Raw returns from break as they show what happened last week involving HBK/HHH/Lesnar/Heyman.
Contract Signing
Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman make their way out to the ring; Heyman has the microphone and mentions that HHH has had flight delays. Paul says HHH wants this match, needs this match calling this match the most personal fight of HHH’s life. Paul says people don’t agree with his opinion and says that the HBK didn’t agree with his opinion and asks Lesnar if HBK is in the arena and Lesnar says yes he is. Paul says HBK will not come out to face Brock because he is afraid of him. HBK’s music hits and out comes the Hall of Famer which is what Heyman and Lesnar wanted. Shawn is in the ring and grabs the mic as Paul says HBK can sign the contract for HHH. HHH’s music hits and out comes HHH removing his tie and jacket. Triple H is in the ring face to face with Lesnar, HHH signs the contract with his eyes on Lesnar. Paul tells Lesnar it’s just a contract signing and to not do anything. Lesnar signs the contract and throws it at HHH and then leaves the ring. HHH and HBK watch as Lesnar and Heyman leave.

Cole and Lawler talk about the Triple threat match at Summerslam and what happened earlier in the tag match. Striker approaches Show and asks what his plans are for Summerslam. There is a commotion as HBK leaves in his car as Paul heyman's car blocks him allowing Brock to attack HBK.
Commercial Break
Raw returns from break as they show the attack on HBK by Brock Lesnar and they show HBK’s car windshield busted in and everyone around his car asking where HBK is. HHH is asking everyone where Shawn is as it appears HBK was taken. Brock is shown carrying HBK on his shoulders with Heyman laughing as he looks on. Brock rolls HBK in the ring, HBK tries to get up and is given an F5 by Brock Lesnar. Heyman and Lesnar look on as Lesnar puts the Kimora lock on HBK. HHH rushes to the ring but is stopped by Heyman saying if doesn’t stop HBK’s arm will be broken. Lesnar breaks HBK’s arm as HHH rushes in the ring Lesnar and Heyman leave. Heyman looks worried as Lesnar looks back with a smile. The medics are trying to help HBK as he doesn’t want anyone to touch him. Lesnar and Heyman try to come back but decide not to go as HHH begs them to come to the ring.
End Show

Re: Raw Results
Thought it wasn't a bad RAW but it should have been what happened a few weeks ago. This sort of build up is too little too late. Wondering if Sakamoto will end up taking on Tensai and they will use Albertsai to simply put him over in the end.
Some parts seemed a bit last minute like getting Daniel Bryan involved and Miz also getting involved in Ziggler & Jericho. Really liked what Piper had to say to Jericho - the crowd all used to boo me too until one day when they just started cheering like is happening to you.
Why on earth didn't Kofi get involved when Prime Time beat down R Truth?

The only thing I'm liking at the minute is them bringing back the Y2J persona, I actually want to watch Jericho again. Considering this was the go home show. It wasn't great.

like ST, love what they are doing with Y2J. This raw was ok, good in places but bad in some, bigger reaction for HBK in Dallas than in his hometown of SA

Also had to laugh at the Kobe Bryant chants when The Primetime Playas beat down on Truth.

Re: Raw Results
the crowd are really loving the return of y2j, so am i tbh. was thinking last week despite the fact i liked his old heel run, he simply cant beat being y2j! even the heel y2j is quality
the rest, boring as usual. not sure about hbk being scared of brock, since when has hbk ever been scared of someone, didnt he used to play mind games with undertaker??? cena made me laugh, but nothing new there.. he almost gets rolled up by bryan and within the space of 1.7 seconds he manages to get up, aa him and pin him 1, 2, 3. punk looked funny doing cena, cena looked awkward being punk. just f*ck off cena, seriously. wheres slater? did i miss that? still no cody. monster tensai losing every week to little mexican fellas. do like rybacks new theme, maybe its the sign of the start of a run somewhere. probably straight to FE though.

Re: Raw Results
anyone see those three guys in black t-shirts in the front row, closest to the camera. They were absolutely hilarious! when Big Show was up against Punk and walked towards them, they did what he does when he's getting ready for a WMD, where he clenches his fist and screams, and they did what he does when he's getting ready for a chokeslam. Seriously anyone who hasn't seen them watch the opening match.

Thing is Punk actaully did his move perfect. Cena's running kick was embarrassing! he just sort of ran up and fell into him haha, then the less said about the running bulldog the better

Just wondering if the big summer story hasn't happened yet and CM Punk is gonna do something big at Summerslam to take all the attention off Cena. Would be too much of an IWC mark to suggest Dean Ambrose appearing wouldn't I?

Also, loved Bryan just shouting at Show throughout, it was great and fp Show played the part perfectly, just completely confused by him throughout. Bryan shouting no! to Show when he wanted the tag, then Show shouting Yes! and then back and forth they went, comedy gold, and when Bryan was shouting at him to get out of the ring, priceless!

Re: Raw Results
Not a bad go home show. Some good moments. I enjoyed the Miz, Y2J, Ziggler triple threat.
I am more and more impressed with Ziggler everytime I see him & if they do it right I do think Miz & Ziggler can be up their as part of the future of WWE going forward.
Will be interesting to see who picks up the win at Summerslam. Obviously Jericho is back off on tour so all things point to a Ziggler victory...however I could imagine the E' giving Jericho a win as kind of a last hurrah before he disappears again. (I think he deserves it given he has put everyone over since he has returned) and I don't think it would hurt Ziggler.
As people have mentioned the Punk '5 moves of doom' part was hilarious...but seriously, why even allow Cena to do the same!? It just looked awful...and if you are going to allow him to do it then at least have Punk mock him for doing it so bad. That way at least your putting something into it.
As for the Brock-HBK-HHH segment...is it just me or did everyone want to see the actually attack. I know we are never going to go back to the whole attitude era but I do really hope Linda loses her electoral bid because I think in feuds like this it hurts the angle not seeing some carnage!!
The problem for me however was the fact they did it the week before Summerslam means all fingers point to a HHH victory. If they do that then Brock momentum is absolutely killed and you might as chuck his contract in the bin.....
UNLESS....you give Triple H the win and then get Brock on the mic and say something like 'I told you I wasn't here for the win'...he drops the mic and then absolutely demolishes HHH...ending the show stood tall over him..! Maybe even a tiny bit of blood which he can smear on himself aka like his Undertaker match!! yehhhh manly!!
(Pipe dream I know but we can all live in hope that it isn't going to end with either a Pedigree out of nowhere or HBK coming out and Sweet Chin Music which kicks Brock straight into the Pedigree for the win!

Re: Raw Results
I just don't get where the HHH and Brock story is going if Brock or HHH wins does it mean anything? I thought Brock had left WWE and HHH said no you can't come back. So if Brock wins can he leave cos why would he stay?

think he will be wearing the same stuff as when he faced cena maybe with different colours or something. think he is trying to come off as more of an mma type of guy instead of being a typical wwe wrestler. e.g the hold he had hbk in instead of just doing an f5 like the old brock would have done.

Re: Raw Results
He will be wearing street gear...since that is his whole persona now. He isn't a Wrestler....he is an 'ass kicking machine' who is back to make the WWE legit!! ...well I mean he lost to John Cena 'The Entertainer' & will no doubt come up short against the part time Wrassler/CEO/Family Man..(anyone actually know what he is?) HHH but thats neither here or their
And Zoot the whole point of the story was that Brock was back but because he is a huge star, legit fighter he wanted to be the face of the WWE and wanted certain demands met....Triple H refused to give into those demands which is where this all started...i.e. two law suits being filed...one was breach of contract on HHH part & the other was for putting his hands on Mr Heyman (who was absolute GOLD last night by the way)!

Re: Raw Results
I kind of get that Owen but it just doesn't link into where they got to now after Heyman snapped and said yes to the match. Heyman was Gold last night and buy that I mean the colour of his sun tan.

Re: Raw Results
I acctually enjoyed Raw this week
The John Cena and CM Punk bit was done very well after the tag team match. The only thing i diddnt understand was why Daniel Bryan was there?
The Jericho Dolph and Miz match was a class match. I have high hopes for the Jericho Ziggler match this sunday.
As for the HHH and Lesnar segments. I thought they were class. A very good ending which we havant had in a long time. This match should be very good and is starting to make WWE intresting again.

Re: Raw Results
Raw was hit and miss, some good parts and some very ordinary sections. Really liked the triple threat match and I think Ziggler is the future of the company, even if the Y2J revival is welcome.
Was Kane on the same tour as Kofi?.Otherwise I can't understand why Bryan was involved with the main event three, really didn't flow and was fairly boring tag team match in my opinion. Ending was intriguing, the interaction between Punk and Cena was hard to gauge.Punk's statement after the match of "teaching respect" seemed to indicate a big moment, but that just might be wishful thinking.
Like the continued build of Sandow and Ryback, that should be something that is continued over weeks and months. Maybe time to give Ryback a starting feud though to bring his character into development a little more.
Divas was dreadful and Sin Cara/Tensai was unecessary, there are a lot of superstars on the roster who I would prefer to watch who never get air time.
Finishing scene with Hunter, Brock and Shawn was done very well I thought. The beating was always coming but the black out worked for great drama in my opinion. I did hope that Shawn would be bleeding when Brock brought him to the ring but that was once again wishful thinking in the current climate. Really looking forward to that match, but that will all turn sour if HHH wins because I don't see booking logic from that.
And finally, please can we get rid of AJ already, the whole "unhinged" thing is becoming tedious.

Watched this, the Brock/HHH rivalry is interesting, if I didn't know any better I'd think they where somehow setting up a WrestleMania match between Brock and Shawn, doubt his mind has changed about retirement but the way the story went it looked like it was setting it up for Michaels to finally stand up and face his fears

Re: Raw Results
This is the first time in ages I've decided to read up in case its not worth sitting through (thanks to the show being 3 hours now!).
I'm a little confused if I've made the right decision to be honest. From reading the results I can't really gauge what is happening with the CM Punk heel or not so heel turn.
Kind of want to see the whole Y2J, Ziggler, Miz thing, is it THAT good?
Also everyone says the Brock segment was good but from reading the results it sounds a bit meh.

Re: Raw Results
For me CM Punk is a heel but they're finally booking someone as a heel with a legitimate gripe, I think we'll see that his reasoning and logic is sound but the way he'll go about 'fixing things' will be wrong
Bit like his Straght Edge gimmick in 09/10, his logic for being straight edge was sound but the way he forced his opinions on others what was made him heel
