Scrum V Empty Scrum V

Post by Casartelli Sun 2 Sep - 18:27

BBC Wales' premier rugby round-up programme rendered unwatchable by Holley and his Wernham Hogg nonsense talk.

Cheers Sean, top job, again.

I can't stand this guy, at the O's he spent 3 seasons getting his face on camera at every possible opportunity, then even as coach he spent more time in front of the camera at half time than his boys!!!

Now he's landed his dream job I don't think I'll bother with scrum V when he's boring the screen into submission!!!

Yep. Never played the game. An abysmal failure as a coach. Despised by those (particularly NZers who knew their stuff) that had to play under him.

Now we're subjected to his verbal bum-gravy via our TV screens.

Love the way he's claiming Easterby must be the guy who's invented 'disruption' play, compliment him enough and he may give you a job!

Holley will be missing from the studio when they cut back. They'll just be carrying a body bag out in the background.

This has gone too far now, I can't listen to what they are saying. I'm fantasising about a sniper's laser dot tracing its way across Holley's forehead...

So Wales players will be thinking about the lions tour, and will have since the Aus tests.

It may be some players last chance,

Oh and maybe some of the ones who make will have been talked about on the show.

WHAT A GENIUS!

I'm going to tweet ScrumV - get someone on there who has more rugby knowledge than Holley. Like my nan. Who thinks Barry John is still playing.

Interesting. I think Howley's a good anaylst/commentator, maybe he should stay away from punditry.

I generally don't mind Holley, but it is his 'aint' I clever' twinkle inhis eye after ever dodged question that does my head in. That said I aint sure if he is a bad as Non Evans.

Also anyone notice they didn't bother to mention RGC's first match (which they won). I appreciate it is only low level stuff but it may well have been worth a mention at some point.

Just to confirm, Casartelli has nothing personal against Holley, I'm sure he's a great bloke, fine family man etc.

But, he has no credentials whatsoever to make any comment on the game of rugby football.

Casartelli has every episode of House, MD, on DVD, but it doesn't qualify me to go and lecture medical students.

Even though Casartelli would be good at it.

The whole program is awful. Not a single pundit will speak against the grain. It's all a giant love in! I watched the clips of the games but I found myself fast forwarding threw the nonsense of the panel. I like jiffy but it's just the same old stuff week in week out.

Hi FHF, how's things?

Just for you (and any other closet Holley fans out there) - here's the link to his website;

http://www.seanholley.co.uk/

Therein you will find links to his own online TV and radio channels. 'SHTV' and 'SH Radio'.

I SH you not.

Having followed the above link to seanholley.blah blah... I can only conclude that he has some extreme form of narcism. Could be an interesting test case for some psychiatrist out there. Such astonishing need for self promotion must indicate a deep insecurity.

Maybe not such a muppet given that the wru generates more profit and turnover than all other rugby nations except for france and england, which is quite an achievement when you consider the size of the welsh economy and its population compared to other nations.

Out of interest did anyone else notice the double standards those muppets used last night. Thing don't look that bad in Ospreylia now that they have that win under their belts, however everything is looking bad for the Dragons they have only one win in three. , ok not those exact words, but that gist.

I noticed.

Should definitely be the other way round. Expectations of the dragons will always be low early season ospreys invariably high to through the roof.

I cant say why unfortunately, I think the article would be too groundbreaking and technical for me to take in, so I didn't even attempt it!

Well, enough to be a CT3 or maybe 4. A doctor but still with years of training left to go and practically no decision making power especially if anyone even vaguely senior is within phonecall
