First topic message reminder :

He'll return from knee injury at the Abu Dhabi exhibition tournament, Dec. 27-29.
Guess makes sense, low key event but with strong opposition (e.g. Murray).
Looks like AO2013 is on then too.

Well obviously no pro player is talentless. But being honest does anyone really believe in equality between the "top four"? Federer and Nadal are head and shoulders above anyone else. Pro sport is not the same as a politically correct school sports day where everyone is declared a winner because whoever is not might get a little upset.

I never really got why some Fed fans call Nadal a talentless moonballer: I mean, what with Federer losing (roughly) 2 out of every 3 matches the two play, just what does that say about Federer? Wink

Clearly Fedal have the greatest legacy. In terms of individual matches each of the top four have the proven ability to beat any of the others on a given day, this is just a fact. You would understand this if you weren't blinded by hatred and obsession. A shame really.................

Well the original answer goes back to the baiting by Sampras fans who jumped aboard the SS Rafa.

Technically it wouldn't be illogical to make the point you raised, just wrong in this case. A guy can win with less talent, theres nothing inconsistent about that. Also, the h2h is driven by clay, so is a simplistic measure. Anyway, it's all rubbish.

I always imagine like Laver-Rosewall @AO carrying the Norman Brookes Trophy, to see Fedal carry the Wimbledon Trophy or Coupe des Mousquetaires
for some young'un 10-15 years from now.
