Club v Regions v Provinces - Should they have there own sections on 606v2?
Club rugby section
Enough is enough.
This is the Club rugby section, am I right?
Yes.
So why do we have to put up with articles about Regions and Provinces, these aren't clubs IMO and therefore should have their own section on 606v2, maybe then it would cut down on all the my dads bigger than yours Holly Wilaboobie for tat that takes place every single day.

Actually having subsections would make a lot of sense.

Re: Club rugby section
Instead of different sections I think we need a coach for therapy sessions.
Then we can all sit on the coach and share.
It helped me get over Bruce Lawrence.

Re: Club rugby section
Hersh, what do you define a club as and how is it different from a region
Also where would you but Treviso as they are a club but are in the Rabo.
Sub sections would be nice but i like seeing all the stuff going on. It would only isolate the different leagues more.
How would we deal with HC & Amlin threads

Is it wrong to initially think 'i'm too lazy to click on anymore sub-section links'?
Edit: Why is there no option for cake?

I would prefer jelly and ice-cream personally, don't know if that's a possibility?
Ooooh, and blue coloured Cola Panda pop too!
Edit: Just noticed you're in Guildford.....I'm sat up at the Surrey Research Park right now working 'very hard indeed'!

Re: Club rugby section
If there were separate sections we would never hear anything about the AP. That's the good bit about this forum you get opinions from all over Ireland and the neighbouring Islands.

Hey now, I didn't say yes....was only asking what would happen if I did in case it involved jelly and ice-cream (but not cake...)
I'm not by the way, I'm in the STC up the road from them.

Re: Club rugby section
A club rugby section completely dedicated to 'club' rugby would bore the Irish posters to death.
You know how we are, how we get it hard to get motivated by anything, how we yawn and stretch our way through a............... where was I?.........oh yeah, ....through a season. We just wouldn't have the commitment to or interest in or the attention span to contribute to a section completely dedicated to 'club' rugby. There's be nothing to talk about.
Now a HEC club section!!!!!! - we'd be bright eyed and bushy tailed for that one!!! We come alive at the very thought of HEC
So let's say a section named: Hersh's Exceptional Club Section or Hersh's English Club Section would certainly get our juices flowing...if abbreviated.

Re: Club rugby section
If anyone else is feeling particularly pedantic I could just rename the "club" section to one of:
"Domestic Rugby"
"Sub-National Rugby" or even
"Non-International Rugby"
"Domestic Rugby"
"Sub-National Rugby" or even
"Non-International Rugby"

Re: Club rugby section
Perhaps we should have a "Top down" section for Unions, Test and franchise topics and a "Bottom up" section for professional and amateur clubs....gets my vote.

Re: Club rugby section
I would like like to submit changing the title to:
European Rugby: Exclusively Club Themed, Intentionally Omitting National Sides!
The up side it's quite clear in what the acceptable subject matter to be discussed is.
The down side is the acronym is 'ERECTIONS'

Yes and the fact the main reason for playing the game back then was social and drink related.
Cheers

From the English club perspective there is already a website forum dedicated to club rugby below the AP.
It is quite civilised, but I won't name check it on a rival site.

Re: Club rugby section
Can we cut to the chase here and give Hersh what he wants? A little section of his own would be great. The headings could be;
- International
- Club
- Hersh (WUM alert, do not enter)
