Not sure about the Djoko/Murray outcome. Depends on Murrays knees and Djokovic' energy levels after going straight from olympics to Rogers Cup.

I'm the only one so far who thinks that Murray will make it past Del Potro. You may be right but I am ever optimistic

I had much rather see Murray rest than strain his knees, right before USO.

Murray has a 5-1 h2h with Delpo. Very dominant.
If his knee is ok - which I'm pretty sure it is - then I think he'll go close to winning Cincinatti. Its pretty tough to call between the top 3.

Judging by the cakey goodness of Roger's draw I will take Roger, Novak again has to have the death match in the semi, why am I not surprised. Also the heat, humidity, and the surface have never been Novak's most favored out door hardcourt. Very quick courts and very humid conditions.

The trumpeting of DP continues. Mind you I assume that one day all the wrong predictions of his prowess will come true

It all really depends on the Murray knee. If it is just the change of surface aggravating his bipartate patella then chances are a few days rest and a few days practise will sort it and he will give DP the runaround. If he is not 100% it could be a different story.

But if he's not 100% - I don't expect him to either take part or last until the QF

Not sure about the Djoko/Murray outcome. Depends on Murrays knees and Djokovic' energy levels after going straight from olympics to Rogers Cup.
Making my debut

Just like how it did for Muirray in Olympics , mind you the wrong prediction of DP has atleast come right once in a GS but never for Murray

@ Carriage , DP can still win Murray if Murray is 100% fit, its not like DP has no chance against 100% Murray, a 100% DP's A game can blow any one out of court.

Cinncy like Toronto will be an iron man contest. Look how overcooked Tsonga and Berdych was. Djokovic had plenty in the reserves to win comfortable in the end despite some resistance in his match with Haas.
Looking at the week ahead on quick courts, Del Potro would've had time for a little rest and he will be looking to do well. He has the draw there. Some big names, but for me not enough to take out an on song Del Potro.
Take into account Murray pulled out citing a niggle on his knee. Now we don't know how servere it is, but if we go on what we have seen it isn't so far fetched that Del Potro can put himself amongst the elite. Federer will be refreshed, Djokovic will have greater confidence. If Murray pulls out before or during Cinncy, it won't bode well at all for his chances at the US Open.
