Forsyth-Barr Kicking Woes
First topic message reminder :
It can't be coincidental that virtually all usually reliable kickers can't perform at the FB stadium in Dunedin.
The ball does not seem to travel true from the impact, and it seems obvious there is some kind of swirling air current created by the Stadium.
Is this a deliberate design feature to force the game to be about scoring tries I wonder? is it just coincidence that NZ chose this evening to have such an "undisciplined" performance and concede so many "kickable" penalties?

Dear LostinWales,
I am very sorry if I offended you. Perhaps I was over the top in my rebuttal of your valid and interesting contribution. I apologise entirely and really did not mean to cause you any offense. If you feel you have been bullied out of conversation then I am retrite and remoreseful.
Please come back and share some more of your valid views on fluid dynamics and ball trajectories in the FB stadium.
Regards,
Anotherworldofpain.

Thanks GTS! Sometimes I need to be reminded when I'm being a plank. My nature culture is much more direct and aggressive and people don't get offended very easily so sometimes I overshoot the mark.

Nice apology AWOP but I'd say you were both right and were just approaching from different angles and disciplines. Just my opinion.
Glad to see you offering the blackberry branch at GITS request.
I also hope that albatross finds one of the gaps in the corners and can reunite with the flock on the peninsula.

Dear women on sports forums who aren't men pretending to be women,
I am very sorry if I offended you. Perhaps I was over the top in my claim that women in sports forums are normally men pretending to be women. I apologise entirely and really did not mean to cause you any offense. If you feel you have been bullied out of conversation then I am retrite and remoreseful.
Please come back and share some more of your valid views about sports without fear of being accused of being a man pretending to be a woman.

You are losing the plot AWOP, and it makes your apology to lostinwales seem insincere.anotherworldofpain wrote:Dear women on sports forums who aren't men pretending to be women,

What else would people pretending to be women on sports forums be? Now i'm confused, is there a third gender that nobody has told me about and if there is where can i get one?

OK, it isn't really a gender as much as a state of mind.

That bit is strange. The Aussie flag - but then she has 2 SA flags on her profile. Maybe she admires us/our country? She definitely has a Safferish name though?
Looks genuine AWOP. Many women love sport. Just ask dreamer.

You are very hard to convince sometimes.
So, we still don't know which team/province in NZ you follow. Who is your favourite team in the ITM Cup?
Auckland v Taranaki this afternoon. Looking forward to it?

I can barely contain myself LB. I find it hard to keep up with the ITM Cup to be honest, the timing doesn't suit me to watch so much. At any rate, I'm more a follower and lover of the game as a spectacle than a devout attendant of this team or that team. I've been partial to the BOP Steamers historically to be honest mostly because I lived in the BOP for a while.

Re: Forsyth-Barr Kicking Woes
Nice part of the world. Had some friends in Tauranga. I've tipped them (BOP) for the match against HB but both teams are struggling a little at the moment.
I know what you mean about the timing. I've had to cut out a lot of sport watching due to that. It nearly killed me! Lucky I'm divorced but it wasn't so good for my social life staying up until the wee hours in the glow of the big screen.
