p.s. to add, Khan wouldn't step foot in KKK territory and expect to walk out alive.
He knew it was a rough area, you only go to those if you're a bit of a moron to be honest... Why? As it's inhabited by morons. After all they can't go to the nicer pubs/bars (and by nice I mean civilised) most people who've worked hard in their lives get to go to.

Lets keep the politics and borderline racism out of things lads, its Friday afternoon, I don't want to start deleting comments left right and centre and we all know from experience such subjects never end well.

Re: The birmingham thug who Khan KO'd speaks up...
Its a little overblown - those guys are in middle of bury park which is an asian shopkeeper area - grocery stores etc, also around our football stadium. The police station 1 minute away by a police car. For the most part those Muppet (al muhajiroon) stand around in the middle desperately seeking attention from the people crossing the road to ignore them. There are also two churches there - A black evangelical church and a protestant church - 30 second away from the mosque and between the police station and bury park a Gurudwara for sikhs. It was that silly bitch who sold out her own town to make a few pounds and Tommy Robinson from the edl who gave the impression that white people get beaten up on a regular basis.

At least they fight like men, no shame in getting your head kicked in by some individual hard nut.
Any more news from this tool btw (not Khan) or a response from Khan's camp? Surprised they haven't tried to set up a fight with him to be honest as he needs a safe one after his recent efforts.

Shah, I'm just saying I've driven through various parts of Luton before and had various groups come up to the car and start banging the windows/kicking off the mirrors etc.
And yes, it has probably happened in a vice a versa situation. I'm merely saying there are areas you just don't go in and know you shouldn't go in.
Turning up in £60k worth of car in an area full of thick goons probably isn't something I'd do for instance. Unless you're a gangster who owns the area of courase.

Re: The birmingham thug who Khan KO'd speaks up...
I'm on the fence here - Khan isn't exactly known for avoiding trouble and being shy/unreserved. I can imagine if Ricky Burns was approached, we wouldn't have heard anything, but suddenly Khans telling everyone who'll listen and all that. Not buying it.
I bet what happened was these tryhards approached Khan, threatened him, Khan got in their face instead of backing down - bit of a scuffle, local lads realising hitting a celebrity was a bad idea, Khan realising he shouldn't be hitting members of the public - and then a walkoff.
Then Khan thought "wait that'll get me some exposure" and mouths off. Guys that approached him think "that makes us sound like pussies" and hence the video.
Blah blah.

Ah I see - I was wondering why he would go into a no through route area
Re: The birmingham thug who Khan KO'd speaks up...
I went out in Luton once. Went to the Newt & Cucumber, I think it was. Watched Man Utd v Juventus. Must have been in the nineties. Got very drunk. Walked over the fly-over on my way home, and then got confused because there wasn't a fly-over there when I had gone out. Ended up quite lost.

Yeh the newt and cucumber is on wellignton or george street if I remember correctly, you ought to have gone downward into town rather than upward to the flyover. Every drunk gets lost there and end ups on the end of my road mesmerized by the giant british gas cylinder.
Re: The birmingham thug who Khan KO'd speaks up...
I once lost 3 hours after the Hatton Mayweather fight. I literally needed to walk 100m down the road to get home from a mate's house. Without actually getting home I arrived back at my mate's house 3 hours later. I reckon I could have been abducted and then had my memory erased.

Only been to Luton twice. First time aged about 10 with the folks n saw half a dozen asian lads beat the crap out of a homeless guy in the middle of the town centre, second time me n my mates all got mugged.
Needless to say I haven't gone back since (unless paid).

What a moronic creature - the video guy.
As for the neighbourhood in which the incident took place - it's just another inner city area that has the usual problems associated with these areas - no more no less. I happen to know Birmingham quite well.
It's certainly not a no go area for anyone. The person above who was blaming Khan for this needs his head examined. The guy was out socialising with his brother, not looking for trouble. How on earth could he be at fault for the criminal intentions of a group of thugs?
This could have happened anywhere; I've seen countless drunken-fueled brawls and incidents in Teddington/Twickenham/Richmond (my childhood roots). I expect if the incident had taken place in Mayfair, some people would still have blamed Khan.
Anyway, good on you Amir for sticking up for yourself amd walkig away unscathed.

Rumours spreading that the Khans were with an un named accomplice who finished off all the attackers with a single spinning back fist.

That had me roaring with laughter!!!
I don't see what wrong Khan has done, you can be mugged practically anywhere at more or less anytime, I've had an attempted mugging happen to me myself, broad daylight right near my house (Which is a nice area). Khan just happened to be targeted by thugs, and he seemingly dealt with them, he's done very little wrong if you ask me.

Re: The birmingham thug who Khan KO'd speaks up...
Yet another reason why Birmingham's the biggest hole in Britain.
Don't really want to give this 'news' story any more credence than it warrants, but some numpty in a balaclava holding random possessions up to a camera and claiming he's mugged a celebrity sounds no less far-fetched than one man saying he's knocked six out.
Sounds like both parties are trying to save a bit of face, but Khan, as a multi-millionaire who could afford all the protection he needs, shouldn't even be getting into situations with hoodrats/wannabe gangsters.
That said, if i was in the public eye and had found myself in a similar situation, i think one of the first things i'd do is get my PR people on the case, and we've seen recently in Khan's interviews with Kell Brook when questioned about their previous sparring experience, that shouting your version of events first is kinda his style.
