Burrell to look to draw defenders using his size to give more space to Goosen.
Goosen to play flat
Gaskell at 6 means we have plenty of lineout options
Employ a blitz defence
Use our ball carriers in the pack and centres to make yards.
McLeod to take some responsibility off of Goosen

Tactics- Today we will flood the breakdown with our 3 back rowers all very capable there. Fraser and Poff to primarily share floor duties with Brown and Ryan clearing out but Brown and Kruis getting involved in fetching when appropriate too. We will aim to deprive Agen of ball, then use mauls and tight picks in pods of 3 forwards to tire their pack and move the ball around the backs to tire their backs. Quick ball to be spread quickly by Goode. As he hasn't started 10 in a bit, we will give him time at scrums by using the flankers feet to play the opposition 9 and 7 offside, and back row moves to distract their back row. In the second half, if things are going our way we can move Kelly back to 6 and Robinson to 8 to aid our carrying and bring Brits on to start to break the opposition down with carries from Robinson, Brown, Brits, Vunipola, and Ryan. If we are struggling there are big names on the bench to steady the ship. If Goode's kicking falters, Parra can come on at 9 to take the pressure off him. I want multiple runners off of Allen, who is our 1st point in attack, but later in the match get him to dummy run more and pivot off Goode/Hodgson.
Defence- blitz, Brown cover the blind side in scrums and rucks, Poff cover open and Fraser rush the 9. To do this, I want 6- Fraser, 7- Poff, 8- Brown in attack but 6- Brown, 8- Poff, 7- Fraser in defence
Set piece- lots of jumping options so vary the receiver in the lineout. Should be able to pressurise the scrums, but need to see who they play there
Chase back kicks, but always make sure there is a supporter. With this backrow, we should retain our possession in contact so don't force it. If they can't win the ball from steals or errors, they will struggle to score

- High tempo from the off , plenty of offloading and clearing the rucks to generate quick ball.
- Denton, Fisher , Tonga'uhia and Clifford to carry and get us on the front foot
- Plenty of ball for our outside backs with Shorts , Stuart and OLH all rapid and capable of carving the opposition up in open field.
- Taylor to tap and go and snipe and tire the opposition out.
- Get the rolling maul going at the lineout and put the defence on the back foot.
- Wiggles and Steyn on after 50 mins to put the pressure on.
