- Tom and Dave Denton , Tonga'uhia and Croft to carry and get us on the front foot
- Plenty of ball for our outside backs with Shorts , Stuart and OLH all rapid and capable of carving the opposition up in open field.

- Get the rolling maul going at the lineout and put the defence on the back foot.
- Burguss and Steyn on after 50 mins to put the pressure on.

16. Jared Saunders 17. Rob Hawkins 18. Sekope Kepu 19. Charlie Matthews 20. Jonathan Poff 21. Jordan Burns 22. Harry Leonard 23. Chris Wyles

Tactics- We are expecting a bruising physical encounter from a big pack and a highly motivated team. Whilst we will not shirk from the forwards battle, using it as the focus for the gameplan would not be playing to our strengths, so if the weather is good, we will act to secure as much fast ball as possible, with Brown and York clearing out the rucks and Fraser (and sometimes Brown) getting the ball on the deck and spreading it around the backs who will make their opposite numbers run. They might put in some vicious hits but if we get them running early there will be gaps in the second half. I want angles run off Hodgson, switches and Goode as a second 1st receiver. Later in the game when the Wolves are tired from being moved around, bring on Poff at 7, moving Fraser to 6 and Brown to 8 and hit the breakdowns even more aggressively to cut off their access to the ball and maximise the time we spend running at their knackered defence. I'd like Burns on at 9 later in the game to use his pace against tired legs. If the weather is less good, play more of a kicking game, as our lineout should still be strong as will our breakdown and Hodgson, Goode and Stanely are all kickers and Spencer is a promising controlling SH.

Attack- As above. Still use the forwards, in units of 3, to wear down their pack's defence off slow ball. Get Brits in the centre sometimes to to add another runner to the attack.

Scrum- they will be tough but our front row are very proficient, with Kepu in reserve. Use moves off the back to get the attack started early

Lineout- Ryan jump middle and call, with other jumpers Fraser, Kruis and York. Mix up maul and off the top. Treat as a platform for moves.

Defence- Be very wary on the fringes of rucks as they will use their forwards. I want Brown and Mako on guard there. Big players might breach the line so be ready to scramble tackle and I want York on sweeping duty and Fraser attacking their HBs as it works to their strengths

Kicking- Stanley takes pressure off Hodgson and I think we can kick slower ball for territory if nothing is on. Run back kicks in the back 3, and I want Brits and York chasing kicks.

Burrell to look to draw defenders using his size to give more space to Goosen.
Goosen to play flat
Gaskell at 6 means we have plenty of lineout options
Employ a blitz defence
Use our ball carriers in the pack and centres to make yards.
McLeod to take some responsibility early on in what is Goosen's first game in a Sale shirt for a while.

- High tempo from the off , plenty of offloading and clearing the rucks to generate quick ball.
- Tom and Dave Denton , Tonga'uhia and Croft to carry and get us on the front foot
- Plenty of ball for our outside backs with Shorts , Stuart and OLH all rapid and capable of carving the opposition up in open field.
- Taylor to tap and go and snipe and tire the opposition out.
- Get the rolling maul going at the lineout and put the defence on the back foot.
- Burguss and Steyn on after 50 mins to put the pressure on.
