David Price 14-14-12 v Mike Tyson 14-14-13
Simple who wins?
Both fighters at the same stage of their careers in terms of fights, both undefeated, both with ko power.

Impossible to back anything other than a Tyson win by knockout. I appreciate that their ledgers after fourteen fights are comparable, and we're meant to be basing it solely on that, but you can't realistically ignore that Tyson went on to establish himself as a great Heavyweight. It's anyone's guess as to whether or not Price can get close to that as things stand.

True but at the time Tyson was still green without the amature expearience that Price has.
Still both very young heavies who pack a punch but Price has the height and range to beat Tyson.

And Tyson the perfect Style to get around that. It would have been fun while it lasted but 7/10 times Tyson gets in a clean few hits first.

Sorry i was a bit dismissive there. I just can't see anything other than Tyson, i know they've both been fighting tomato cans just now but he still had that basic aggressive instinct and pretty good defense, far too quick for Price. He's quick for a guy 6'8 but don't think he has a hope of stopping Tyson as he won't stand in front unlike the complete dross of McDermott, Sexton and Harrison.

Still he carrys 1 punch ko power,
I guess Cus D'matos style would pose problems for Price plus Tyson was used to punching upwards.
Hard to call tho.

Id pretty much agree with Chris. Tyson at 19/20 a that stage of his career was pretty close to being good enough to be the heavyweight world champion. It remains to seen with Price how much of his potential will be realised.

Tyson had an excellent chin though, it's not like Price could just put him down with one punch and it would be tough to tag him anyway..

Its just an observation of Price at this stage of his career compared to Tyson after 14 fights.

Would like to see Price v Mitchell, think it'd be a great and competitive match-up but I doubt the yanks will risk their boy (as much as he has been challenged a thousand times harder than Bronze Bomber turd).
