Victor Ortiz vs Kell Brook?

For Kell Brook too make a big impact on the Welterweight division he needs to fight against better opposition he isn't going to do that by fighting someone like Dejan Zavec and Vyacheslav Senchenko who are just classed as paper champions in the division although he could go that way.Kell Brook is chasing a fight against Manny Pacquaio and am sure Ortiz also wants a fight against Manny and neither of them are going to get it unless they prove there one of the best in the division.An eliminator against Mike Jones would be a good fight and then take on Victor Ortiz with the winner fighting Pacman.Its a good move that Brooks switched promoters as Warren didn't have a good relationship with the WBC and he didn't seem to be going anywhere with Warren.Brook certainly isn't going to get a fight with Manny if he gets a fight against one of the paper champions in the division,lets hope Brook makes the right decision as he's a very talented fighter with a big future.

Also my prediction for Ortiz vs Brook is if Kell survives the early onslaught he'll outbox Ortiz and win by a close decision.

Kell is not busy enough to out-box Ortiz. He would have to KO him.

He has to jump on Ortiz early and take away his confidence. It Brook poses on the outside trying to look good without throwing punches, he will lose as Ortiz will dictate the pace.

Should take on jones, if he wins than he should go for berto. If he can get past them he will be a likely opponent for ortiz. I can see him beating berto and jones(although not easily) but ortiz would be too in his face for kell an would win a UD or a stoppage.

True but takes the risk of getting knocked out hes very quick out of the blocks Ortiz but I think Ortiz can lose his confidence at any point of the fight for example against Lamont Peterson bossing him at the start knocking him down twice but Peterson then took over and Ortiz confidence was gone if Brook could find a way of doing the same hes in with a shout.I also believe Ortiz lacks heart showed some against Berto but when he got knocked down he seemed to panic abit looking at his corner.Brook will get hit early but one punch can change the whole fight especially if Ortiz leaves himself open.I just see him doing the same as Lamont just winning.

Brook doesn't have enough of a name to get the Ortiz fight. Ortiz is well liked in the States will get good fighters who bring cash to the table. Brook would be better going after Jones then seeing if he can get a name like Malignaggi or Berto. He's just not been active enough he needs a tune up fight before he makes any big moves.

It was more stamina. But he does have confidence issues. Get his early and he may lose all hope early..

This fight won't happen. Brook isn't a big enough name to attract anyone like Ortiz. He will be lucky to get the Mike Jones fight. Jones isn't going to hang about waiting on him.

Americans love Mike Jones hes the "next" welterweight champion and if Brook fought and beat Jones he would get alot of recognition of Americans which could lead to a title fight.

Problem is Jones has been waiting long enough on Brook if that fight doesn't get made soon Brook could be left out in the cold even longer.
