Zdenek Siroky - Worst Record Today?
Whilst researching (looking up on boxing recs) young Cleverly's next opponent, I saw that Simic had fought a chap called Zdenic Siroky just six fights ago. Siroky has a truely staggering record of 21 straight loses, 17 ko's and no wins or draws. Mind you, he does fight four or five times a year! Let's not turn this one into a Cleverly bashing thread as we have more than enough opportunities to do that over the next few months. Does anyone know of another person with such a poor record, but an obvious desire to get into the ring on a regular basis?

Siroky is just a pretender, a mere footnote in this history of epic losing. Couldn't carry Eric Crumble's jockstrap.
If anyone is yet to see Mr. Cumble's record, then I suggest you check it out. Consistency should have been his middle name.
Not sure if there's anyone currently active who can match that 0-21 (17) record, though.

Haha poor old Crumble. That no contest was the highlight of his career!

Alexandru Manea fought as recently as 2011. He has a staggering record of 0-53(17)

I wonder with guys like Crumble and Manea if they were paid to dive in order to inflate up and comer's CVs.
Crumble (without looking) has been pretty much KO'd everytime so either that guy dives, has a head made from bricks or is seriously brain damaged by now.

With Manea, there is a certain amount of durability; punch bag that will occasionally punch back. But when you are knock out 80% of the time ....

Hmm 55 knockout losses with a few wins, or 31 knockout losses with no wins. Gotta be fair that is a seriously tough one to call.
Fair play to the guy, he went in with some good guys there, Tony Tucker (16 fights) when he was in his second pro fight. Sounds like pathetic management to me.....

Only KO'd the 10 times though. And one of those was against Prince Naseem!

To be fair, it looks like Buckley fought every couple of weeks. Probably hard to avoid him if you're in the same division!
