606v2 Boxing - Best Forum I've seen
Hi guys,
This is just a thread to discuss and rate the new forum which we have been given after the Broken Biscuit Company decided that they couldn't afford to run a simple internet forum.
I for one love the way 606v2 has brought all the regulars across bar a few fools who haven't grasped it with both hands.
The setup is great with decent mods and great Administrators who keep things on an even keel make this one of the best boxing forums that I have been on.
I just thought I would throw this into the mix as I don't really post to often but read the threads and updates everyday.
The banter is still here and far better than the old 606, so long may it continue!

I feel exactly the same, Dee.
The mix of banter and boxing discussion, ( new and old, ) is perfect, in my opinion. We have the best of the old ' Broken Biscuit Company ' without the idiotic WUMs gatecrashing from other sections.
Long may it continue.

Big time mate,
Went onto it on Tuesday there and the 1st thread I seen was some clown calling everyone a racist because they didn't like Amir Khan.
I have seen a few people from here going over the odd time to mention 606v2 again, I would say please, please be careful when mentioning this site as it would be terrible to have some of them wasters on here.
Re: 606v2 Boxing - Best Forum I've seen
Most of them are jokers from the football forum who have heard of about 5 boxers at most.
Thankfully, they have not migrated over here.

Weird without those oddballs who give your article a one-star rating within seconds of it being posted.Who were they and what we they about? My guess is that they were Gollum like creatures who were too poor to bid on Ebay but still wanted the buzz

It was weird wasn't it, never failed to get a one star, even if you were just giving a bit of info etc

We actively (or is that inactively) didnt pursue the football fans at launch, as a few of the other offspring were competing for them and it made little sense. We also knew that a lot of the WUMs on 606 were football fans who came on to other boards to cause trouble. Another reason why this place has seen very little WUM activity.
I would personally like to get better footie discussions going but I feel that this needs to grow organically. I am also sure that some will join at the end of May when 606 shuts down.
If you are a fan of a certain club though and know people on 606, please feel free to promote us.

You're very lucky as a site that the Boxing fraternity adopted you or you'd be like a tumbleweed in the desert...
It is a good site though even if Oxring is on it.

Years of the guy coming onto my threads making pedantic criticisms and then hitting and running windy...
He offends my manhood. It's just not Bostonian cricket.

we are grateful for all the societies joining us (tennis, golf and wrestling too).
I am hoping the rugby guys will be the next lot.
And I wouldnt say it was luck, more along the lines of persistent charming that got you guys over.

Wasn't 100% taken by v2 at first, but I think that was just lack of familiarity. Cracking job, Gromit.

I don't know...laughing at jokes aimed at the poor in Society maybe amusing to some..
But I like to think I was brought up with class.....
Americans don't find that kind of humor funny..
Standards and all you know.

Look I apologise...I don't find jokes about the poor, rape victims, alcohics and any other people struggling in or with life..
Breaks my heart....
Called being a compassionate human being and a Liberal...
Whilst studying for my degree.. did voluntary work with drug and alcoholic dependants and saw the pain and devastation they did both to their own lives and family members..
One should never joke about those people less fortunate.....
Grace and class always.

I've drunk heavily for the past 5 - 10 years. Still do most days and could not tell you the last day I didn't have a drink. It's probably still a choice for me even though it has had a negative impact on various aspects of my life. As in 99% of cases it is self inflicted and in my opinion not worthy of pity.

I drink like an animal, no one pity's me.
I sometimes write my best material whilst being absolutely blotto.
Stop taking the high ground Trussman, you called everyone buttlickers.
Good job I'm liberal otherwise I'd have sunk you like the bismark.
Peace Out.
