprehend that I'm back to work on the 2nd but still, 2 days to go before that happens

That sick feeling isn't it. Like being robbed of some free time when everyone else seems to still be in holiday mode.
In Oz, January is basically a write off for most businesses with the Australia Day holiday on the 26th and all that.

I'm dreading having to be up at 6.00 am when I go back to work, haven't had to do that since 21st December. It's going to be painful

I've been getting up so early... like 5:30am, then flaking out in the late afternoons, then staying up until the wee hours.
Dangerous living hey?

Oh I wish I was more of a mornings person but I'm just not. Night owl is my default setting. I'm better in the summer though, these dark mornings are not conducive to me getting my butt out of bed!

Re: The Last Poster is the Loser
That's me too. I closed my east facing blinds in the bedroom (about 3/4 of the way down) otherwise I would get sunburned from about 5:45am onwards in the summer!
It's the second window (on the north-east) and the raucous birdlife that does the rest. I truly understand the meaning of phrase "the early bird catches the worm" - they sure let me know what they are doing.

There's nothing weird about that at all.
Have the in-laws left yet... and is your favourite chair and remote back under your control now mate?

yeah, we men can suffer a lot too. I had a pretty painful kidney stone experience. Excruciating pain!
It's a bit of a scare when something like that hits you. I hope he's fine now too.

It sure keeps us on our toes doesn't it?
I had this really itchy belly button of all things. It came out of nowhere but I think I picked it up in the sea? I used all these different things on it and it just got more irritated. Eventually, calomine lotion did the trick and it's gone away now.

Main thing is to look after yourself and not worry. Keep the legs pumping.

Re: The Last Poster is the Loser
They've been getting huge crowds for the football - Western Sydney Wanderers (red & black like Flamengo) ... a real cult following of Shinji Ono at Parra stadium. Amazing atmosphere at most games with the stands and terraces packed.
The Eels need to do the same. Win games and get the crowds back. I think they are heading in the right direction. They just need to get off to a good start and be there or thereabouts when it counts towards the end of the rounds.

Been watching the tests but I can't really get into the big bash. So disappointing for both Sydney teams.

I agree , they get so much tunnel vision on the big shot rather then playing shots around the field

That will never be admitted. I just dont like that players can now seemingly hold their countries at ransome for the money. Sad days.
