Colin Gregor Empty Colin Gregor

I am disappointed by the fact that Colin is being over looked for Glasgow again. The boy is exactly what they need. A lot of pace and plays what's in front of him. I think hell be a big loss to 15s if he is used as purely a sevens player. Get him in the team now please.

Not been overlooked for this game or the previous ones, just not available due to his 7s commitments.

What sevens commitment? Is there a sevens tournament going on somewhere?

Gregors curse is that hes a good sevens player. In scotland if you show any aptitude for sevens, you have consigned yourself to never getting a decent run in the 15s team. A few lucky ones like Roddy Grant and Thom Evans escape, but others like Marky Mark Robertson and Colin Gregor think theyve got out, but soon get sucked back in.

Budgie is a good 7s player, but his problem is that he has a tendency to play the XV-a-side game much like he plays 7s, which can be brilliant or less-so

Can add Colin Shaw to that list.

Gregor is a full time member of the 7s squad. All his training and preparation is around the 7s game, last year at the start of the year the 7s squad was only made available to the Pro teams, because so many were away at the World Cup.
