Team talk:
Right lads, I want you to play more direct and be dominate throughout. They’ve got nothing to play for and already relegated! We need to focus on our job and not what’s going on around us! Relax and play the football i know you're capable of. - Good luck!
Attacking Tactics:
* Play at a quick tempo – look to pass and move and create space in a congested space.
* Lampard & Murphy - use your experience, look to supply our front men with precise passing to feet.
* Dembele & Dempsey - drift inside and link up with Torres.
* Torres - play on the shoulder of the defence. Look to break away.
Defending Tactics:
* Lampard & Murphy - close down the man in possession.
* Lucas - mark their AM out of the game.
* Dembele & Dempsey - drop back into the channels and help to defend when we’re under pressure.
* Kaboul & Coates - match Lambert physically and win your headers.

An attacking line up today and we're going to score goals. Chelsea will probably play one upfront so when we defend we should get tight to the likes of Mata and Valencia. Cissokho should dive straight in with tackles, and if Mata is central then Noble should drop off to shackle him. Moutinho is a handful and it is important he has pressure on him.
However, most of our play will revolve around attacking. Uchida and Cissokho will bombard forward at every opportunity, and Alvarez and Noble will take it in turns to support the frontmen. The front four are all free to interchange, they all have the pace on them to give Mbiwa and Terry problems, constantly all make runs across their defense, run at the defenders if you have the ball. Cole and Ivanovic will get forward so there may be space to exploit there. Attack them.

Re: Final Gameweek Tactics Hand-In
Reading v Stoke City
Manchester United v Norwich City
- Spoiler:
- Injuries: Thomas Sorensen, Michael Owen, Joey Barton4-4-2
Asmir Begovic
Alan Hutton - Robert Huth - Ryan Shawcross - Maynor Figueroa
Michael Kightly - Jonjo Shelvey - Abou Diaby - Ashley Young
Peter Crouch - Jermain Defoe
Subs: Ricardo Carvalho, Wilson Palacios, Matthew Etherington, Clarence Seedorf, Michu, Kevin Mirallas
You don't need me to tell you how important today is. Win and we're definitely safe, but a draw is enough for Reading so I anticipate a defensive approach from them. We're set up to attack but not to overcommit, there's plenty of time to score goals so be patient, keep the ball, pass it around. Begovic, command your area, look for long range shots, start attacks from the back. Huth/Shawcross, without Drogba Reading are weaker but still a threat. Pressurise Hunt/Cole/Jerome, force them away from goal to lessen their effect. Hutton/Figueroa, Kebe and McAnuff aren't natural wingers so when they get forward, force them wide. Block any crosses and get forward to support the wingers. Shelvey/Diaby, our CM's, both play box to box to keep their defence guessing, one always stays back to stop the counter attack. Kightly to target Harte who is old and slow, knock it past him and run, you'll find yourself in space to cross or drive into the area. Young, Rangel will try and force you wide, sell him tricks and use pace to cut inside or drive outside and cross. Crouch/Defoe, plenty of experience as a front two before, Defoe to make runs in behind the defence and Crouch to win headers, hold up play and both shoot on sight.
Subs 70 mins:
If winning/if drawing and Norwich are losing: Palacios and Etherington on, Shelvey and Young off. Switch to a more rigid 4-4-2, but keep the front two there to punish Reading if they overcommit.
If drawing and Norwich are winning/drawing: Michu and Seedorf on, Shelvey and Diaby off. Need to push for the win so Seedorf to DM, be our Pirlo, take the ball from our CB's and pick the right passes. Michu be just off the strikers, late runs into the area and shoot on sight.
If losing: Michu and Etherington on, Shelvey and Young off. Go to 4-1-3-2 with attacking fullbacks. Michu to AM/SS, make late runs into the box. Etherington to LW and get plenty of crosses into the box. Huth and Shawcross get forward too. Go for it. Save our club from relegation. Become a hero.
Manchester United v Norwich City
- Spoiler:
- Injuries: Maicon, Ryan Giggs, Anders LindegaardDavid De Gea
Rafael - Mats Hummels - Nemanja Vidic – Fabio Coentrao
Shinji Kagawa - Paul Scholes - Darren Fletcher - Andre Schurrle
Gonzalo Higuain - Karim Benzema
Subs: Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Steven Gerrard, Kevin Strootman, Tom Cleverley, Javier Hernandez
Today is all about business. Forget Norwich fighting relegation, they'll sit back and hang on for the draw, today is about scoring goals. If we win by 4 or more, and Everton lose, it's the difference between Europa League and the Champions League. The Champions League is where you belong! Earn your place in Europe's Elite by swatting aside Norwich. Be absolutely ruthless. De Gea, build attacks from the back, look for the rare attacks from Norwich. Hummels/Vidic, bully Holt out of the game, if they're crazy enough to play 2 strikers, be strong in the air and bring the ball into midfield to exploit the space. Rafael/Coentrao, force their wingers away from goal, bomb forward to support the wingers if they sit back. Get crosses in. Fletcher/Scholes, sit in CM, keep things ticking over, be the cover for the fullbacks/CB's if we get caught short. Shoot from range if space opens up infront of you, and create for the strikers whenever you can. Kagawa/Schurrle, drift infield, get at the fullbacks, use the overlapping fullback to get forward and look for the front two. Higuain/Benzema, you'll get plenty of chances created, lose your markers and I expect a hat-trick each today. Be utterly ruthless and fire us to the Champions League!
Subs: None unless injury occurs. Keep the pressure up on Norwich and force them back regardless of the score. We need goals after all.

CB: Olof Mellberg
CB: Chico
LB: Antonio Lopez
CM: Morgan Schneiderlin
CM: Adam Lallana
CM: Charlie Adam
AM: Mathew Phillips
ST: Rickie Lambert
ST: Kenwyne Jones
Tactics
Even though we’re relegated we have plenty to play for, let’s put on a performance for the fans and pick up the first league win of the season! Defenders play a slightly deeper line dropping when they’re attacking from flanks. Solid, battling display commanding our area, defend in number throwing bodies in picking up loose/2nd balls. Full-Backs isolate their wingers, force them to inside where midfields will pick them up. Morgan/Charlie will play deep roles. Morgan’s height will dominate aerial play in the middle & fill in holes when dealing with crosses. Adam start attacking movements with diagonal/High balls. Both of you pick up wingers when they cut-inside. Lallana look to start attacking moves, link up attacking play and look to provide support with late runs into spaces. Phillips use your trickery to take on players drawing them away from positions. Look to run into space attacking either full-back. Lambert/Jones use your height/strenght to bully their defenders.

Sagna and Gibbs are to sit back and help their defence out and only break forward when we go on the break. Sagna and Gibbs are quick and will keep with the opposing wingers, force them out of play. They will get forward and support the wingers but only when safe and one at a time.Koscielny and Vermaelen are to be big and strong in their tackles and in air. They are quick and powerful and they will watch for players coming through or through balls, so they can intercept man or ball .Song and m'vila are to be big and strong in their tackles. Both need to sit back and help the defence out.Podolski and Cazorla are to help out their full back and need to be quick when we go on the break. Giroud needs to be getting in and around Rvp to give him support up front. We need him to get the ball from the back and break forward as much as possible to support Rvp. Rvp is to be big and strong in the air. He needs to hold the ball up and draw in our other players from midfield. He will look for Song,m'vila,Cazorla and Podolski to set him up, if they create, he will score.
