I know, just joking! ( but who seriously cares about the Wales team? )
Was going to mention that an I Evans and Charteris second row would be a lot better.

Parling playing like a man possessed! Youngs looking good as well, he's thinking first, much more mature performance. For the Boks Louw is such a beast! Awesome tackler, carrier and at breakdown. SAs third choice back row would be better than most countries 1st!

Farrell is the attack stopper, just makes bad calls and executes them badly.

Re: Fantasy Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Right decision imo, reckon Farrell should've tried from range the penalty earlier.
Going to the corner only yields like one try from ten attempts or something silly like that!

Re: Fantasy Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Just commented on this on the main board, trying to be neutral on here seeming as he's my player and I'm a Bath fan in real life. Seems strange to have him over Wade, who is probably the best long term option, but it's great that Lancaster is recognising club form. He's been outstanding in terms of attack and defence for 18 months for us.

Biggs is a poor defender, really can't see the reasoning to call him up.
I'm not sure Wade is worth the call up yet either, especially not against NZ.

Re: Fantasy Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Well he's in the Saxons, so seems like pretty solid reasoning. If you don't think Wade is ready, that leaves you with Strettle as the only other option, as I believe Monye is injured.
Don't see why you think he's a poor defender! Genuinely think he's one of the best defensive wingers in the league. Yeah he's small, but doesn't get bounced and is very strong for his size, puts in some great hits.

I don't think he should be in the Saxons either but thats a different story I guess.
If Biggs starts against NZ I think SL has lost the plot, I'd even have Vardell over Biggs. I'd have Wade over him too but don't think he's quite ready.
Johnny May hurry up and get fit man!!!

Varndell is in great form also, huge attacking threat, but he really is terrible defensively.
Surprised that you think Wade isn't ready, but May is. Why's that?

Re: Fantasy Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
May is a bit more rounded than Wade I think, both cracking prospects though.
Vardell looks better defensivley this year but agree can be an issue, better one on one than Biggs though.

Re: Fantasy Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Team for NZ then Pooly?
I'd want this
Corbs - huge blow if not fit, he's key
Youngs - really can't make up my mind on this. Like his physicality, but throwing was so poor. tempted to pick him to see if SA was a one off poor performance or if Fiji was a one off good performance (throwing wise)
Cole - first name on teamsheet
Parling - awesome at weekend
Launchberry - as above
Haskell
Robshaw - would love him to pick Steffon
Morgan
Care
Burns
Sharples - yep he had a shocker at Aus, but give him another go, otherwise his confidence will be shot
Barritt - last chance saloon
Tuilagi
Ashton
Goode
Would be seriously tempted with Goode at 10, Brown at 15, Burns off bench

I'd go with that pack Bathite, really stepped up against SA. I'd give Wood another go although he was poor.
Backline of
9. Youngs
10. Burns
11. Brown
12. Tuilagi
13. JJ

Would you guys want to chuck Burns in at the deep end? I'd say stick with Flood (unless injured) as he's used to international rugby otherwise I'd be very worried that the All Blacks would target Burns.
