Gloucester managed the coup of the century to prize away the greatest player to even don a rugby shirt with the promise of a guaranteed starting spot at 12, regardless of form, injury or whether there was even a game, he'd be playing. They did all this on top of a contract of £3,000,000 a year. I am of course talking of Billy "36" Twelvetrees.

But as part of a team bonding exercise the hair clippers have come out and Billy's flowing locks have disappeared. Have we just scalped our Samson?

P.S. Look where he's starting tomorrow Run

Funny. Noel Reid (The guy in that photo facing 36) Has also moved from 12 to 10 this week for Leinster.

Having followed most of the Gloucester boys on twitter, it would seem that most if not all of them shaved their head during a pre-season trip to the French alps.

Hilarious that he's starting at 10. He'll remain there all season.
