Re: Tactics
Dos Cervezas por favour v Bratwurst Mannschaft
- Dos Cervezas por favour:
- Injuries: Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Ineligable: GansoSergio Asenjo (SPA)
Pablo Zabaleta – Mats Hummels – Benedikt Howedes – Yuto Nagatomo
David Luiz – Mateo Kovacic
Jesus Navas (SPA) - Ronaldinho – Douglas Costa
Romelu Lukaku
Subs: Thomas Kaminski, Andoni Iraola (SPA), Christian Fuchs, Gael Bigirimana, Markel Susaeta (SPA), Ibrahim Afellay, Dimitar Berbatov
Setpieces
Penalties: Hummels
Close range freekicks: Ronaldinho
Long range freekicks: Luiz
Corners: Ronaldinho, with Luiz and Hummels getting forward.
Manager’s note: Tough game today but I’ve made some changes to shake up the squad, but all while maintaining a very solid base to build off and still have a high level of attacking flair.
Asenjo, command your area, stay in communication with your defence, use the fullbacks and midfielders dropping deep to begin attacks with the wingers and the ball over the top as an option.
Hummels/Howedes, Mandzukic is your main target, I want Hummels to be all over him, give him no chance to turn and shoot, force him deeper into areas he struggles in, Howedes to be the one who cleans up and stops any runs into the area from Ben Arfa.
Zabaleta, possibly up against Gaitan, force him wide, don’t let him inside. Use your head and don’t dive in. Let him dribble into no-man’s land, close down any crosses and occasionally support the wingers.
Nagatomo, potentially up against Shaqiri, you’re one of the few defenders in the league with pace to match him, watch out for the ball over the top but also don’t be afraid to push him back. Always force him outside as crossing isn’t his strong point but still stay close to cut out any passes.
David Luiz, I want you to sit infront of the back four rather than track their AM. If he drops deep, let Kovacic pick him up, don’t allow space in behind you. If he’s running at you, cut him off. When on the ball, you become the deep lying playmaker. Use your passing ability to it’s fullest, look for Ronaldinho in the hole and the wingers. Cover at fullback when one of them gets forward.
Kovacic, help out when we don’t have the ball, but when we do I want you to be making runs forward. When you’re marauding through their midfield, one of Bender/Cambiasso wont know what’s hit him. Shoot if you get the chance.
Navas/Costa, when in possession, run at their defence, get crosses into the box for Lukaku and also cut inside to shoot or pass. Swap wings occasionally to keep their fullbacks guessing. Use the wingbacks overlapping. Link up with Ronaldinho in the middle. Track back when out of possession and help the fullbacks.
Ronaldinho, a risky decision to pick you but based on your current real life form it’s a gamble worth taking. I want you to play in the hole, no defending responsibilities, just be the linkman between the midfield, wingers and striker. Use as many of your tricks, flicks and skills as necessary as long as you create chances for others and for yourself. The key is no-one at Bratwurst will be expecting you to play, so go out there and grasp your opportunity. No pressure at all, just be Ronaldinho.
Lukaku, look to feed off of the wingers and Ronaldinho providing chances and passes to you. With Godin injured, it leaves Jagielka and Chygrynskiy as their likely CB’s. Neither has the power to stop you outmuscling them and neither has the pace to catch you. Bully them, turn them and get in behind whenever the ball is played over the top. Be your usual self with finishing.
Subs 70 mins:
If winning: Ronaldinho off, Bigirimana on. Bigi to be an extra DM as we play 4-5-1, Navas and Costa dropping deeper. Look to counter attack.
If drawing: Ronaldinho off, Berbatov on. Something different, with Berba in the hole with fresh legs and fresh idea. Push for the win.
If losing: Ronaldinho and Kovacic off, Berbatov and Afellay on. Zabaleta to RWB, Nagatomo to LWB. Luiz to CB with Hummels and Howedes as we move to an attacking 3-5-2. If still losing, send Hummels and Luiz forward.
- Bratwurst Mannschaft:
- Injuries: Rene Adler, Diego Godin
----------------------Horn----------------------
---------Wisdom---Chygrinksy---Jagielka---------
Shaqiri---Cabaye----Bender---Van Ginkel---Marin
--------------------Ben Arfa---------------------
-------------------Mandzukic----------------------
Tactics: It's new, it's different, we're just gonna attack like crazy. Dominate the midfield, hit the wingers, and score. Outscore them. We nullify there midfield with our 4 in there, Bender sits deep on the CAM if there is one.

Team Talk: We're up against a very strong Brescia side who are probably one of the strongest sides in the league. I'd imagine that they will go 4-2-3-1 with a strong midfield. With this in mind we're going with Pogba as he can use his energy to close down Pirlo and prevent them from ticking, he can also shield Alonso when we have the ball in order for him to play some of his amazing passes. We will attack down the wings with great attacking fullbacks and two quick wingers. Alaba and Azpiliceuta both have permission to get forward so we can overwhelm their fullbacks. Isco and Alonso are both in to dictate the play and ensure we keep possession. Lets pick up a win and rip the title race wide open!
Willy - Control your box and look to release it to the fullbacks or Alonso
Azpiliceuta/Alaba - You have permission to get forward today but you must make sure you get back quickly to ensure we are never outnumbered, both of you have got great engines on you so lets use that to our advantage today. When you do get forward look to go outside of the wingers and whip in dangerous balls for Soldado
Varane/Garay - Garay to pick up their striker (if they play a lone one) and use all of your knowledge to prevent him from settling, be physical and knock him off his game. Varane to sweep behind and play a bit deeper of the two, pick up any runners from deep
Alonso - You are one of the best midfielders in the league and today we will play to your strengths. When they have the ball I want you protecting our back four and disrupting their play. As soon as we get the ball look for your killer long passes to the wingers and the advancing fullbacks. Where possible also look for the sensational passes to Isco which will allow him to dicate play from higher up
Pogba - As mentioned in the team talk you've been chosen for your energy in the center of the park, when they have the ball look to close down Pirlo and prevent him from getting into the game. As soon as we get it I want you going box to box from alongside Alonso to alongside Isco. Keep the energy up and stick to your role
Tello/Callejón - With the fullbacks as an option outside you will have the chance to drift inside and look to play in the gap between their fullbacks and center backs. Take them on and beat them. When you drift inside look to link up with Isco. Finally feel free to switch wings so that they can't settle on you
Isco - Operate in between the lines and utlise the space that Soldado will provide you with. Look to pick up the passes from Alonso before slotting it through to Soldado. If you get a sniff feel free to have a pop. I'd imagine they will look to mark you closely so drift around and pull him out of position which again will give us room to work in
Soldado - Use your great movement to provide Isco and the wingers room to work in. If they man mark you drift around to stop him from settling on you. Finally you are one of the best strikers in the league so lets get a couple of goals tonight!

Team talk:
Defensively, we press high up the pitch and win the ball back quickly before the opposition can even think about how to attack.
Offensively, Pirlo to dictate the tempo and feed the 3 attacking mids. If you are followed closely, we bypass Pirlo and it should mean Jovetic in more space to run at the defence. Cassano to operate up front, but with the AMs in close support.
Buffon Stand tall, come for crosses that are close to you making them need to aim crosses further out. Use all your experience to command your defence. Distribute short as much as possible. Be on your toes for balls in behind the defence and sweep them up.
Full backs You are part of a unit, so keep your shape and defend togetherPick up any wide players , keep tight and force them to cross from wide and deep as much as possible. Get forward when you can, to support the winger, overlapping and getting low balls in between keeper and defence.
CBs – Vidic will pick up the main striker, Ivanovic will pick up any second striker if there is one. If not, he will play spare, sweeping up, plus tracking any midfield runners into the box. Both will go forward for corners and set pieces.
CMs –. Pirlo to sit in deeper playmaker position, get on the ball and dictate the tempo of the game, feeding the attackers. Get the ball either into the wingers feet, or in behind for them to run onto. Marchisio to provide the drive and energy in midfield, breaking up attacks before they get going. Occasionally drive on to the edge of the box, looking for chances of shots on goal When the FBs get forward, you should both support the CBs and cover them.
Wingers – Alternate between receiving the ball deep and running at the defence, and spinning in behind. When you get the ball, we want the full box of tricks. We want to keep the defence on their toes and stretch them all over the place. When crossing, go low and hard between the CBs and keeper. When we lose the ball, press the ball straight away and win it back as quickly as possible, then attack before they have a chance to organise themselves. Switch sides to keep the full backs guessing
Jovetic – A free role behind the main striker today. Get on the ball and run at the defence. Go where you want to create the most havoc and cause the most damage. We want to keep the defence on their toes and stretch them all over the place. Defensively, press the ball early.
Cassano – The main focal point of our attacks. Work hard and stretch the defence, and bring the AMs into the attack. When the ball goes wide, get in the box.. We want them unsure of whether to sit higher or deeper. Defensively, both press the ball early.

Team Talk: One of the leagues strongest teams so we have to be at our best. We have a team that is solid in defending and the flair to open the opposition up.
Fridel: Stand big and tall make the striker commit. Try to catch ball but punch if you need to. Tip shots away from danger and communicate with defence
Fullbacks: I only want one attacking at a time. Run forward to create space and get crosses in. When defending watch the ball and jockey your man don't dive in.
Centre backs: Rami pick up main striker hassle him you have pace and power to compete. Close the space down and watch his runs. Boateng spare man any runners or knock downs clear it be aware of any balls behind you try and intercept.
DM: Gundogan close down quickly don't give them room on the ball push them back cover for defenders if they out of position keep passing simple but if there is an opening look to hit it long. Ledesma keep ball moving demand ball drop deeper if you have to control tempo help defend chase runners and jockey get ball out wide.
The attacking three can rotate positions with each other. Look to pass an move quickly also run with the ball at the defence make them commit opening spaces for us. Get crosses in for others or through balls cut inside and if you can shoot do it.

- Bratwurst Mannschaft v Deportivo la Chorizo
Injuries: Hatem Ben Arfa, Dmytro Chygrynskiy
Formation: 4-1-4-1
Starting XI:
GK - Rene Adler
RB - Daniel Carvajal
CB - Diego Godin
CB - Phil Jagielka
LB - Marcel Schmelzer
CDM - Lars Bender
CM - Yohan Cabaye
CM - Marco Van Ginkel
RM - Xherdan Shaqiri

Kevin Prince Boateng--------Adler-----------------

Shaqiri---Cabaye---Van Ginkel---Gaitan
--------------Mandzukic---------------
Team Talk: Right guys we know they'll set out in there usual boring 4-2-3-1, so we've set up to sit back and defend properly, then to use our pace and skill out wide to take advantage of there FB's who are very suspect defensively, and there CB's who Mandzukic can dominate. We have the ability to break from deep in midfield, but also match them man for man, not allowing Alonso time on the ball. Sharp incisive counter attacks, draw them onto us, and then force the error by pressing in the right areas, and go like the wind.
Tactical Instructions:
Adler - Command the back four today. Anything floated up in the air, you come and get it. They will take shots from long range, so be ready, nothing will beat you from there if you keep your concentration. Look to distribute long to Mandzukic or through the full backs.
Carvajal and Schmelzer - They will look to hurt us with there wing play today. Force the wingers out wide, and into crosses, we can handle there aerial threat. If you can get forward, do so. However do not leave us exposed to a counter from them. Look to find Cabaye if the keeper feeds you the ball.
Jagielka and Godin - The back four need to be in a good straight line, Godin is our leader at the back and should control this. We should be generally just on the edge of the area where there is not enough space to play behind and trying to restrict them too long range efforts. Jagielka and Godin both have a height advantage on Soldado and should make the most of that by winning all of the aerial balls.
Bender - Big role today as you look to keep Isco quiet. He will play CAM for the most part, but do not let yourself be drawn out wide as he will try to do. Let him drift out there, as he will cramp the space for the wingers, and be ineffective. You sit back always and screen the back four, cover if a FB goes forward. Look to feed Cabaye if you get the ball.
Cabaye and Van Ginkel - Big role for you two today. You must be disciplined in your defensive duties, and when we do attack look to get it out wide quick and make the box. Van Ginkel you have the youth in your legs to get around Alonso who will be there playmaker, make sure he doesn't have time to pick up the ball deep and pull the strings. Cabaye you track the other CM. Both of you have very good long shots, so don't be afraid to shoot if you get the chance.
Shaqiri and Gaitan - Boys a huge role today. You must be disciplined in your defensive duties. Get back in and double up with your FB's, and don't let the wingers/fb's cut inside, force them wide. When we counter, we are looking to you two to cause trouble. Take on your full backs and whip in crosses for Mandzukic, or cut inside and shoot. Be direct, it is important we attack at pace.
Mandzukic - Big role for you today and you play it amazingly well. If we have to go long quickly, we hit you. You must hold the ball up, so it allows us to relieve some pressure. When holding it up, look to hit Cabaye or the wingers. We will look to get crosses in, you are a great header of the ball, so look to pinch us some goals to win us the game.
Set pieces

Right Corner - Cabaye
Free Kicks - Cabaye

Substitutions
If winning/drawing: 70 minutes - Kießling for Mandzukic, Cambiasso for Van Ginkel. Same instructions, fresh legs to help the cause. Cambiasso adds experience to help us get through the last 20 minutes.
If losing: 70 minutes - Kießling for Van Ginkel. Go 4-4-2 and attack to try and get the goals to get us back in the game

Team Talk: Big game today with one of main rivals for the league title having beaten our opposition today last week it is imperative that we follow suit in order to keep the pressure on them. With this in mind we are looking to hit the wings hard with Monreal and Alaba playing on the left and Azpiliceuta and Tello on the right. If Mannschaft go with their attacking formation from last week this will hurt them, if they revert back to type it will hurt them as well with their fullback options being limited. Get the play flowing through Isco and Alonso with Soldado finishing it off. I want goals today!
Pinto - Command your box, when we get the ball look for Alonso or the wings
Azpiliceuta/Monreal - You have license to get forward, when you do so give the option outwide so we can dominate the wings. Make sure you get back so we are never outnumbered. Although we are going for the win we must keep a clean sheet
Varane/Garay - Garay to pick up their main striker and mark him out of the game, Varane to sweep/pick up the second striker. You are both great defenders who have the pace to deal with their threats
Alonso - Operate from deep and pick your sensational passes to our wingers, the overlapping fullbacks and Isco. When they have the ball make sure you marshall our troops and operate with Matuidi in front of our back four. As soon as we get it we need to break and put pressure straight back on them
Matuidi - Box to box for you this week in the role you excelled in against Barca. Use your strength to muscle them off the ball and play the simple ball to Alonso or Isco. When you burst forward I want you to give us another option where you can hit it
Tello/Alaba - As mentioned in our team talk you two are key today, with that in mind I want you to terrorize their fullbacks (presuming they revert back and play them). If they don't play fullbacks again then destroy there midfielders who will be tracking back. Feel free to alternate between going to the byline and drifting in as you both have the ability to beat a man and whip in a cross. When you come inside link up with Isco
Isco - Playing in the hole I'd imagine Bender will be marking you. With this in mind I want you to drift and find the space. When you get into space look to pick up the ball from Alonso or the Wingers before using your skill to make something even if there is nothing to make it out of! When you get into a gap just outside the box feel free to have a pop
Soldado - Utilise your great movement to create space for Isco and the wingers to work in. Pick up the great passes from Alonso and the crosses from the wingers/fullbacks. Most importantly I want goals from you today, lets kickstart the defence of our title today!

Team Talk: Last game that I'll be in charge of you boys, lets go out and grab a win. we are a settled side and have played without much chop and change. Let them have the ball in thier own half when they come in ours pressure the m.
Fridel: Stand your ground make the goal look small by spreading your body. Try to claim ball but if you can't then punch it. Any shots you can't hold onto parry away from danger.
Jung: Jockey your man watch ball not feet push him away from goal try and block crosses. When attacking make runs taking player with you to create space get balls into box.

English players: 4 (Foster, Baines, Carrick,Walker)
Injuries: ba/Chamaco
TACTICAL SUMMARY:
This is a though game but we need to go out there in right mind and play some nice football , i want you to press high and make them cause mistakes, we must take every chance given as this one will be hard but if we focus well we can take it !.
INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTIONS:
GK - Foster – let the CBs know if you can claim the ball or if there is danger lurking around. Parry shots away from danger, try to catch the ball but punch to distance if you need to.
LCB - Chiellini – you will pick up the main striker. Keep tight on him, don’t let him settle, if he moves then move with him. Make sure you don’t dive in - keep him at bay until Bonucci can come across to dispossess him as you are captain make sure there is good communication in the defense
CCB - Bonucci – you will pick up the second striker (if there is one). If they play with one forward, you will sit slightly deeper than Chiellini, covering for him and ensuring the rest of the defence know their jobs.
LB - Baines – I want you to concentrate on your defensive duties today. Keep tight on the winger, force him wide and block the cross. When you can get forward do so, but always make sure you’re in position defensively.
RB - Walker – ensure that their LW is nullified – keep him on the outside, get physical on him and don’t get any crosses get in.
CM - Wanyama – you have two jobs: to get stuck in and put them off their game physically, and to keep the ball moving – get the ball to Carrick or Giggs, and find Lamela and Pato in space. Be wary of anyone playing in the hole – if the opponents play an AM, stick to him tight and don’t let him play.
CM – Carrick – your job is to sit deep, control the play, and support the attack with your trademark through balls. You have a great range of passing – use it to feed Eriksen in and to help him try and get our strikers in , and get the ball slid in for defo and patos runs at goal.
CM – Giggs – I want you to help Wanyama defensively, and to help Carrick with setting up attacks. You can drop deep, move wide, do whatever you have to get the ball moving and the opposition tired. Your main task is to get balls forward to Eriksen/pato/Defoe
AM – Eriksen – You have a free role today and our a key man in our creativity– get into space, get the ball, run at the defence and into the gaps created by pato and defoe I want you to attack the defence, get through them, and get shots on goal. You have great pace so you will tire the opposition, keep going til the very end!
ST – defoe – get on headers when needed and try and get shots on target. – y. Get into space, get on the ball, run at the defence and get shots on goal. Ba will be there if you need to play the ball to him, try and confuse CB and give them a real hassle.
ST - pato – I want you to keep the CBs confused so keep moving, and make plenty of diagonal runs across them.l use the space you create, so make sure you drag defenders with you, and get into the box for crosses and half-chances.

- Dos Cervezas por favor v No Respek FC
Injuries: Mateo Kovacic, Jordi Gomez3-4-3
Sergio Asenjo (SPA)
Benedikt Howedes – Mats Hummels – David Luiz
Pablo Zabaleta – Felipe Melo – Henrikh Mkhitaryan – Yuto Nagatomo
Jesus Navas (SPA) – Romelu Lukaku – Ibrahim Afellay
Subs: Thomas Kaminski, Victor Ruiz (SPA), Christian Fuchs, Gael Bigirimana, Ganso, Douglas Costa, Dimitar Berbatov
Playing a strong 3-4-3 today to get at No Respek and earn 3 points.
Asenjo, command your area, stay in communication with your CB’s, watch for long shots and use the wingbacks as an outlet.
Howedes/Hummels/Luiz, be commanding, if they play 1, 2 or 3 forwards, you have the ability to cope. In possession, use the ball wisely, feed the CM’s who have the ability to cause real problems for them. Play a decent line, not too high and not too deep.
Zabaleta/Nagatomo, work the flanks, when we have the ball get forward and support the front three and get crosses into the box. When we don’t have the ball, drop back to form a defensive five. Both of you are more than capable of playing the wingback role as you are both attacking fullbacks when you want to be.
Melo/Mkhitaryan, sit deep and cause them problems with your passing, but I want Mkhitaryan to showcase his marauding runs from midfield, get into their half and create space and opportunities for those in front of you.
Navas/Afellay, when in possession, run at their defence, get crosses into the box for Lukaku and also cut inside to shoot or pass. Swap wings occasionally to keep their fullbacks guessing. Use the wingbacks overlapping. When we don’t have the ball, drop back alongside Melo and Mkhitaryan to help our 5-4-1 shape, but be quick to get forward again once we’re attacking.
Lukaku, our lone striker, do your best to not be isolated, hold the ball up and feed the wingers and midfielders or turn and shoot. Escape the centre back to be free in the area as there will be crosses coming into the box from the wingbacks and wingers who will be looking for you.
Subs 70 mins:
If winning: Afellay, Luiz and Navas off, Berbatov, Ruiz and Bigirimana on. Bigirimana alongside Melo and Mkhitaryan, Berbatov joining Lukaku upfront. Play a 3-5-1-1/5-3-1-1 with the wingbacks still in operation and Berbatov dropping deep behind Lukaku, to punish No Respek if they overcommit.
If drawing: Afellay off, Costa on. Like for like, Afellay is replaced by a different style winger in Costa. Continue the gameplan and push for the win.
If losing: Howedes, Afellay and Melo off, Berbatov, Costa and Ganso on. Nagatomo drops back to LB, Zabaleta to RB. Ganso playing alongside Mkhitaryan, with Navas, Berbatov, Lukaku and Costa the front four. Playing 4-2-4 with the fullbacks getting forward as well.

------------- Dzagoev -- Isco ---------------
----------------- Soldado (c) ----------------
Team Talk: We're playing a team that have recently been taken over and have gone through a huge change in the past week with plenty of players making their debuts. They are vulnerable at the back and as such we are playing an attacking side with both Isco and Dzagoev playing. They are most son the wings, with this in mind we are playing Matuidi and Pogba to provide additional cover to our fullbacks against Schurrle and co. On the attack we will use Isco and Dzagoev to overwhelm them with our fullbacks getting forward to provide width. Soldado to blast us to victory and get our defence of our title back on target.
Caballero: Commando your box and claim all crosses that come in
Azpiliceuta/Alaba: You have permission to get forward and provide us with width, when you go forward Pogba and Matuidi will cover but make sure you get back so they can aid you against their dangerous wingers. Keep the energy up and own the wings.
Varane/Domínguez: Varane to pick up Benteke who is likely to play as a lone striker, use your energy against him and force him off the ball. I'd imagine they will go 4-2-3-1 so Domínguez to pick up Podolski who is likely to play as a CAM/SS. Communicate and ensure that you both know where the threat is coming from at all times.
Pogba/Matuidi: You're both playing a box to box role today which requires you to keep the energy up. If your fullback goes forward then cover for them and prevent TGS from breaking quickly on the wings, if your fullback hasn't gone forward then burst forward yourself and provide us with another option. When they have the ball then aid your fullback/pick up Maher who I'd presume will go box to box for them.
Alonso: You're playing your trademark DCM role where you can dictate play. Pick up their CAM/SS and aid Domínguez out. When we have the ball I want you to play your long passes to pick out our fullbacks as they burst forward as well as Dzagoev/Isco/Soldado. Dicate the game and we win!
Isco/Dzagoev: I want you to destroy them today, starting with Gundongan who will presumably play at DCM to counter one of you. I want you to drift around and cause a nuisance of yourselves. When you go wide look for the fullbacks on the overlap or drive at a diagonal and beat your man. When more central look to link up together and with Soldado to pass our way into a shooting position. Both feel free to have a shot and just cause a problem of yoursleves in general
Solado: First of all use your trademark movement to create room for Isco and Dzagoev to play in, secondly get on any crosses that come in from our attacking fullbacks. Finally score! We need a good win today to kick start our title defence and to ensure top division football once more next season.

Regardless of score at 75 mins - Matuidi off, Ménéz on. Go to 4-2-3-1 with Dzagoev moving out wide, him Ménéz and Isco to move around and bamboozle their tiring defence

- The German Team:
- ----------Friedal----------
Rhijn-Boateng-Rami(c)-Digne
----A.Maher-Gundogan----
Valencia---Podolski---Schurrle
-----------Benteke----------
Shawcross, Meier, Meyer, Chabolah, Fischer, Kiessling, Quaqliarella
A new reign at the German Team sees me back at the helm, I will bring a new dimension to this team which sees them lanquish at the bottom of the league, but we will fight to the end and give it our best to stay up..
We will play quick free flowing football playing quick, neat one twos to get in behind there defence and really have a go..
In goal is veteran shot stopper Brad Friedal, has seen his best days but on form is a very fine keeper. A great shot stopper and makes himself as big as possible to intimidate the strikers. Will come out for the high balls and what he cant catch he will look to punch clear. Look to set the quick wide players away early to set up quick counters if we are behind, if not hold on as long as poss to waste a bit of time especially near the end.
A solid back 4 led out out by new team captain Adil Rami, he sits spare in order to keep the defence right. He will watch for any forward breaking through and help Boateng with the striker, if Boateng loses the player he is marking then Rami is there to come in round and take him away from danger.. Rami will go up for corners. Boateng like said is the man marker, quick and solid CB will have to be wary of the lads movement so always stay 100% focussed, watch his movement even when we have the ball as quick breaks by them can easily happen, clear all the dannger away from our are and no fancy stuff today. The fullbacks like to attack, but I stress, ONE AT A TIME!! support the wingers by going to the outside, pass and move klooking for a return pass to get the crosses in, At very least take the fullback away allowing more space and freedom for the wingers to attack, when defending stay solid, stand tall and keep the wingers to the outside and away from our goal area.
Gundogan is the DM, he keeps it simple, he will keep there AM out of the game, stop him dictating play, watch him like a hawk and be onto him as soon as it looks as if he is going to get the ball. Intercept what he is going to do. Keep it simple and minimize there attacks, once the ball is won nice simple passes to those around him.Maher is the playmaker, he makes us tick in the heart of the the team. Picking the ball up from behind or from Gundogan, he will get it forward with nice defence splitting passes, look to feed Benteke into the gaps created by the CF to get him in on goal, or move it out wide to allow the wingers to sprint onto the ball and passed the fullbacks, he always follows his pass making himself available for a return ball.
Podolski plays just ahead of the two,he has endless enrgy and always on the move makiing it difficult for their DM to pick up, he has a free role today so can move out wide or drop deep to pick up the ball, but his main job today is to support Benteke as best as he can, he will look to create gaps for Maher etc to move into and when he recieves the ball he can look to pass into the gaps he has made.Look to make nicely timed runs into the box and look for knock downs/lay offs from Benteke and get in on goal look to hit the back of the net I want Podolski to track the DM if he comes forward
Schurrle and Valencia out wide are dangerous, Valencia has loads of pace so will drive at the LB looking to get to the bye line and get the crosses in for Benteke, with Rhijn behind at times the two will really have a go down the right, when Rhijn goes by Valencia has the choice of whether to feed the ball down to him or cut inside looking for Maher etc to pass and move into dangerous areas to get in on goal.Schurrle on the other side likes to shoot more so allow Digne to take the RB away this will give him time to cut in off his left and shoot with his right, a fantastic goal record and will look to add to this today, look to support Benteke as much as possible and use Maher to pass and move into ther box for the return pass with Valencia, Schurrle and Podolski getting support from the fullbacks its only fair they return the favour and supoport them when we defend, get back and track any defenders coming forward, or anyone else troubling the our young defenders.
Benteke is the perfect hitman, big and strong, great in the air with two good shooting boots, Will get loads of chances today from those around him and he must take them, look to get into space for them to pass into which will see him get away from defenders and in on goal. If he can then at least take his marker away freeing up space for other to move into, always on the last man and on his toes waiting for opportunities to pounce, they give him any freedom or space, he will score. If he is heavily marked at times tho, look to leap early and knock it down or lay it off for Podolski and Maher especially who will be suipporting. Big and powerful and shrugs passed defenders like they arent there..they will be in for a tough game

Formation: 4-3-3
Starting XI:
GK - Rene Adler

CB - Nevan Subotic
CB - David Luiz
LB - Marcel Schmelzer
RCM - Moussa Sissoko
CM - Lars Bender

Yarmolenko------------------------------Gaitan
---------------Mandzukic---------------------
Team Talk: Big game today lads, we're going to go out and look to nullify there threat down the middle, and hurt them with our wingplay. Arteta is the one in midfield to pull the strings, Sissoko adds power, Bender will be more restricted. The defence will play narrow, stopping them going through us in defence, but full backs can bomb on in attack. In attack the wingers will stay high, pinning there full backs back, and we will look to score many goals. Big chance to impress me today lads, lets go out and get a big win on the board!
Team Instructions:
Adler - Command the back four today. Anything floated up in the air, you come and get it. They will take shots from long range, so be ready, nothing will beat you from there if you keep your concentration. Look to distribute long to Mandzukic or through the full backs.
Carvajal and Schmelzer - Today in defence, you guys get narrow, as we expect no wingers. Don't let them get through you. Beware of the full backs bombing on however. When you get the ball off Adler, feed Arteta/Sissoko, who will get us started in attacks. You have license to bomb forward at every opportunity, and cause overlaps, allowing the wingers to cut inside.
Subotic and Luiz - The back four need to be in a good straight line, Subotic is our leader at the back and should control this. Luiz you play on the cover today, your best role. Subotic go and win headers. If they play two up top, pick up a man each. Luiz listen to me now, you do not go roaming leaving us short at the back. Get it? Good.
Bender, Sissoko and Arteta - Big roles for you three today. We expect them to maybe play four in midfield (with a CAM and 3 CM's), if they do, look to get the ball wide asap. Bender if they play a CAM, you drop a little deeper onto him, and cover that. You are the more defensive, the lynchpin, you sit back and allow the rest to attack. Sissoko you are providing the raw power, energy to the operation. You have free reign to make late bursts into the box in attack, but in defence get around as well. Arteta you look to make things tick, by getting it wide.
Yarmolenko and Gaitan - With the Full backs overlapping you, you have license to cut inside when on your starting flanks. That way you have either the full back for a cross, or shots from yourselves. Mix it up. They have attacking full backs, but I want you two to stay high up the pitch at all times. Do not follow them back. If they go, we create a mismatch and we use that to our advantage. If they don't, we nullify a big part of there attack.
Mandzukic - Big role for you today and you play it amazingly well. If we have to go long quickly, we hit you. You must hold the ball up, so it allows us to relieve some pressure. When holding it up, look to hit Areta or the wingers. We will look to get crosses in, you are a great header of the ball, so look to pinch us some goals to win us the game.

Captain: Vidic
Free kicks and Corners: Rodriguez
Penalties: Rodriguez
Italians: Buffon, Barzagli, Marchisio, Motta, Buffon, De Sciglio, Cassano
Team talk:
Today we are targeting control of the midfield in order to control the game. We are also playing Ivanovic at RB and two CBs to give more aerial threat at set pieces as this we this is an area of Cervezas that we think can be exploited.
Keeper Stand tall, come for crosses that are close to you making them need to aim crosses further out. Distribute short as much as possible. Be on your toes for balls in behind the defence and sweep them up.
Full backs You are part of a unit, so keep your shape and defend together. Pick up any wide players , keep tight and force them to cross from wide and deep as much as possible. Get forward when you have the chance, get forward, support the attack, overlapping and getting low balls in between keeper and defence. Ivanovic go forward for all corners and attacking free kicks
CBs – Vidic will pick up the main striker, Barzagli will pick up any second striker if there is one. If not, he will play spare, sweeping up, plus tracking any midfield runners into the box. Both will go forward for corners and set pieces.
CMs –. Motta will sit and break up opposition attacks and protect the back four.. Marchisio to provide the drive and energy in midfield, covering every blade of grass. Provide a base to control the game and feed the three AMs.Marchisio can get forward for shots on the goal from just outside the box.
AMs – A fast moving, skilful trio tiday. Keep passing and moving. Interchange and play off each other. Run at the defence and make them turn. Cut in and allow the FBs to overlap. Plenty of tricks as free kicks in around the box will be a bonus! Get balls in behind the defence for Villa to run onto or crosses low behind the CBs and across the face of the keeper. When not in possession, get in support of Villa. Defensively as soon as we lose the ball, you pressurise the ball. J-Rod – aim set pieces for the big men in the box. Draxler – if Alves plays, get at him or the space he leaves behind. Track back and support Cole defensively.
Villa – focal point of the attack. Play off the shoulder and look to get in behind. When the ball is out wide, the ball will be coming in low and fast so look to get on the end of it. Defensively, pressurise the ball as soon as we lose it.
Substitutions:

Injuries: Miralem Pjanic, Pablo Zabaleta3-4-3
Sergio Asenjo (SPA)
Benedikt Howedes - Mats Hummels - Victor Ruiz (SPA)
Dani Alves - Felipe Melo - Henrikh Mkhitaryan - Yuto Nagatomo
Jesus Navas (SPA) - Romelu Lukaku - Theo Walcott
Subs: Andres Prieto (SPA), Ashley Williams, Christian Fuchs, Gael Bigirimana, Mateo Kovacic, Douglas Costa, Dimitar Berbatov
Manager's note: I feel we can get at Under Brescia today, I feel the pace upfront and out wide can exploit the fullbacks of Brescia. Ashley Cole against Jesus Navas and an overlapping Dani Alves is our target. Go two on one and get crosses or even shots in. Same on the other side with Walcott and Nagatomo against Arbeloa.
Asenjo, command your area, stay in communication with your CB's, distribute to the wingbacks.
Howedes/Hummels/Ruiz, work as a unit, they'll have Villa up front so Hummels bully him throughout and Howedes and Ruiz work on Robben and Rodriguez. The wingbacks without the ball will help out with their wingers.
Alves/Nagatomo, with the ball I want you two to use your pace and get forward, double up on the Brescia fullbacks with Navas/Walcott. Get crosses in and link up with the midfield. Without the ball, drop back to form a back five and give help to the defence.
Melo/Mkhitaryan, Melo to be our sitting DM, disrupt any build through the middle, it is expected Draxler could play at AM, if he is then track him everywhere, if not then wait for Marchisio to burst forward from midfield and "greet him". Mkhitaryan to control the middle, they're missing Pirlo so they will be more direct. I want you to be the creative CM who pushes forward to exploit the space behind Marchisio when he gets forward, Motta will likely be there when you get there so use the wingers and wingbacks to pass Motta out of the game.
Navas/Lukaku/Walcott, front three of terrific pace, Navas to stick at RW and target Cole with Alves overlapping. Walcott a right footer at LW, cut inside but use Nagatomo's overlap, on occasion switch with Lukaku. If Lukaku is tightly marked, drop to LW where you've played frequently for WBA and allow Walcott to burst into the area exploiting the space in behind Lukaku's marker. Lukaku to primarily be our CF, outjump and outmuscle the ageing Vidic, outpace him if needbe, shoot on sight.
Subs 70 mins:
If winning: Bigirimana on, Navas off. Change to 3-5-2 with an extra DM, leave Walcott and Lukaku as a lethal counter attacking front two.
If drawing: Mkhitaryan off, Kovacic on. Like for like in formation terms, but a more natural deep playmaker on the pitch.
If losing: Melo and Howedes off, Kovacic and Costa on. Costa to LW, Walcott joins Lukaku at CF. Formation is a bold 2-4-4, but if we score the wingbacks and wingers drop back to make it 4-4-2.[/

This is a though game but we need to go out there in right mind and play some nice football , i want you to press high and make them cause mistakes, we must take every chance given as this one will be hard but if we focus well we can take it , play dirty push them round tackle hard do not take no for an answer , we need to watch Mandz he will be key and hence being an old player for me i am warning you he is a danger do not allow him to pass, make sure he is marked and pushed around, MAKE SURE HE FAILS TO SCORE!
INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTIONS:
GK - Butland – let the CBs know if you can claim the ball or if there is danger lurking around. Parry shots away from danger, try to catch the ball but punch to distance if you need to.
Defending: you have good chemistry as you are the dortmund back 4 so Lots of communication needed along are back four, soak up the long balls that i played and make sure they are not allowed to break through, keep the line tight and clear any loose balls, dont allow players to beat you and push them about and make sure you give them a lot of hassle , beware of crosses and make sure they are given limited space to move, be aware of Walcott, Ivan and Huntlaar there key players and make sure he's passes are stopped,Walker ensure the LW is nullified, dont allow them to cross, Baines concetrate keep tight on the winger block when ever you can, you can attack but make sure to get back into postion. Bonucci you will pick up second striekr if they play one be slightly deeper then Chiellini covering for him. Chiellini keep tight on the number 1 striker dont allow him to push you around get physical beat him to every ball.
CM - Wanyama – you have two jobs: to get stuck in and put them off their game physically, and to keep the ball moving – get the ball to Carrick or Molto, and find eriksen and Pato in space. Be wary of anyone playing in the hole – if the opponents play an AM, stick to him tight and don’t let him play.
CM – Carrick – your job is to sit deep, control the play, and support the attack with your trademark through balls. You have a great range of passing – use it to feed reus in and to help him try and get our strikers in , and get the ball slid in for defo and patos runs at goal.
CM – Giggs – I want you to help Wanyama defensively, and to help Carrick with setting up attacks. You can drop deep, move wide, do whatever you have to get the ball moving and the opposition tired. Your main task is to get balls forward to Reus/pato/Defoe and dont be afraid to slide in hard goes for all of the players make sure they struggle and that they are pushed around
AM – reus – You have a free role today and our a key man in our creativity– get into space, get the ball, run at the defence and into the gaps created by pato and defoe I want you to attack the defence, get through them, and get shots on goal.

Dzagoev -------- Isco ------------ Ménez
------------- Soldado (c) ---------------
Team Talk - Today we play a side who have found results hard to come by recently but have also bought in Reus this week. With this in mind we have gone back to our favoured 4-3-2-1 with two strong fullbacks protected by the wingers. We can definitely get a result today by keeping it simple and playing it our way Alonso and Matuidi to prove us with a solid foundation that will allow our wingers to really attack their fullbacks. Both of their fullbacks will look to get forward so there will be plenty of room for us to exploit. Isco and Soldado to combine in the center and create huge problems for their defensive core. We must get a win today, no excuses.
Cabellero - Control the box, claim any crosses that come in
Jallet/Alaba - As mentioned in the team talk they have Reus who will presumably look to roam/or they will play with two out and out wingers. Make sure you stay back and cover for this. When we have the ball you have permission to get forward and go outside the wingers to really hurt them
Varane/Garay - You are two of the best defenders currently in Europe, with that in mind I want you to work together to nullify their striker. Varane to stick to him and mark him out of the game. Garay to pick up their SS (Reus maybe) or any runners from deep. We must keep a clean sheet today
Alonso - Play your natural game. When they have the ball I want you to protect our back four, use all of your experience to ensure we are never outnumbered. As soon as we get the ball look to play your beautiful passes either to the wings or to Isco/Soldado. If we control the midfield we win today
Matuidi - You're going box to box today, use your strength to pulverize their midfield. When they have the ball sit in alongside Alonso and prevent them from playing. When we get it look to surge forward as an extra option for us
Dzagoev/Ménez - I want you to drive inside to provide room for our fullbacks to get into. Both of you are incredibly dangerous when you come inside hence your roles today. Isco is in the middle so link up with him. Big big games for the pair of you today
Isco - Operate in between the lines and utlise the space that Soldado will
provide you with. Look to pick up the passes from Alonso before slotting
it through to Soldado. If you get a sniff feel free to have a pop. I'd
imagine they will look to mark you closely so drift around and pull him
out of position which again will give us room to work in. When you drift don't be afraid to almost switch positions with Dzagoev or Ménez to bamboozle the markers
Soldado -First of all use your trademark movement to create room for Isco, Dzagoev and Ménez to play in, secondly get on any crosses that come in from our
attacking fullbacks. Finally score! A win is essential today!

Re: Tactics
Dos Cervezas por favour v The German Team
- Dos Cervezas por favour:
- Injuries: Javier Manquillo, Henrikh Mkhitaryan
[color=black]3-5-2
Sergio Asenjo (SPA)
Pablo Zabaleta - Mats Hummels - Benedikt Howedes
Dani Alves - Felipe Melo - Mateo Kovacic - Jordi Alba (SPA)
Miralem Pjanic
Theo Walcott - Romelu Lukaku
Subs: Andres Prieto (SPA), Victor Ruiz (SPA), Christian Fuchs, Ronaldinho, Douglas Costa, Markel Susaeta (SPA), Dimitar Berbatov
Manager's note: Still in with a great chance of securing Premier League football for Season 3, I want us to get at the German Team today. They will likely play a form of 4-4-2 with wingers in Schurrle and Valencia. Our 3-5-2 is bold yet sensible with a very solid back three and two attacking fullbacks at wingback. Without the ball it will be 5-3-2 but with the ball revert back to 3-5-2. Alves and Alba to bomb forward whenever we have the ball and become wingers, get crosses and through balls in for Lukaku, Walcott and Pjanic. In Lukaku, Walcott, Alves and Alba we have four very quick players going forward. Use this to play the ball in behind the German Team's defence and punish them.
Asenjo, command your area, stay in communication with your CB's, distribute to the wingbacks.
Zabaleta/Hummels/Howedes, work as a unit, they're missing Benteke Fried Chicken up front this week so all three of you to remain zonal as tracking forwards got us into trouble last week. Wait for the German Team to attack near you and defend what's in front of you rather than what might happen.
Alves/Alba, with the ball I want you two to use your pace and get forward, target the German Team fullbacks. Get crosses in and link up with the midfield and strikers. Without the ball, drop back to form a back five and give help to the defence. Make runs in behind and try to beat the offside trap.
Melo/Kovacic/Pjanic, Melo to be our sitting DM, disrupt any build through the middle, if they play an AM then track him everywhere, if not then wait for players to burst forward from midfield beat them to the ball. Kovacic to control the middle, I want you to be the creative CM who pushes forward on occasion but mainly be a deep lying playmaker. Watch the runs of the wingbacks and strikers and pick a pass in behind. Pjanic to be the out and out AM for us, the link from midfield to attack. Get the ball from deep on occasion, look to pick out the wingbacks or the strikers making runs in behind.
Walcott/Lukaku, work hard and link together. Take turns in running in the channel, and look for your partner getting into the area. I want you to use your pace advantages to our benefit, both of you are accomplished finishers and I expect your speed to be able to create several chances. Don't get caught offside.
Subs 70 mins:
If winning: No changes, but Alba drops to LB, Zabaleta moves to RB and we play 4-5-1, with Walcott to LW and Alves at RW.
If drawing: Pjanic off, Berbatov on. 3-5-2 becomes a more direct 3-4-1-2 with Berba in behind the strikers, push for the win.
If losing: Melo off, Berbatov on. 3-5-2 becomes 3-4-3, Walcott RF, Lukaku LF and Berba CF. Push for goals with 3-4-1-2 the system if we get level.
- The German Team:
--------------Friedal--------------
Boateng-N'Koulou-A.Rami(c)-L.Digne
--------Gonalons--Gundogan-------
Valencia-------Maher-------Schurrle
-------------Kiessling-------------
Rhijn, Chabolah, Meyer, Vischer, Podolski, Quaqliarella
In goal the vastly experienced Friedal, makes himself as big as possible and closes down strikers early, an intimmidating goalkeeper and very vocal to keep his defenders right. Will release early for quick copunters
A solid back 4, after being left a little exposed last week, Nkoulou comes in to replace Rhijn with Boateng going to RB, The two CBs will form a solid partnership with Nkoulou picking up the main striker, watch his every move and will be onto him quickly, leaving Rami spare, he will always be minful that the CF may get away from Nkoulou so will take a step back and be ready to sweep behind his partner to clear the danger. Both wuill attck high balls and remove any danger coming there way. Boateng and Digne will be solid at fullback, only attacking when uin no danger. Defend the lines and keep wingers to the outside and away from danger, also keep there crosses in to a minimum. When attacking get down the wing and to theoutside of the winger making that extra man for there fullback to deal with, if they get the ball back then whip in a cross, otherwise take the FB away freeing up more space for Schurrle and Valencia.
Gonalons is the DM, nice and simple for him today, mark the AM into oblivion. be on him quickly and do not allow him to dictate play. Always keep an eye on his movement and look to intercept any balls forward from him. Once ball is won nice simple ballas to those around him. Gundogan makes us tick, his passing range is excellent so will be looking to spray it about with ease, out to the winges or through to the two in front of him, always follows his pass making himself available for a return ball. When defending sit alongside Gonalons to help break up play. Maher in front is the attacking oneout of the three, always on themove screaming for the ball, turning on a sixpence to get away from his marker, can go out wide to cause havoc or gets right into the box to support Kiessling. Will look to set Kiessling up with dinks over the top or splitting the defence for him to run through, once he has passed tthe ball away make his way into the box for any knock downs, lay offs or indeed mistakes from defenders/goalkeeper. Will defend his lines well and keep an eye on there DM coming forward.
Valencia and Schurrle out wide have freedom to attack at will today, use pace and skill to get them beyond the defenders and get the balls in for Kiessling which the big target man will relish. Use Maher and Gundogan for quick one twos to get the ball down to the bye line so they can whip it in or cut inside to drive into the box and have a go themselves at goal, always look to take men on and if it doesnt work keep trying, it will come eventually. Defend thelines by makig a solid bank of 5 in the middle and dont allow there fullbacks any time or room to drive forward.
Kiessling comes in for the injured Benteke looking to stamp his authority on the game and pressurize Fan into some serious team selctions. A big man who is fantastic in the air, times his runs and jumps to perfection so will thrive off the balls in from Valencia and Schurrle, get up early and out jump the CB marking him or take as tep off him to allow himself more room. If he cant go for goal thern look to use power to hold off defenders and lay it off for Maher and Shcurrle in particular to allow them in on goal. ALways on the last foot and moving around as the ball comes forward to be quick off the mark and a step ahead of the defender.
Captain:- Rami
Penalties:- Kiessling
Free Kicks:- Gundogan
Corners:- Wingers
Subs:-
Losing/drawing
65 Mins:- Podolski > Maher, he goes LW and Shcurrle supports Kiessling
75 Mins:- Quagliarella > Kiessling fresh legs up front
80 Mins:- Vischer > Valencia
Winning:-
70 Mins: Podolski > Schurrle
80 Mins: Chabolah > Maher will sit in a bit alongside Gonalons, solid mid 3
85 Mins:-Quagliarella > Kiessling fresh legs wind it down and hold it up in dying minutes

Subs: Perin, Ledesma, Draxler, Florenzi, Kehl, Cassano, Locadia

Italians: Buffon, De Sciglio, Marchisio, Motta, Pirlo Perin, Florenzi, Cassano
Team talk:
Today we are targeting control of the midfield in order to control the game. Attack wise, we will keep possession of the ball and play a patient build up. The attacking three will keep moving and stretch the defence, and keep options available for passes. They will interchange, with J-Rod and Villa rotating the central role, and all three rotating the wide roles.
Defensively, we press high up the pitch and win the ball back as early as possible. Motta and Pirlo will stay deeper and sit in front of the CBs to protect them. We will try to use Marquinhos’ pace, strength and energy to stay tight to Mandzukic, whilst if playing, we will task Motta with tracking Michu.
GK Stand tall, come for crosses that are close to you making them need to aim crosses further out. Distribute short as much as possible. Be on your toes for balls in behind the defence and sweep them up.
FBs You are part of a unit, so keep your shape and defend together. Pick up any wide players , keep tight and force them to cross from wide and deep as much as possible. Get forward when you have the chance, although not at the same time. Overlap and get low balls in between keeper and defence. Ivanovic go forward for all corners and attacking free kicks
CBs – Marquinhos will pick up Mandzukic (or the main striker if Mad Man is not playing). Stick tight and follow him everywhere. Use your pace and anticipation to beat him to every ball. Mascherano will pick up a second striker if there is one, otherwise he will play spare and sweep everything up, and pick up any free runners from midfield.
Mids –. Motta and Pirlo will sit and break up opposition attacks and protect the back four. Motta will also track Michu if he is playing AM/SS to nullify his runs into the box. Marchisio to provide the drive and energy in midfield, covering every blade of grass. Offensively, all three will look to retain possession, with Pirlo dictating the game.
Wide attackers – Firstly the front three will interchange, especially J-Rod and Villa, who will share the main striker role between them. Fast moving and skilful today. Keep passing and moving. Interchange and play off each other. Run at the defence and make them turn. Cut in and allow the FBs to overlap. Get balls in behind the defence for the central striker to run onto or crosses low behind the CBs and across the face of the keeper. When not in possession, get in support of the central striker. Defensively as soon as we lose the ball, you pressurise the ball. Track back and support the FBs.
Central attacker – focal point of the attack. Play off the shoulder and look to get in behind. When the ball is out wide, the ball will be coming in low and fast so look to get on the end of it. Defensively, pressurise the ball as soon as we lose it.

Team Talk: Big game today lads, and we're going all out for the win! I want us to exploit there defensive injuries by adding a lot of attacking players, to play with a real tempo and zest in attack! The two up top offer not only a physical presence, but also a technical one, with Ben Arfa slotting in behind to cause havoc. The wingers and full backs need to get forward and back, providing lots of crosses/shots. Luiz to sit in the CDM role, when the full backs go forward, he must sit, but when they don't he can push on and shoot. CB's dominate the strikers. Lets go for the win with sharp incisive attacking today boys!
Team Instructions:
Adler - Command the back four today. Anything floated up in the air, you come and get it. They will take shots from long range, so be ready, nothing will beat you from there if you keep your concentration. Look to distribute long to Mandzukic or through the full backs.
Jung and Schmelzer - Today in defence, you guys get narrow, Don't let them get through you. Show the wingers the line, our CB's can deal with crosses. When you get the ball off Adler, feed Ben Arfa or your winger, who will get us started in attacks. You have license to bomb forward at every opportunity, and cause overlaps, allowing the wingers to cut inside. But choose wisely when you commit.
Subotic and Godin - The back four need to be in a good straight line, Subotic is our leader at the back and should control this. Godin you play on the cover today. Subotic go and win headers. If they play two up top, pick up a man each. When you have the ball get it out wide quick, or to Ben Arfa.
Luiz - Moved to the CDM role today, they like to play a CAM, so pick him up when they attack, and look to nullify him. When we attack, if the FB's have bombed on, you sit. If they haven't you can get forward, and look to shoot when you can. When you pick up the ball, get it out wide quickly or look to feed Ben Arfa to feet.
Yarmolenko and Gaitan - Big roles today. With them weakened at full back we will be looking to get wide, I want you two to pick it up and drive forward at every opportunity. If the full back is overlapping, cut inside and either shoot, or play the full back in. If the full back isn't overlapping, mix it up and hit the byline and cross, or look for Ben Afra/Luiz who can shoot. You must also track back, and help your FB out in defence.
Ben Arfa - A free role today in attack. Look to drift into space, pick the ball up, and run at the defence, and play the killer pass. In defence we want you to pick up there deepest midfielder/playmaker, and put him off his game. But your main role today is to create as many chances as possible, or shoot if the space opens up.
Mandzukic/Michu - Today boys you will score us plenty of goals! Michu I want you to play your natural game, which is maybe dropping deeper at times, and finding space. However make sure you make the box for the crosses! Mandzukic I want you to be yourself, work hard for the team, dominate the CB you face, and then score us the goals to win us the game!
Set pieces
Free kicks - Luiz
Corners - Ben Arfa
Pelanties - Michu
Substitutions:
If winning: 70 mins - Carvajal for Jung, Sterling for Yarmolenko, Arteta for Ben Arfa. Fresh legs, and Arteta to drop into CM, Michu to CAM, to make it a 4-4-1-1.
If losing/drawing: 70 mins - Yarmolenko for Sissoko, Gaitan for Arteta, go to 4-1-2-1-2 narrow. Batter our way through the middle!

------------------ Caballero -------------
Azpiliceuta --- Garay --- Varane --- Alaba
------------- Alonso --- Pogba ----------
----------------- Dzagoev --------------
Ménez ---------- Soldado ------- Lavezzi
Team Talk: Huge game this week not only for Spanish pride but also for ensuring that we finish 2nd in the league and prove that our first season league victory was no fluke. With this in mind we have gone quite aggressive with new signing Lavezzi ready to terrorize their flanks. Cervezas have quite attacking fullbacks so this will provide space for Lavezzi and Ménez to exploit. Defensively we've gone with Dzagoev being further back, this will ensure we are never outnumbered but still having that creative flair to unleash the wingers. Alonso to play his trademark passes out wide as well.
Caballero - Control the box, get the ball to Dzagoev or Alonso quickly
Azpiliceuta/Alaba - The focus has to be on defence today, they are very dangerous on the wings and will try and overload with their fullbacks. Force them outside so they are reduced to crossing where we have Garay/Varane who are both very strong in the air
Garay/Varane - Garay to pick up Lukaku and nerf him, you are a great CB and have the ability to mark him completely out of the game. This leaves Varane free to sweep and pick up any runners from deep
Pogba - Use your energy to pick up their SS/CAM (Probably James Rodriguez) and make it a tough game for him. Every time he gets near the ball I want you all over him, nibble away and knock him off his game. When we have the ball give an option for us to pass our way around them. Keep the energy up all game!
Alonso - With Pogba providing the energy you can sit and dictate the play. When they have the ball pick up Mkhitaryan (if he plays) and prevent him from asserting himself. As soon as we get the ball look to unleash our wingers. Play your beautiful passes and win us the game
Dzagoev - As mentioned in the team talk you are further back today but your role is essential to us, provide us with that creative spark in the center. Playing deep will also drag their DCM out of place which will allow room for Soldado to operate in. When you get forward pick something out of your box of tricks. With Isco out this is your chance to cement a place as our number 10!
Lavezzi/Ménez - You are out and out wingers today bordering on wide forwards. With this I want you to terrorize their fullbacks, as mentioned in the team talk they have attacking fullbacks who will have to either stay back or provide you with all the room in the world. Look to pick up the ball and drive inside into the space Soldado provides us with, when you come inside link up with Dzagoev as well. If you do go out wide then whip in some crosses for Soldado to keep them guessing
Soldado - Captain fantastic up front providing us with room to play in as always! Look to drift and even drop into the space between you and Dzagoev so Lavezzi and Ménez can be at their most dangerous. If you get a sniff of goal then take it, at the end of the day if we score and keep a clean sheet we win!

If winning at 65 minutes: Azpiliceuta and Alaba off - Jallet and Monreal on. More defensive minded fullbacks to see the game out.
- Dos Cervezas por favor:
- Injuries: Jordi Alba, Klass-Jan Huntelaar4-5-1
Sergio Asenjo (SPA)
Pablo Zabaleta - Benedikt Howedes - Nemanja Vidic - Ismaily
Oriol Romeu (SPA)
Theo Walcott - Henrikh Mkhitaryan - Miralem Pjanic - James Rodriguez
Romelu Lukaku
Subs: Andres Prieto (SPA), Victor Ruiz (SPA), Dani Alves, Gael Bigirimana, Mateo Kovacic, Markel Susaeta (SPA), Thierry Henry
Spanish derby today, and while we're missing two big players with injury I expect our squad to cope well. Our aim is to exploit their attacking fullbacks with the pace of Walcott and Rodriguez, and control the middle of the park with Pjanic and Mkhitaryan.
The Chorizo injuries are Isco and Matuidi, we expect them to line up as follows;Caballero
Azpilicueta - Varane - Garay - Alaba
Pogba - Alonso
Menez - Dzagoev - Lavezzi
Soldado
Asenjo, command your area, stay in communication with your defence, be confident in coming for crosses and stay big for one on ones.
Howedes/Vidic, Vidic to target Soldado, don't let him win a single header. If he gets the ball to feet, force him away from goal and keep him facing away from goal. Don't let him turn and use your strength to stop him, don't slide in. Howedes to be the spare man and watch for Dzagoev making runs into the area or either winger cutting inside.
Zabaleta/Ismaily, Zabaleta knows Lavezzi as both Argentine internationals, so force him wide on his weaker left foot. He loves to cut inside and that's where he's at his best, never show him inside. Ismaily to do a similar job on Menez but he is more conventional at RW, show him outside but stay tight and block the cross at source. Both wingers have pace so use your heads and drop 5 yards deep when Alonso has the ball to have a headstart if the ball is over the top.
Romeu, our DM. Sit infront of the back four and break up the Chorizo play. Don't man mark Dzagoev, stay zonal. Whoever ends up at AM you tackle. When on the ball, supply Mkhitaryan and/or Pjanic.
Mkhitaryan/Pjanic, control the ball for us. Mkhitaryan to be the deeper of the AM's, help out Romeu if under pressure but be the deep playmaker as you can be, Pjanic to be the orthadox AM. Occupy their DM (Pogba), if he isn't marking you then capitalise. Make him focus on you. When the wingers have the ball, both of you play AM and outnumber the DM. Don't expect Alonso to defend well as he hasn't been anything more than a playmaker for months.
Walcott/Rodriguez, work the flanks. When we're under severe pressure I want you to drop back and help your fullback, but with the ball target the advancing Alaba/Azpilicueta and utilise the space in behind. Defending isn't a strong point for either player. Get crosses in to Lukaku, cut inside and shoot, link with Pjanic/Mkhitaryan, and when one of you is on the wing with the ball, the other get into the box to be a second striker to Lukaku.
Lukaku, look to feed off of the wingers and AM's providing chances and passes to you. With Varane and Garay as their likely CB’s, neither has the power to stop you outmuscling them and neither has the pace to catch you. Bully them, turn them and get in behind whenever the ball is played over the top. Be your usual self with finishing.
Subs 70 mins:
If winning: Pjanic and Mkhitaryan off, Bigirimana and Ruiz on. Extra DM and CB, the 4-5-1 becomes 5-4-1. Close out the game but use the pacy wingers to counter attack.
If drawing: No change, push for the win.
If losing: Romeu and Zabaleta off, Alves and Ruiz on. Ruiz to CB with Vidic and Howedes, Alves and Ismaily to wingback, Pjanic and Mkhitaryan at CM, front three of Walcott, Lukaku and Rodriguez. 4-5-1 becomes attacking 3-4-3.

Re: Tactics
No Respek v Under Brescia
- No Respek:
- FC No Respek line-up:
-------------------------- FOSTER ------------------------
WALKER ----- TASCI ------- MEXES ------ COLE
------------- KEHL ------------- WILSHERE ----------
ZAHA ----------------- KROOS ----------- ERIKSEN
------------------------ FELLAINI -----------------------
Subs: Butland, Zaccardo, Shaw, Strootman, Wanyama, Totti, Pato
Injuries: Jakub Blaszczykowski + Jermaine Defoe
TEAM TALK:
I'm back from my medically-enforced hiatus, and ready to lead you lads to victory once more. So we're already relegated, that's okay. Now is the time to get our club back on its feet, by beating the Champions! Under Brescia are a good team, but not unbeatable. You all have great ability, and I'm looking for a big performance from you to show me what you can do. And you, big man. Oi, Fellaini! Stop listening to Abba in my dressing room! You're the key to victory today, get out there, bulldoze your marker and win us the game lad. This is the time to show the whole league that you're a top player. Let's make you the talk of the town tonight!
TACTICAL SUMMARY:
1. Keep possession so that Under Brescia can’t settle, Wilshere to dictate the tempo
2. FBs to push up to support the wingers and all four to get crosses in to Fellaini
3. Fellaini to bully his marker and dominate the game with his physicality
DEFENCE TACTICS:
* Foster must marshal the defence and ensure that everyone knows where their opponents are; when you have the ball punt it long for Fellaini and Kroos
* Tasci to man-mark the main striker, Mexes to support him, both to play a simple game – stop your opponent, get the ball long to Fellaini and Kroos
* Walker and Cole to keep the wingers out wide, stand up to them, ensure they can’t get balls in to the box
* Kehl to sit on whoever the Under Brescia AM is and man-mark him out of the game
ATTACK TACTICS:
* Fellaini to play as the target man, use your heading ability and great close control to get the ball on the deck and bring others into play. When balls are crossed in from wide get ahead of your marker and get a header on target
* Zaha and Eriksen to beat their men for pace and get crosses into Fellaini; Walker and Cole are to support them going forward
* Wilshere will dictate the tempo of the game, draw the opposition towards him and find teammates with clever passes that will spring an attack
* Kroos is to link up with Fellaini, chase knock-downs, link up with Wilshere in the middle, and drift to wherever he can get on the ball and make a difference with a pass or shot
Substitutions:
If losing after 75mins: Pato and Shaw for Kehl and Cole. Shaw replaces Cole at LB and blitzes his flank with his pace; Pato moves up front and works alongside Fellaini to create chances. Kroos will drop back to partner Wilshere in a 4-2-2-2 formation.
If drawing after 75mins: Strootman for Kehl. Strootman to create chances, Wilshere to get forward more to support Kroos and Fellaini.
If winning after 75mins: Wanyama for Kehl. Same tactics and formation, Wanyama’s fresh legs should help us close out the game.

Captain: Pirlo
Free kicks and Corners: Pirlo

Team talk:
We go with very attacking FBs, a CM trio to control the ball and wide attackers who keep moving around a centre forward as the focal point.
Attack wise, we have will keep possession of the ball and play a patient build up. The attacking three will keep moving and stretch the defence, and keep options available for passes. The wingers will interchange to keep the full backs guessing. Our full backs will bomb on to overlap and provide attacking width.
Defensively, we press high up the pitch and win the ball back as early as possible. The midfield three will stay deeper, sitting in front of the CBs to protect them. They also cover for the attacking mind set of our full backs. They also support the FBs to stop them being doubled up on.
GK Stand tall, come for crosses that are close to you making them need to aim crosses further out. Distribute short as much as possible. Be on your toes for balls in behind the defence and sweep them up.
FBs Today you are attackers as much as defenders. When you are back, pick up your winger and keep them facing away from goal. But as soon as you have the opportunity to attack, do it! Overlap the wide attackers, allowing them to drift into inside forward positions, and get crosses across the face of the keeper.
CBs – Hummels will pick up the main striker. Ivanovic will pick up any second striker, or play spare. He will sweep up loose balls and watch for runners from midfield.
Mids –. All three will sit slightly deeper to dictate the tempo and to protect the defence and allow the FBs to bomb on. Masch will be the enforcer breaking up attacks and making a nuisance of himself. Pirlo and Marchisio will support Masch defensively. Pirlo will look to get on the ball and retain possession and dictate play, whilst Marchisio will play box to box. Patience is key, and when a chance arises, we look to capitalise.
Wide attackers – You will play free-ish roles today. Starting wide, you can drift inside into the channel between CB and FB. Get on the ball and run at the defence, turn them inside and out. Interchange between yourselves to keep the defenders guessing. The FBs will overlap, so move inside and create space for them. Defensively, pressurise the ball as soon as we lose it
Centre Forward – focal point of the attack. Play off the shoulder and look to get in behind. When the ball is out wide, the ball will be coming across the keeper, and your job is to get on the end of it. Defensively, pressurise the ball as soon as we lose it.
Substitutions:

Re: Tactics
The German Team v Bratwurst Mannschaft
- The German Team:
-------------Ahamada----------------
Danilo--Boateng--Adil Rami--L.Digne
-------Gonalons----Gundogan---------
---------------Maher------------------
Sanchez----------------------Podolski
--------------Benteke----------------
Friedal, Rhijn, Leitner, Holtby, Fischer, Quaqliarella, Kramaric
Ali Ahamada comes in for Grandad Friedal, the young Frenchman has shown he has cat like reflexes and his shot stopping is excellent. I want him to come out for high balls and punch clear what he cant catch. Quick off his line so he can shut down the forwards and reduce there shooting angles.
Fullbacks are quick and like to attack and support the wingers. Both will bomb up and down the line as there energy is fantastic. Get on the outside and either scream for the ball to cross it in for benteke and Co or at the very least look to take there fullback away freeing up room for Podloski and Sanchez to move into. When defending, keep the back 4 tight and the wingers to the outside, stand tall and dont do anything silly like diving in,. Boateng and Rami form a solid partnership. Boateng man marks the CF whilst Rami sits spapare watching any other danger coming through. When Boateng is paying attention to the CF Rami must be ready to sweep in behind in case the CF gets away from Boateng. Its will then be upto him to stop the threat coming through. If Boateng is fine the Rami sits a step back to watch for any other danger coming through. Boateng man marks, always 100% focussed on the job at hand. Keep his eyes open at all times watching his movement and look to intercept his movement and stop him becoming a threat. Both attack high balls and clear the danger.
Gonalons is the main DM, he sets about stop there Am dictating play, always in his face trying to pressurize him into mistakes and loose passes, force him backwards and look to stop the ball going into dangerous positions, once the ball is won simple balls to those asround him. One of which is Gundogan, the playmaker along with Maher will make us tick in the centre of the pitch, his vision for a pass is superb and will look to get the front 3 in on goal, will always pass forward and follow his pass making himself avaiolable for a return, When they have, sit alongside Gonalons and help break up play.
Maher sits just in front of them, he is the one that will make the runs into the box and support Benteke and look for his knockdowns and lay offs, quick and skillfull will look to take on the DM and make his way into the box, can shoot from diastance so have a pop. also when he has the ball look to play one twos with the wingers and Gundog to get themselves beyond the defenders. Again when defending watch the DM and stop him moving forward.
Sanchez and Podolski are massive goal threats from outwide, both like to cut inside and take there men on cut in off there outside foot qand shoot witht the other, quick balls into Benteke and look for a return which he is great at. If not then drive at the fullbacks with help from behind and get the crosses in to the danger area/ Always on the move and causing confusion in the defence as they can go wide or inside,. Helpd track back and defend v there fullbacks coming forward.
Benteke up top, a beast, goes through defenders like a bulldozer, has great skill for a powerful man and with those around him plenty of support. Always on the last foot but moving across the line ready to pounce and get in on goal. If he cant go look to theos behind making runs, hold off the defenders and lay it off or for high balls knoc it down or flick it on for them to run onto.

Team talk innit: We can definitely get a result today by keeping it simple and playing it our way Khedira and Arteta to prove us with a solid foundation that will allow our wingers to really attack their fullbacks. Both of their fullbacks will look to get forward so there will be plenty of room for us to exploit. Michu and Mandzukicto combine in the center and create huge problems for their defensive core. We must get a win today, no excuses.
Team Instructions innit:
Adler - Command the back four today. Anything floated up in the air, you come and get it. They will take shots from long range, so be ready, nothing will beat you from there if you keep your concentration. Look to distribute long to Mandzukic or through the full backs.
Carvajal/Schmelzer - They will play with two out and out wingers. Make sure you stay back and cover for this. When we have the ball you have permission to get forward and go outside the wingers to really hurt them. Look to pick up the ball off the GK and hit Arteta, who will dictate.
Subotic and Godin - The back four need to be in a good straight line, Subotic is our leader at the back and should control this. Godin you play on the cover today. Subotic go and win headers. If they play two up top, pick up a man each. When you have the ball get it out wide quick, or to Arteta.
Khedira and Arteta - Big role for you two today. You must be disciplined in your defensive duties, and when we do attack look to get it out wide quick and make the box. Khedira you will sit a little deeper, to protect the back four when they attack, on the ball look to feed Arteta. Arteta you pull the strings today, look to feed the wingers or Michu.
Reus and Gaitan - I want you to drive inside to provide room for our fullbacks to get into. Both of you are incredibly dangerous when you come inside hence your roles today. Michu is in the middle so link up with him. Big big games for the pair of you today.
Michuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu - You will play off Mandzukic today, look to thread little balls through for him or the wingers making runs. From crosses do what you do best, get in there and finish like the deadly god you are. If they play a CDM, when they attack, get around him.
Mandzukic - First of all use your trademark movement to create room for Michuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, Reus and Gaitan to play in, secondly get on any crosses that come in from our attacking fullbacks. Finally score! A win is essential today!

Team talk:
When attacking, we see no real leaders for them at the back, so want to exploit any lack of organisation and direction. I want plenty of passing and moving, dragging the opposition about and stretching them to create space for your team mates. Pirlo will control the play, and the AM will get in support of Lewandowski, trying to cause havoc in the opposition defence. We also expect a slight weakness at RW with their two injuries, so Baines will look to exploit this by bombing on and pushing the winger back
Defence
Press high up the pitch and win the ball back in the opposition half. Constant pressure on the ball and make them pass it quickly to get out of trouble.
FBs to pick up wingers, keeping tight and not allowing them to turn. Ivanovic to pick up the main striker. Hummels to pick up second striker/attacking midfielder. Play a high line to squeeze the space that the AM has to operate in.
Pirlo and Marchisio to sit deeper and protect the back four when defending, again squeezing the space for their creative players. When Baines gets forward, both cover them.
Attack
Pirlo to control the game and dictate our tempo, mixing it up as much as possible. Marchisio to provide the engine, getting up and down all game. Shoot from the edge of the area when you get a sight of goal.
The AM trio are to all interchange to keep the defence guessing. Keep passing and moving. We want to draw the defenders out of position and create space, and then get our creative players into that space. When in some space, turn look to pick out the through ball or a chance to run at the defence.
When the ball is on the opposing flank, the other winger and AM to get in support of Lewandowski.
Baines to bomb on and provide an overlap on the left, where the LW will tuck in to provide space and another option centrally.

Team Talk: Last league game of the season today and we have secured top division football once more. This week we play the team that dethroned us and with this in mind I want us to really take the game to them and put down a marker to prove that we will be the top dogs again next season. With this in mind we have sprung a surpise and gone with the downwards arrow formation. Isco and Lavezzi to run the show in the middle of the park, drift around and prevent them from settling. Azpiliceuta and Alaba to destroy their fullbacks and have full permission to get forward. Lets go out with a bang!
Caballero - Control your box and look to throw the ball out quickly
Garay/Varane - Garay to mark Lewandowski and stick to him at all times, you are one of the best CBs in the league so prove it today! Varane can then pick up any second strikers or Draxler if he plays centrally (or another CAM). We need to be strong at the back today as they are a team that can exploit any spaces.
Azpiliceuta/Alaba - As mentioned in the team talk you have free license to bomb forward, you are both very dangerous and can really cause issues for them. Aim crosses for Soldado to get on the end of. Alonso will be looking for you. Keep the energy up so you get back to ensure we are not outnumbered
Alonso - Stay deep and use your experience to command our troops, when they have the ball ensure we know where Pirlo and Lewandowski are at all times. When we get the ball look to play your gorgeous passes to our rampaging fullbacks or the Isco/Lavezzi
Matuidi/Pogba - When the fullbacks get forward I want you to fill in on your respective side, this will prevent them from breaking. When they have the ball then Pogba to use his energy to get straight on Pirlo and prevent him from touching the ball and hence pulling the strings! Matuidi on the other hand can be our enforcer and pick up Marchisio. Keep the energy up!
Isco/Lavezzi - You've both got quite a free license today to roam around and prevent them from settling on you. If you want to go wide do, just create nuisances of yourselves. Pick up the ball from Alonso and drive at their defenders, use all of your box of tricks to get past them. Finally link up with Soldado to pass your way into space and shoot at any opportunity!
Soldado - Utilise your great movement to provide room for Isco and Lavezzi to work in and look to link up with them to get us into some golden scoring opportunities! Finally look to get on any and all crosses that our fullbacks get in

Freekicks (Indirect) - Alonso

Team Talk: Big game today lads, we're going to go out and look to nullify there threat down the middle, and hurt them with our wingplay. Arteta is the one in midfield to pull the strings, Khedira the legs, Bender will be more restricted. The defence will play narrow, stopping them going through us in defence, but full backs can bomb on in attack. In attack the wingers will stay high, pinning there full backs back, and we will look to score many goals. A must win today lads, to stay in this league! You're German based, you get the job done.
When you get the ball off Adler, feed Arteta/Khedira, who will get us started in attacks. You have license to bomb forward at every opportunity, and cause overlaps, allowing the wingers to cut inside.
Godin and Chygrynskiy - The back four need to be in a good straight line, Godin is our leader at the back and should control this. Chygrynskiy you play on the cover today, your best role. Godin go and win headers. If they play two up top, pick up a man each. Look to play out from the back, by feeding Arteta or getting it out to the wings quickly.
Bender, Khedira and Arteta - Big roles for you three today. Bender if they play a CAM, you drop a little deeper onto him, and cover that. You are the more defensive, the lynchpin, you sit back and allow the rest to attack. Khedira you are providing the energy, and energy to the operation. You have free reign to make late bursts into the box in attack, but in defence get around as well. Arteta you look to make things tick, by getting it wide.
Yarmolenko and Reus - With the Full backs overlapping you, you have license to cut inside when on your starting flanks.

Pablo Zabaleta – Benedikt Howedes – Nemanja Vidic – Jordi Alba (SPA)
Henrikh Mkhitaryan – Oriol Romeu (SPA) – Mateo Kovacic
Theo Walcott -------------------------- James Rodriguez
Romelu Lukaku
Subs: Andres Prieto, Victor Ruiz, Victor Wanyama, Gael Bigirimana, Miralem Pjanic, Fabio Quagliarella, Klass-Jan Huntelaar
Manager’s note: A draw is all we need, but playing for a draw is a dangerous game. Our gameplan is to treat this like any other game. They will have some very strong attacking players but so will we. We also have a strong defence and are playing with some good defensive midfield cover. Playing a 4-3-2-1 system, with the aim of outnumbering them in the middle of the park. We expect them to be quite attacking, seeing as they need a win to stay up and relegate us. Our system is designed to frustrate them, 4-5-1 without the ball but when we get possession, turns into a 4-3-2-1 with Walcott and Rodriguez to support Lukaku as much as possible.
Asenjo, command your area, expect the unexpected, stay alert for long shots and stay in communication with your defence throughout. When we have the ball, look for the wingers and Lukaku, if not the CM’s.
Zabaleta/Alba, we need you to forego your attacking instincts today, and use your experience and pace to limit the impact of the Mannschaft wingers. Last week they played Reus at LW and Gaitan at RW, with the aim to cut inside. Force the wingers outside. Do not show them inside. Force them onto their weaker foot and then stop them crossing the ball. Stay as a flat back four without the ball, as we have no need to be caught out on the counter attack.
Howedes/Vidic, if they play Mandzukic with Michu in behind like last week, I want Vidic to stick to Mandzukic throughout, bully him and beat him to every header. Mandzukic is a flat track bully, he wont like being up against someone bigger than him. Howedes to sit as the second CB, double up on Mandzukic if nothing else to do, but watch for the runs of Michu and if he plays as an AM, Reus. Both will break their neck to get into the area so be there to greet them. If they play two up top, Howedes to mark the second striker throughout similarly to Vidic on Mandzukic, leave the AM to our DM’s.
Mkhitaryan/Romeu/Kovacic, play as a CM trio, whichever combo of Bender/Khedira/Arteta plays we will have a numerical advantage. Romeu to sit as our DM, don’t track the AM unless he enters your area. If Michu is the AM and bombs forward, follow him into the area, however if the AM drops deep let him drop deep, and hold your position. Kovacic to be the deep lying playmaker, but without the ball I want you to be a second DM. This is a role you’ve played well IRL for Inter Milan, so I expect no issues. With the ball, look for the runs of our wingers behind their fullbacks, play the ball over the top and down the channels into the space. Help out Romeu with tracking the AM and the wingers if they manage to cut inside. Mkhitaryan to be our box to box midfielder, without the ball a third CM to break-up the play, saturate the midfield to stop Mannschaft playing through us. But with the ball, you’re the only one allowed to get forward. Become our AM and link the play between the wingers and Lukaku, create a 4-2-3-1 formation but drop back when we lose possession.
Walcott/Rodriguez, pace to burn, I want you two to play a little deeper, be the wingers in a 4-5-1 without the ball, double up on the Mannschaft wingers and allow their fullbacks to get forward. As soon as we win the ball back, there will be plenty of space in behind their fullbacks, and frankly I’d be annoyed if you two can’t beat Carvajal and Schmelzer in a foot race. Look for the ball played down the channel, when you get there, Lukaku will be there as well as the opposite winger getting into the area.
Lukaku, bonus today that Subotic is injured. We know you’re up against Godin and Badstuber unless they try something crazy. You have the pace and power to trouble them significantly, when Rodriguez and Walcott are forward I want you to hang around in the area, beat their defenders to the ball in the air or on the floor. Once you’re in that position, up to you to score. Without the ball, be our target man, look to run into space for the occasional long pass, hold up the ball and wait for Walcott/Rodriguez to join you.
--------------------------
Substitutions/Tactical changes:
If winning 70 mins/drawing 80 mins: Walcott and Lukaku off, Ruiz and Quagliarella on. Quagliarella and Rodriguez as wide forwards, but we’re almost a 5-3-2. Ruiz the extra CB but keep Quagliarella and Rodriguez for counter attacking. Close out the game.
If still drawing 85 mins: Wanyama on for Rodriguez, 5-4-1 with another DM and defend to counter balance Mannschaft going for the winner, see out the result.
If losing 70 mins: Time to go for it. We need to score to stay up. Mkhitaryan and Kovacic off, Huntelaar and Quagliarella on. Formation changes to 4-1-5, with Zabaleta and Alba getting forward from fullback. Mannschaft will be ultra defensive if winning so we’d have less risks by only leaving Howedes, Vidic and Romeu back at times. If we get level, Lukaku off, Wanyama on. Change to a more balanced 4-4-1-1 with Walcott RM, Rodriguez LM and Quagliarella off Huntelaar.

Re: Tactics
The German Team v No Respek
- The German Team:
- ------------Ahamada------------
-----Boateng-Rami-N'Koulou-----
Danilo-------Leitner--------Digne
------------Gundogan------------
-----Sanchez------Podolski-----
-------------Benteke-------------
Friedal, Romagnoli, Chabolah, Gonalons, Maher, Fischer, Baptistao
A Back 3 of quick, big, solid defenders. Rami leads them and he sits spare amongst the 3, he is there to sweep up any stray players that have lost there markers or indeed players coming up from the back, he takes a step or two back from Boateng and Nkoulou just to keep an eye out and to keep his mates right.
There will be no man marking so where ever the striker goes these Boateng and Nkoulou must be alert as they will have to go meet him depending which way he goes, he if goes central then take it amongst themselves and who ever is closer go and get him, with Rami keeping an eye out this will leave one of the others spare as well so they must be aware of the AM coming through and can go and meet him and stop him popping up in dangerous areas unmarked.
Ahamada behind them is a solid keeper and has 100% trust from his back line, shouts and keeps them right, out for high balls punching what he cant catch and off his line early to close down strikers and there shooting angles.
The young fullbacks have a massive job today, they will be up and down more than a hooker on a Saturday night. Young fit lads who can both attack and defend, when attacking play quick onetwos with the midfielders to get up and beyond there fullbacks or knock it passed them to sprint onto to get the cross in, only one goes at a time tho and this will leave us well covered in defence. When defending watch there wingers very closely and stop the crosses coming in, keep them to the outside and away from danger. Nuff Said.
Leitner is the DM he patrols the area just in front of the defenders, he is like a dog in heat when up against an AM or CM, he just wants to hump them into oblivion with no chance of getting away, he prowls the area waiting for them to come through and bang he is there to stop the momentum and break the play up, once he has he just plays simple balls to those around him.
Gundogan is my Tiger, so now a dog and a Tiger in midfield to stop them, he goes at everything and is fearful of no one apart from a Lion, but I dont see any Lions in the opposition so all is well. He is 100% determined and will let no one by him. His determination to win everything is inspiration for the rest of the team and he leads by example in the middle. When he picks the ball up from behind he will drive forward and pass it to the front 3, or the two wiongbacks, always makes himself available for a return ball and is a real driving force in the team, partial to a long ranger so have a pop if the opportunity arises.
Sanchez isnt an animal, he is elegant and will coast this game, he will support for Benteke and will help him and do his best not to leave the big man isolated up front. With Gundogan and the wingbacks they will push them back and get themselves into dangerous areas for a knock down or lay off from Benteke., He will also help Danilo as much as he can down the right by playing nice one twos to allow the RWB get room down the flank to get the cross in, whichn Sanchez will get into the box and look to get on the end of with Benteke etc. When defending he makes up a wall and keep an eye on the LB and DM coming forward which will not allow them the freedom or room to cause us much problems hopefully.
Podolski although starting on the left has the freedom to drift to the right if he wants, just to cause some confusion in there defence, always on the move, his pace in itself is enough to damage them. Always taking players away and destroying there formation as players will follow him as he drifts about, freeing up gaps for the wingbacks and Cms to move into..when defending he will get onto the DM and stop him getting forward, if it aint him then watch the fullbacks. Both he and Sanchez are massive goal threats so when attacking get into really dangerous positions.
Big Bad Benteke up front, a fearsome predator which they should be fearful of, will out muscle the biggest baddest defenders, will dominate like they have never seen, will bully, will stare them out will make them wee there pants..Apart from that he is fantastic in the air and will look to out jump the defnders to get on the end of crosses and smack one into the back of the net. Can hold it up very well so will look to those around him to lay it off to. Two footed and a very powerful shot so look to get the shots raining in on the keeper, one or two bound to go in..Always on the move and look for Shaawary to take players aways which will allow him to move into the space

----------------------------- BUTLAND ----------------------------
WALKER ----- WILLIAMS ------- CAMPAGNARO –------ COLE
--------- FELLAINI --------- KEHL -------- WILSHERE --------
BLASZCZYKOWSKI ----------------------------------- JOVETIC
------------------------------ DEFOE ------------------------------

TEAM TALK:
The German Team are bottom of the league – let’s keep them there! We welcome four new team-mates this week – Williams. Campagnaro, Jovetic and Blaszczykowski - and I know you four will be desperate to impress and make your mark. I want to see everyone fighting for this club today, let’s end the season on a high and set a good foundation for next season’s promotion push!
TACTICAL SUMMARY:
1. Play a fast attacking game – use the CMs to control the middle of the pitch and get the wingers and FBs into the game so we can exploit their pace against the opposition’s FBs
2. Our wingers, FBs and Defoe all have great pace – let’s get at the defence, they’ll hate players running at them at speed and beating them on either the inside or the outside
3. Wilshere will dictate the play from the middle, and I want Fellaini to make runs from deep to win headers in the box so that no-one can track him
DEFENCE TACTICS:
* Butland must marshal the defence and ensure that everyone knows where their opponents are; when you have the ball try and get it to the wings so we can attack the opposition FBs with our pace
* Williams to man-mark Benteke – you’ve done this before Ashley, get tight on him, use all your physicality to stand up to him, and do not let him get even half a yard on you. Put him in your pocket and keep him there
* Campagnaro to support Williams and if they play one, mark the second striker. If not, beware of wingers cutting inside the FBs and above all, make sure that if Benteke does steal free from Williams, that you’re there to clear the ball away
* Walker and Cole to keep the wingers out wide, stand up to them, ensure they can’t get balls in to the box. Sanchez will look to cut inside – don’t let him! Blaszczykowski and Jovetic will track back as well so that they can help out / spring our pace attacks quickly
* Kehl to sit on the AM and ensure that he can’t get into the game; Wilshere and Fellaini are no strangers to getting tackles in and they will take care of any other CMs playing
ATTACK TACTICS:
* Blaszczykowski and Jovetic to beat their men for pace and get crosses into the late-arriving Fellaini; Walker and Cole are to support them going forward and overlap to confuse the FBs
* Jovetic also has license to come inside, bring the ball forward, do whatever it takes to give their RB a torrid time
* Wilshere will dictate the tempo of the game, draw the opposition towards him
and find the wingers with clever passes that will spring an attack
* Fellaini is to make late runs into the box so that the opposition can’t track him; all he needs is one chance to get a header on goal so let’s give him that chance
* Defoe to play between the CBs, if one follows you, drift away from him, because when we get on the ball, we will be looking for your runs between the CBs to play you through on goal with your pace
Substitutions:
If losing after 75mins: Eriksen, Tasci and Zaha for Kehl, Walker and Cole. Play 3-4-3, get the ball forward as quickly as possible and attack the defence like it’s 1999. Formation like this:
----------------------- Butland
-------------- Tasci – Williams – Campagnaro
Blaszczykowski – Fellaini – Wilshere – Eriksen
--------------- Zaha – Defoe - Jovetic
If drawing after 75mins: Eriksen for Kehl. Eriksen to create chances, Wilshere to get forward more to support Defoe and a more advanced Fellaini.
If winning after 75mins: Pato for Defoe. Same tactics and formation, Pato’s fresh legs should help us close out the game and capitalise on the defence’s tiredness.

Re: Tactics
Word of note for No Respek, Jovetic was one of SBFC's injuries and thus I believe is treated as an injured player.

Team talk:
Lads, we expect this team from Spanish Bank
Foster
Azpilicueta---Ferdinand---Vertonghen---Nagatomo
Mascherano
Kroos-------Guarin
Navas----------------------Mirallas
Tevez
We expect the majority of the attack through the wingers, so we cut off the supply to them. De Rossi get on Kroos and Xhaka get on Guarin. Stop them playing. We see Mascherano as poor on the ball or posing any attacking threat, so we will sit off him and allow him more time on the ball.
Varane should man mark Tevez and stay tight to him. When he drops deep, allow him to go as that leaves them without an attacking focal point. Marquinhos will play spare and use his anticipation to sweep up behind. Be aware of Mirallas’ love of cutting inside and block his route to goal.
Offensively, we have a very quick front 3, so we target Ferdinand and also the space in behind Azpilicueta through El Shaa. However, we will be in a fluid formation so it’s all about moving, stretching the opposition and creating space.El Shaa will move inside alongside Lukaku drawing the defenders, and Draxler will move out to exploit the space he leaves.
Bank also quite often do not make substitutions, so we will look to bring on fresh legs midway through the second half to try and exploit the tired legs
Specific Player Instruction
GK – Stand tall, come for crosses that are close to you making them need to aim crosses further out. Distribute short as much as possible. Be on your toes for balls in behind the defence and sweep them up
FBs – first job today is defend. Pick up the wide player and keep him away from goal. On occasions, get forward and join the attack, overlapping the winger, but not at the expense of yoru defensive responsibility and never at the same time
CBs – Varane pick up the striker, Marquinhos play spare and pick up any runners from deep
CMs – patrol the middle of the pitch and dominate the game. Get in the faces of Kroos and Guarin and don’t give them any time. Dominate them and we cut the supply line.
AM – Get on the ball and look to feed the wide men and Lukaku. Roam to where you can find space. We keep them guessing of our fluid formation, so when El Shaa joins Lukaku up front, drift left into the space he leaves behind. When not in possession, press the ball early.
Wide attackers – Get on the ball and run at the defenders, scare them with your pace. When not on the ball, look to spin into space in behind. Interchange between yourselves to leave them guessing. Exploit the space left behind when the FBs, especially Azpilcueta, go forward. El Shaa to occasionally join Lukaku up front, trying to draw the full back over and creating space for Draxler.
CF – the focal point of the attack. Hold the ball up to allow the wide men to get in support. When the ball goes wide, get in the box and onto the end of balls coming in. Let the CBs know you are there and make sure their afternoon is an uncomfortable one
Substitutions:
If losing on 65 minutes
Xhaka, Draxler and Zaha off; Verratti, Ocampos and Icardi on
Perin
De Sciglio---Marquinhos---Varane---Alaba

- Bank:
- GSCFosterAzpiliceuta-Jones-Vertonghen-NagatomoMascheranoKroos---GuarinNavas----------MirallasTevezGameplan:With the pace in our back 4, I want to play a higher line to combat Lukaku and squeeze the space in behind him for their players to operate, with the pace to recover if necessary. Midfield to remember their defensive responsibilities, and defend as a unit.Offensively, we have the players and experience to take control of midfield, and from there establish a base for Kroos and our wide players to work chances for Tevez.CB: Jones get physical with Lukaku, Vertonghen to cover the rest of the defense. If a 2nd striker plays, Vertonghen to pick him up. Jones don't go storming up the field.FB: Get forward 1 at a time only. They have dangerous wingers, but I want to show them outside. It should be congested when they come infield, so the cutback shouldn't be there.Masch: Midfield destroyer of souls. They may play 3 behind Lukaku, so don't pick up a specific target, just patrol your zone. Look for the simple ball in possession.CM: Both to go box to box, Kroos aim to be a bit more their box than ours. Guarin provides the legs and energy to make it tough for them to play balls in through the middle, and to make late runs into the area. Kroos more advanced, look to find space and drop the attention you'll no doubt receive in bulk. Get your head up and pick a pass. Win the midfield area, we have the quality to do so.Wingers: If 3 CBs and wingbacks play look to get in the area behind the WBs and get a run at the CBs. Look to use your pace to get round the outside if the cutback is closed off, Navas in particular I expect to target Alaba if he plays.Tevez: Might be a game of limited chances so stay patient and work your openings. Plenty of energy, hustle their CBs in possession, never give them a moment to switch off. They have talent, but their CBs are inexperienced, so use your experience to your advantage.

Re: Tactics
Mole City vs Atalanta Falcons
- Mole City:
- Fernando--------------Cesar
----Jagielka-Mangala-Badstuber
Walker------------------------Marcelo
---------Capoue-Cabaye
------Hernanes-------Cazorla
--------------Huntelaar
Subs:Forster/Srna/Yanga Mbiwa/Muniain/Grenier/Llorente/Sturridge
Team Talk: Opening game of the season against Atlanta Soddy is an astute tactician i believe he'll go 4-3-2-1 or 4-2-3-1 so going to count the wingers and dominate the centre of the park against him.
Cesar: They have pacy wingers so watch the ball in behind the defence and come sweep up, when have the ball get it to Cabaye or a wing back
Jagielka: Your be up against Mertens or Lamela when they come forward don't jump in as their tricky customers just make sure they don't get past and watch for them making a break in behind with their pace.
Mangala: Your be up against Mario i want you to physically bully him make sure he knows your there give him a good kicking to see if get him angry, Make sure he doesn't get near the goal
Badstuber: Your playing the left side of the back 3/5 and your be up against Robben all i want is for you to jockey him and force him down the line and make him cross it don't let him cut inside onto his left foot at all and if he does throw your self at the shot.
Walker: Your right wing back im playing you due to pace, When defending double up with Jagielka on Mertens/Lamela so he takes one and you take Cole who will overlap, block the cross into the box. When going forwards their wingers won't want to track back so take your chance against Cole and whip a ball in
Marcelo: Your be up against Lahm, He's a top player so watch for him coming to overlap Robben and make sure that he doesn't get any supply at all, force him to come backwards and defend against you and utilize your pace and make sure you get a cross or a corner in
Capoue: Sniejder or Cabella will play AM so stick to them like glue when their within 25 yards of goal, when their not go sit on Marchisio and make sure he can't dictate the play
Cabaye: drift about the midfield get in the area of Marchisio so when Capoue is occupied with Sniejder/Cabella that their is someone on him to stop him, when you've got the ball look for passes into the AM's or a long range ball to a wing back
Hernanes: I want you to sit in the area of Lucas/Garcia and make sure he's priorities you and look to make a big influence by creating for the wing backs and Huntelaar, Switch with Cazorla on occasions to keep them busy don't be afraid to get in the box
Cazorla: Drop into space where their DM isn't so you have time to work your magic, look for balls into Huntelaar or in behind their defense for an on coming wing back, if they don't close you down within 25 yards have a go at goal, You can switch with Hernanes if their tracking you
Huntelaar: It's going to be a game of few chances so when you get a sniff at goal you've got to bury them, try to stick to Rami and make movement in behind Koscielny to open up the space. look to make diagonal runs at crosses to keep them busy and if they both follow then Santi/Hernanes will be on it
If winning - Srna/Balzaretti/Sturridge on for Walker/Marcelo/Huntelaar - become a flat back 5 and Sturridge to use his pace on a tiring defense
- Soddy's bunch of losers:
sodhatvs Mole CitehBuffonLahm - Rami - Koscielny - ColeGarciaMarchisio - DembeleRobben ---------------- LamelaBalotelli
Subs: Leali, Ogbonna, Abate, Lucas, Sneijder, Mertens, Castaignos
Team talk: We want a strong start to the year and what better way than beating the team that pipped us to the post last season? We want to utilise the balance in the midfield and the creativity up top to break them down. We have a solid defensive structure and we're prepared to be obdurate throughout. Be positive in possession and hard working out of it.
Buffon: I don't really need to say much to you, do I? Go do what you do. Only thing is distribute the ball short where possible, possession shouldn't be squandered.
Rami/Koscielny: Communicate with each other and make sure you're aware of who is around you in the dangerous areas. Take responsibility for your half of the pitch and track men when they come in to it - don't follow them out of position, play as a unit.
Lahm/Cole: Both are free to get up the field and support the attacks, but not much past the final third. We want you to defend responsibly, and to snuff out counters quickly. If Cazorla is out wide, keep him there, fence him in and don't let him in field. Actually, do that with both wings, keep them isolated on the outside and block crossing attempts.
Garcia: Keep it simple, sit centrally and use your intelligence to sniff out where the danger is coming from. Use positioning to slow down attacks and look for the interceptions. No need for rough tackling, just be niggly and slow their pace down, maybe bite a few ankles.
Marchisio: Up and down all day, drive us on from midfield and eat up the ground quickly. Defensively watch for Lahm being caught up field and cover his area because Robben sure as hell won't. Short passing, use the width and feed it to Dembele to play the killer ball.
Dembele: More advanced in midfield when we have the ball but drop back into formation when we don't to clog the middle. When you get the football assess your options and play the smart pass. Don't worry about doing anything too complex, but if there is a through ball to be had, go for it.
Robben: As expected, get the ball, be direct and attack the full back both ways. If you can cut inside and unleash a shot do so. If there is someone in a better position though, please, please, lay it off to them. I'm not going to stunt your natural game though, get the ball and take it at the defence.
Lamela: A bit more considered on this side, so look to drift in that half of the field and look for the opportunity to open them up. You can dribble too, so feel free to take on your full back on the outside from time to time and whip a ball in with your left.
Balotelli: Operate as the lone front man, and look to occupy a defender at all times. Come short for the ball if the space is there and when Dembele or Lamela have it, spin and make runs behind for clever passes. If you get space, hit a shot, we know you can strike a football.
If winning:
75mins
Robben off, Lucas on
Dembele off, Ogbonna onBuffonLahm - Rami - Ogbonna - Koscielny - ColeMarchisio - Lucas - GarciaLamelaBalotelli
Defend the lead and pack the bodies in the middle. The full backs are good enough to go one on one.
If losing:
75mins
Garcia off, Sneijder on
Dembele off, Mertens onBuffonLahm - Rami - Koscielny - ColeMarchisioRobben - Sneijder - Lamela - MertensBalotelli
Attack them and rely on an overload of creative players to get us back in it.

Villa -------- Soldado (c) ------ Lavezzi
Team Talk: Beginning of season 3 today at home to our bitter Spanish rivals. It is key that we get off to a winning start today in order and with that in mind we've gone with quite an attacking formation. Lavezzi/Villa playing as outside forwards and I want you to dominate the game. Lavezzi can have a field day on their right hand side where injuries have crippled them. They are strong in the middle but we have strengthened as well, if we control the game we will do well today.
de Gea - You are probably the best keeper in the premiership now so prove it today, frustrate them with great saves and control the box
Jallet/Baines - Defence is much more important than attack for you two today as Cervezas are strong out wide. Force Rodz/Willian out wide where they won't be able to get involved in the build up. Block the crosses that come in and stay on your feet. We control the wings and we win
Ivanovic/Chiellini - They are likely to just play the one out and out striker in Lewandowski, with this in mind Chiellini to mark him out of the game. Be strong and muscle him out of the game. Ivanovic to pick up Michu if he plays, if not then sweep and pick up the runners. Work together to snuff out any half chances
Alonso/Khedira - Alonso to play as our out and out DCM, aid our CBs to prevent Cervezas from settling. When we have the ball look to pick out our outside forwards/Isco with your glorious long passing. Khedira you're settling into the box to box role, after all you two have an irresistable partnership at Madrid. When they have the ball look to get onto Fernandinho and prevent him from getting any time on the ball, win it quickly and then push us forward. Link up with Isco when possible in order to aid him against Martinez. Shoot if you get into position
Isco - We've deliberately played you slightly further back than usual in order to keep you away from Martinez who will be tasked with marking you. Look to drop deep and lose Martinez/drag him out of position. Khedira will be supporting you. Further up the pitch look to burst into the space Soldado always provides you with/play cute balls through to Villa/Lavezzi where they can terrorize the flanks
Lavezzi/Villa - Our masterstroke in going 4-2-1-3 as opposed to 4-2-3-1 is down to the pair of you, look to run at their fullbacks before driving inside. Lavezzi inparticular can have a field day as they are without their first choice right back. If for whatever reason they go 3 at the back then all the more room for the pair of you to destroy them. I want goals from the pair of you today!
Soldado - As always utilise your great movement to provide room for Isco/Lavezzi/Villa to play in, roam between the center backs and look to play on the shoulder for any crosses/through balls that come through. Shoot on sight and test Asenjo regularly

Manager's note: A lot of drawn games last season, I hope we can turn draws into wins this season. Chorizo have a very strong 4-2-3-1 side but we will play a more direct style and aim to get at their centrebacks. We are playing a fluid Bayern style 4-4-2, Michu has the Muller role of dropping off on occasion but becoming the second striker when the wingers have the ball. Keep the ball and dictate the play.
Expected Chorizo side:De Gea
Debuchy - Ivanovic - Chiellini - Baines
Alonso - Khedira
Oxlade Chamberlain - Isco - Lavezzi
Soldado
Gameplan: Target the CB's. Chorizo have some strong fullbacks, so Rodriguez and Willian will be purely cutting inside in the reverse winger role. Both are "wrong footed" on the wing so this will be comfortable for you. Feel free to swap wings on occasion to unsettle the fullbacks. Once inside the fullback, it will be up to one of the CB's to come towards you, this will either leave space for you or leave one of Lewandowski and Michu unmarked. Lewandowski to bully Chiellini throughout, force him outside of his comfort zone, back into him and control the ball back to goal, with Michu pre-occupying the other CB or making the most of the space. Both look to link up and shoot on sight. Both natural finishers so I expect shots to at least hit the target.
Khedira and Alonso aren't a dynamic midfield duo, completely different style to our pairing of Martinez and Fernandinho. Martinez will be his imperious self, closing down whoever enters the AM area for Chorizo. Isco might drop deep but don't follow, fill the space rather than chase the player. Alonso doesn't help out defensively and Khedira is more box to box, so Fernandinho to put pressure on Alonso and pressurise him high up the pitch, leave him with no real passing options. Khedira should be targetting Michu as the AM but he'll be further forward meaning he wont be able to help out unless he drops to CB. If the fullbacks go forward, I want Martinez and/or Fernandinho to fill in.
I want Vidic to focus on Soldado as the lone striker, bully him and mark him out of the game. Evans to be the extra man, watch for either winger making progress infield or Isco breaking forward. Javi Martinez will be able to help out with Isco on occasion. Jordi Alba to force The Ox wide, use your pace to limit his impact and advance to double team the Chorizo RB with Rodriguez. Overlap to give him another option. Sokratis to always show Lavezzi outside, his natural game is to cut inside and link with the striker, force him outside and help to isolate Soldado.
--------------------------
Substitutions/tactical changes (70 mins):
If winning: Michu off, Wanyama on. Wanyama to DM, formation changes to 4-5-1. Still look to counter attack but absorb Chorizo pressure.
If drawing: No changes, although push for the win.
If losing: Evans and Martinez off, Quagliarella and Pjanic on. Formation changes to 3-4-3 with Quagliarella joining Michu and Lewandowski upfront and Pjanic with Fernandinho at CM.

Solid start last week against a tough Chorizo side. We troubled them and earned a point. Today we're up against a very talented but inexperienced side in Il Azzurini. We will be more traditional this week after surprising Chorizo with a 4-4-2, we're back to 4-2-3-1 to ensure we don't lose out in the midfield battles.
Expected Azzurini line up:Perin
De Sciglio - Varane - Nastasic - Alaba
De Rossi - Verratti
Zaha - Coutinho - Draxler
Lukaku
We expect a 4-2-3-1 from Azzurini. The loss of El Shaarawy will be a big blow for them as they look to get at our defence. We believe El Shaarawy missing injured will also stop Azzurini from playing 4-3-3 as they are low on natural wingers. There may be some changes in personnel to our expected line-up but the gameplan will remain the same.
Asenjo, I know you're apparently not good enough, but I want you to prove the critics wrong. Stay in communication with your defence throughout and distribute the ball to players rather than to space. Keep the ball and we will control the game.
Montoya/Alba, I want you to contentrate on playing the fullback role without being drawn forward by the Azzurini wingers. It could be any of their AM's dropping out wide, and any of their wingers drifting inside to lure you out of position. Stay zonal. Then defend your position when the ball is at the feet of their winger and force him outside to limit his options. Block crosses at source. Without the ball, push up but don't leave the Azzurini winger behind you.
Sokratis/Vidic, Lukaku will be a genuine threat today, I want Vidic to be the hardman that he is, don't let Lukaku bully you like does to other CB's regularly. He may try to target Sokratis but don't let him. Vidic to stick to Lukaku like glue, while Sokratis is the CB who focuses on the ball and closing down any of the Azzurini AM's. Sokratis to watch for the second ball whenever Vidic and Lukaku go for a header.
Martinez/Fernandinho, solid showing against Alonso and Khedira last week, same goes this week against De Rossi and Verratti. After criticism of Xhaka I don't expect him to be picked, so same as last week only instead of Alonso it's Verratti and instead of Khedira it's De Rossi. Verratti will be a deep lying playmaker but does little defending, so Fernandinho to have no qualms pressurising Verratti high up the pitch and forcing him into errors. De Rossi will be too busy with Dzagoev at AM which is our hope, this would leave Verratti open. Martinez to be his usual imperious self at DM, but we expect roaming AM's from Azzurini to stay at DM rather than track the starting AM. It could be any of the AM's so wait for them to come near you then cut them off and be our ball winner. On the ball, link with Fernandinho and Dzagoev.
Dzagoev, hopefully marked by De Rossi you'll take him out of the game. Drift left, right and forward. Conventional AM, I want you to link the play between the wingers and Lewandowski with Fernandinho and Martinez. Shoot when you get an opportunity. Look to create space and chances for Lewandowski.
Nasri/Willian, both flair players, but I need you to both torment your opposing fullback. Both opposition fullbacks are very fast so you wont be able to outpace them, but drop deep, receive ball to feet and trick your way past them, or at least trick your way enough to get a cross in. Lewandowski will be isolated if you don't and it could cost us the game, so be sensible, but be unpredictable and create space and chances for Lewandowski.
Lewandowski, your job today is to get into the spaces created by those around you, be available in the area for crosses and passes, and be ruthless and clinical in your finishing as ever to fire us to three points. Two strong CB's around you today, but you've had the better of Varane in real life recently and I expect the same today.
-------------------------
Substitutions/Tactical Changes (70 mins):
If winning: Nasri off, Wanyama on. Dzagoev to RM, Willian deeper to LM, Wanyama an extra DM with Martinez as we play 4-5-1 and play to close the game out, while still looking to hurt Azzurini on the counter.
If drawing: Dzagoev off, Michu on. Like for like, only Michu more attack minded and with the ability to become a second striker behind Lewandowski. Push for the win.
If losing: Sokratis off, Michu on. 4-2-3-1 becomes 3-2-3-2, as Michu joins Lewandowski up top and we push forward for the goals we need.

Team Talk: Up against a strong side in Por Favor - They come up with new formations on a weekly basis so we're going to play fast attacking football through the middle of their side.
Perin: I want you to clear balls that are knocked in behind their wing players will play through balls for Lewandowski so be quick off your line
De Sciglio: Your going to up against Nasri/Willian presumably he'll cut inside a lot so try force him down the line and make him cross it, He's a twisty fella so make sure you keep an eye on the ball, He won't want to track back so we're going to rely on you for width so get forwards and whip the ball in.
Varane: I want you to pick up Lewandowski he thrives on movement so keep tight to him and don't let him turn or get a shot away. Force him into midfield, If they come down the left wing Marquinhos will go onto Lewandowski and your go out and help De Sciglio with Alba overlapping
Marquinhos: Your going spare today so look to pick up their AM if they come forwards, try to stop balls into Lewandowski to limit the supply, Go out and help Alaba if they come down their right wing.
Alaba: Your be up against Nasri/Willian so force inside onto their weaker foot and towards Verratti who'll help double team. When going forwards get at Sokritis with your pace and launch it in for Lukaku
Kovacic: Your going to go box to box today, look to pass and move with the 2 AM's, Get around Fernandinho and try hassle him when on the ball.
De Rossi: Sit and marshall infront of the defense look to help out the full backs when come down the wing, If they come through the middle then track the AM everywhere don't let him get any chance to create.
Verratti: Sit deep and play look to up the tempo and make sure we don't give the ball away drop into gaps in the midfield to give an option then release it quickly, Don't be afraid to hit a long ball to Lukaku.
Draxler: Your play as an inside right forward, Don't be afraid to drift wide and look to take advantage of Alba going forwards leaving space, Drift across the line and into Martinez's space to force him to follow or leave you in space, Look to slide the ball in between the cb/full back for Lukaku, Get on the end of knock downs from Lukaku
Coutinho: Your playing as Inside Left Forward, Stay inside and leave Alaba to get at Sokritis, Look to create for Lukaku by linking up or sliding a ball through, or dribbling at Evans and taking on their defense. Look to get on end of potential knock downs
Lukaku: Your a powerhouse so back onto Evans and bully him, Look to turn him and get in behind, look to knock down the ball for the AM's if Verratti goes long.
Subs: Muniain for Kovacic - go 4-2-3-1 with Draxler RW and Muniain LW with Coutinho AM after 75 mins if losing

Teamtalk:
Hard fought draw last time, now we have to steel ourselves for what could be a relegation 6 pointer. I expect us to come out and graft for absolutely everything to make sure we get the 3 points today.
Gameplan:
Defense:- After bringing in J-Rod, I expect they'll play with wingers. I expect Pasqual and Azpilicueta to be defensively solid and look to show their wingers outside, with Navas and Nagatomo to track back with their attacking FBs pushing up.
- They may play either Huntelaar or Vucinic up top alone, or the duo together. Either way Jones to get the main striker, and Vertonghen to cover. If both play, Jones to take Huntelaar.
- They have a multitude of AMs, Mascherano sits deeper to cover this, patrol your zone. High work rate from Kroos, expect you to drop back in when we're out of possession, and cramp the space for their players to work.
Offense:- I expect Navas and Nagatomo to exploit their FBs primarily, especially if they intend to push up. Both are beatable, with Navas vs Marcelo a priority. Try to beat your man and get a run at the CB.
- Kroos to be our metronome in midfield. Keep moving, always be available for a pass and keep the ball moving. Look to push forward when we establish possession
- If they play with one defensively minded CM in Capoue he can't cover both Kroos and Kagawa. I expect Kagawa to take advantage of the space, wherever it is. Work off the pace of Mirallas, he should be able to scare the defensive line deeper, and work your magic. Free role today, make them pay.
- Expect Mirallas to sit on the shoulder of the last man. Your pace should scare them deeper, and if they try to play higher look for get the ball in behind them to run onto.
Sub:
If winning: 70 minutes: Kagawa for Guarin: Revert to our typical formation. - After bringing in J-Rod, I expect they'll play with wingers. I expect Pasqual and Azpilicueta to be defensively solid and look to show their wingers outside, with Navas and Nagatomo to track back with their attacking FBs pushing up.

Team Talk: We're up against Spanish Bank this week who have both main strikers missing so we have a chance to get at them and get the win, We expect Mirallas to go up top with Kagawa taking his place out wide
Cesar: I want you to marshall the area their going to play balls in behind for Mirallas so come sweep up
Srna: Your be up against Kagawa he's a tricky fella but will cut inside a lot so make sure you follow him and make sure he can't get the ball through to Mirallas
Jagielka: I want you to dominate Mirallas give him a kicking don't let him get a sniff at goal, throw yourself in the way of everything, make sure that he doesn't get a chance to use his pace
Mangala: Kroos will play further forward of their midfield 3 so look to track his running, Otherwise help Marcelo by double teaming Navas
Marcelo: Get forward and force Navas to come the other way, Look to take on Dave and whip balls in for Huntelaar, When defending force Navas inside towards Mangala
Capoue: Sit infront of the defense and pick up who ever goes into your area Kroos and Guarin will go box to box so keep an eye out for each one coming forwards, Kagawa will come in from his wing so get out to him if he tries it
Hernanes: Your going box to box i want you to influence the play everywhere hassle their midfielders into quick sloppy passing, When with the ball link up and get on beyond Santi, Drift in Mascherano's space to keep him occupied when going forwards
Attacking AM note: All 3 will interchange
Rodriguez: Take on Nagamoto with your tricks and pace and look to cut in and slide balls in behind for Huntelaar, If they force you down the line then whip a ball in. If getting no joy swap with Vucinic/Cazorla
Cazorla: Look to create at will that's all i want look for passes in behind for the 2 wingers or to get a chance for Huntelaar, If they track you swap with a winger and go out wide and cut inside alot
Sturridge: Drift across their defensive line and force them to follow or leave in space and look to link up with Santi/Rodriguez, If they leave you with a chance at goal take a shot
Huntelaar: Sit on Jones force him backwards, back into him and make his life difficult try and roll him or drift in behind Vertonghen to force Jones to come with you and create space for the AM 3
Subs: If losing after 75 mins
Hernanes on for Vucinic - Cazorla to go LW
Sturridge for Huntelaar - use pace to run in behind

Team Talk: After a solid draw next week against our spanish rivals we are reverting back to 4-3-2-1 to face a team we've never faced in the league before. I can see them going 4-1-4-1 or some mixture of 4-3-3 which is why we're going with a strong formation with the three flair players behind Soldado. Lavezzi and Oxlade-Chamberlain to exploit any room in behind Cole/Lahm as they get forward with Isco to be our lynchpin in the middle. Lets keep it strong and keep a clean sheet, before playing simple football where we keep possession before hitting them where it hurts. We do that and we win.
de Gea - You've kept out Ballotelli on more than one occasion before so do it again today, you're the best keeper in the prem!
Ivanovic/Baines - Stay strong and force their wingers off the ball, I can see Martens and Lamela being up against you today so we know what to prepare for. When they are running at you force them wide and block the crosses coming in. Their fullbacks will also look to get forward but by forcing the Wingers wide we will limit their impact as they will have to go inside to get any space and hence allow our wingers room to explode into
Garay/Pepe - It will be Balotelli and as such I want Pepe on him. Wind him up and knock him off his game, get physical if needed. Garay to keep things simple and marshall our defence, I want you to pick up Marchiso/Dembele if they get past Alonso/Khedira. Get on the crosses and let us break quickly
Alonso - Sit in front of the defence and mark Marchiso, when we get the ball look for the long beautiful passes to Ox/Lavezzi/Isco that will allow us to break quickly. You will have your best friend Khedira beside you so use him as well, look for a simple pass to release him forward
Khedira - I need you to go box to box and keep the energy up, when they have the ball look to sit straight on Dembele and prevent him from playing. If we stop him and Marchiso then they cannot drive forward. When we have the ball I want you to break quickly and give us another option, look to get up alongside Isco so we can play our way around their DCM
Isco - Back in the hole today and I want you to be our focal point. It will either be Garcia or Lucas who are set with the task of "marking you", but you can prevent this by drifting into the space that Soldado provides us with. Look to link up with Khedira as he bustles forward as well as our two wingers so we can pass our way past their defence.
Lavezzi/Ox - As mentioned in the team talk you need to exploit any space that is offered to you, Ox to use his incredible pace against Cole and turn him inside out whilst Lavezzi you must be patient and just wait for Lahm to drift too far upfield. I want you to alternate between getting to the byline and driving inside at pace. Look for Soldado/Isco/Khedira
Soldado - I need you to focus on targetting Rami/Ogbonna as they are a week link in the team. Utlise your great movement to drag them out of position as this will provide room for Lavezzi/Ox/Isco to get into. When they get the ball behind you look to play on the shoulder before popping it into the bottom corner. Finally look to get on any crosses, especially to knock down to Isco who can bury them
---
Corners - Lavezzi - Ox to stay back with Baines, Alonso to hover half way back, aim for Ivanovic/Pepe/Garay
Freekicks - Indirect - Alonso
Freekicks - Direct - Baines
Penalties - Baines
---
Subs:
Regardless of score at 70 minutes - Ox and Alonso off, Villa and Witsel on. Go 4-2-1-2-1 as per last week. Lots of energy in the middle with Khedira and Witsel, Villa and Lavezzi out wide, Isco dropping a little to keep them guessing. What is not to like?
Regardless of score at 85 minutes - Baines off, Monreal on. Like for like with Fresh legs to combat any late onslaught from Lahm's side

Team talk: A good win last week and we need to follow it up with a good performance this week. We want to play with no fear today, and we want to attack our opponents and try and take the game away from them.
Lahm/Cole: Both are free to get up the field and support the attacks, and provide us with the width when we are attacking. Funnel back when we lose the ball, but you'll have cover behind you. Keep your wingers wide where you can.
Garcia: Keep it simple, sit centrally and use your intelligence to sniff out where the danger is coming from. Use positioning to slow down attacks and look for the interceptions. No need for rough tackling, just be niggly and slow their pace down, maybe bite a few ankles. When the FBs are forward, operate as almost a third CB - make sure we aren't outnumbered on the counter.
Marchisio/Dembele: Both sit in the middle of the park and play the ball around. Support attacks but only one at a time, and always have one of you ready to defend any counters.
Lamela/Sneijder: Both traditional AMs so I want you to look to spring the striker and create chances. Sneijder - you have a rocket shot so hit it if there is a chance to. Lamela can move wide and drift more than Sneijder who will stay centrally between the lines and pull the strings.
Balotelli: Operate as the lone front man, and look to occupy a defender at all times. Come short for the ball if the space is there and when Sneijder or Lamela have it, spin and make runs behind for clever passes. If you get space, hit a shot, we know you can strike a football.

Team Talk: Up against a solid Atlanta Falcons side who have 2 big injuries for them so gotta try take advantage of them. look to play passing football and press them high up the press but sit with a deep line in defense. They often play a hybrid 3 in midfield with Dembele as CM but further forwards
Butland: Look to sweep up balls knocked in behind and any crosses that come in come and collect
De Sciglio: Expecting Lamela/Mertens up against you, There both tricky customers so don't jump in, Look to force them to cross the ball in the box, don't let them come inside if they do make sure they pass backwards
Varane: Stick to Balotelli like glue, Don't let him turn at goal niggle at him and try put him off his game, If he gets in behind then make a last ditch tackle.
Nastasic: Your be playing spare so if Mario gets in behind then clear up, Their most likely to play an AM in Dembele/Sniejder so make sure they don't influence the play if playing further forward, try to block the supply line into Balotelli. Throw yourself at them if they go for a shot.
Alaba: Expecting Robben on your side, We all know he'll run at your then cut inside and shoot so block the inside line and make him cross with his weaker right foot.
Kondogbia: Your going to marshall infront of the defense and block any runs that Dembele makes from midfield if he plays, If Sniejder plays then track him in midfield. Look to help the full backs in their respective wingers cut inside
Verratti: Your going to control the play, look to get the ball into Toure or hit a long ball to El Shaarawy/Coutinho, Expect Marchisio to go box to box so when defending track him all the way. Look to get El Shaarawy in on the counter and occasionally hit a long ball to Lukaku
Yaya Toure: Your an absolute tank, Look to break from midfield with powerful runs and force them onto the back foot, Look to link up with Lukaku, Bully your way about the midfield get stuck in and pressure them.
El Shaarawy: I want you to use your pace and trickery and get at the slowing legs of Cole, Turn him inside and out and whip a ball in for Lukaku. Don't be afraid to cut inside and pull De Rossi across to create space for Toure. Cole will go forwards so sit and let him go Kondogbia will help De Sciglio and Verratti will hit you on counter
Coutinho: Your going to be playing LW/AM so will be cutting inside a lot this week your not going to be Abate for pace so look to cut inside and pass and move with Lukaku/Toure/El Shaarawy. Look to play through balls for Lukaku/El Shaarawy, Remember to track back and help Alaba
Lukaku: No idea how many CB's Soddy will play as he has 3 class one's so pick on Ogbonna/Koscielny who struggle with physical presences and back in to them. Look to lay the ball of to Toure or try and turn to the defenders and get in behind with your pace.

Team talk: We want to take the game to the opposition today. We're setting out a solid base in the middle to sit and control the area and allowing our attacking players to express themselves.
Leali: I don't really need to say much to you, do I? Go do what you do. Only thing is distribute the ball short where possible, possession shouldn't be squandered.
Rami/Koscielny: Communicate with each other and make sure you're aware of who is around you in the dangerous areas. Take responsibility for your half of the pitch and track men when they come in to it - don't follow them out of position, play as a unit.
Abate/Cole: We have attacking flair up the pitch so it's more important that you defend well against the dangerous wingers. Support attacks up to halfway but no further. You must not get caught up the field. I'm looking at you Ignazio. Push them wide and isolate them, stand them up and prevent them linking with players in field.
De Rossi/Marchisio: Work together in the midfield and look to dominate the area physically. De Rossi will get around and put his foot in and look to win the ball back or slow their attacks at the very least. Marchisio will sit alongside and do the same until we win the ball, at which point he will drive forward with the ball and transition us to attack.
Sneijder: Sit between the lines and cause havoc with movement across the field and your passing and shooting ability. Don't be afraid to play risky balls in the final third, and don't be afraid to let a rocket go either. Look for the movement of the wingers who will be inside and outside, and look for Balotelli on the shoulders. Try and get a boot in on the DM if he is trying to dictate the pace at the back too. Nothing fancy, just rush him.
Come short for the ball if the space is there and when Sneijder or Lamela have it, spin and make runs behind for clever passes. If you get space, hit a shot, we know you can strike a football.

Manager's note: Time to push on. We have one of the best attacking sides in the league and I want us to put that to good use today. Fluid 4-2-3-1 with plenty of movement from the AM's required. Creating chances for Lewandowski and supporting him to stop him being isolated is key for us.
Guaita, stay in communication with your defence throughout and distribute the ball to players rather than space. Keep the ball and we will control the game.
Zabaleta/Alba, concentrate on playing the fullback role without being drawn forward by the Spanish Bank wingers. Stay zonal and defend your position when the ball is at the feet of their winger and force him outside to limit his options. Block crosses at source. Without the ball, push up but don't leave the Spanish Bank winger behind you.
Pepe/Agger, Llorente will be a genuine threat today, I want Pepe to be the hardman that he is, don't let Llorente bully you like does to other CB's regularly. He may try to target Agger but don't let him. Pepe to stick to Llorente like glue, while Agger is the CB who focuses on the ball and closing down Tevez. Agger to watch for the second ball whenever Pepe and Llorente go for a header.
Martinez/Fernandinho, going to be tough against Bender and Kroos, and possibly a third midfielder if Banega plays. Martinez to be his usual imperious self at DM, but we expect roaming CM's from Spanish Bank so stay at DM rather than track the starting AM. It could be any of the AM's so wait for them to come near you then cut them off and be our ball winner. On the ball, link with Fernandinho and Kagawa. Fernandinho to be box to box, join Kagawa in getting forward but without the ball I want you to help Martinez out to make sure we're not overrun in midfield.
Kagawa, if marked by Bender you'll take him out of the game. Drift left, right and forward. Conventional AM, I want you to link the play between the wingers and Lewandowski with Fernandinho and Martinez. Shoot when you get an opportunity. Look to create space and chances for Lewandowski. Link with the wingers.
Willian/Honda, both flair players, but I need you to both torment your opposing fullback.

Subs 70 mins:
If winning: Kagawa and Honda off, Wanyama and Callejon on. Change to 4-5-1 with Callejon at RW, Willian at LW and Wanyama an extra DM. Wanyama to help us absorb pressure, then use the fresh legs on the wing to counter attack Spanish Bank.
If drawing: Change nothing but push for the win.
If losing: Alba off, Morata on. Zabaleta - Pepe - Agger as a back three, Morata joins Lewandowski and we change to 3-2-3-2. Push for goals.

Teamtalk:
Time to stamp our authority on this division. I expect us to play tough and physical to unsettle them, and with our wingers tracking back, isolate their attackers to cut off the supply. Set a tone of quick and physical football right from the off and don't let them settle.
Defense:- Tevez to nip at the heels of their deeper players when in possession. Set the tone from the start and lead by example.
- Navas and Gaitan are expected to track back and double up on the wingers, and assist with their attack minded FB/WBs.
- Kroos and Bender to be tidy and efficient in the middle of the park. You're both German so this shouldn't be an issue. Bender to drop deeper to cut off the space in the hole, and Kroos to assist Tevez in getting stuck into their deeper player.
- They typically like their wingers to cut inside off the wing onto their stronger foot, so if they line up this way I expect the FBs to cut off this avenue first.
- Godin and Miranda, I expect you two to utilise the partnership you honed at Atletico Madrid to keep Lewandowski quiet. Godin to get physical with him first, try and knock him off his runs, while Miranda will cover off those runs, while being aware of runs from deeper which elude Bender and Kroos.
Attack:- If their FBs/WBs get caught high up the pitch, we have the pace to pounce and break with impunity. If we do catch them in possession look for this immediately. Otherwise you both have the ability to beat your man one on one, so look to do and provide quality service to Llorente.
- They may look to pressure Kroos out of the game in possession, if so look longer to Llorente or Tevez in the hole to bypass their midfield and Kroos to make runs off that. If they give you time, demand the ball and make them pay.
- Bender to be more reserved, but if we establish control go more box to box and make later runs into the box
- FBs to largely stay at home.
- Tevez to play off Llorente and look for flick ons from him. See if you can draw a CB out of position and mess with the shape of their back 2/3. Work the space if a DM is more preoccupied with Kroos.
- Llorente to be the focal point, get it in and around him, let him hold it up. Their best physical CB is out, so I expect you to target Evans or Agger in particular aerially. Work with Tevez, try to get him into the game around the penalty area.
- Tevez to nip at the heels of their deeper players when in possession. Set the tone from the start and lead by example.

Team Talk: Up against a bit of an unknown in Mole Citeh who are playing in their first league game under their new manager however we must get a win today following a heartbreaking draw against the Falcons. With this in mind we have strengthened our fire power and are implementing our new formation. Witsel and Khedira as the engine, Isco as the little genius and our two super strikers up front. They have dangerous players but we have quality all over the pitch. Lets keep a clean sheet and assert outselves as a genuine title contender.
de Gea - You are the best keeper in the league, be calm and concentrate on making saves
Ivanović/Baines - If they go with wingers it will be two from Sturridge, Cazorla and Rodz. Regardless of who it is force them wide where they are far less dangerous, we also have the advantage in the air over Huntelaar on any crosses. If they do not play wingers then you will have the chance to get forward more however the focus must be on defence
Garay/Chiellini - Chiellini to man mark Huntelaar, rough him up and make him regret being on the pitch. Keep on him at all times and make him switch off completely. Garay to pick up Sturridge if he plays as a second striker, if not then sweep and just clean up. Work together to ensure that we get to crosses and get a head to any corners. We must keep a clean sheet today!
Carrick - A true DCM role for you today, if they play Rodz or Cazorla as a CAM stick to them and make their life miserable. Work with Chiellini and Garay to direct the troops. Be strong and prove your worth!
Witsel/Khedira - Engine room for both of you today, go box to box and drive us forward. When they have the ball look to form a trio with Carrick in front of our back four and pick up any players going box to box for them. As soon as we get the ball get forward and give us an option. If you see an option to drive out wide then do
Isco - Last week in the cup they played Wilshere as a dcm, if they do again lets punish them as he really is better suited further forward. Without Capoue they are missing a true dcm so regardless you will have room to play. Make a nuisance of yourself all game, drift around and keep them guessing. I want you to link our attacks together, play through our deadly duo/play in Witsel and Khedira or just do it yourself! There are goals to be had today
Soldado/Higuaín - You are our deadly duo and they will not prepared to face both of you today, Soldado to utilise his great movement and drag their defence all over the shop. I'd imagine Jagielka will be marking you so get him out of position. Higuaín to drive into this room and blaze past whoever their second cb is. I want goals from both of you today!
---
Corners - Witsel - Carrick and Baines to stay back, Khedira to lurk. Aim for the big heads of Ivanović, Garay and Chiellini
Freekicks - Indirect - Isco
Freekicks - Direct - Baines
Penalties - Baines

Teamtalk: Primarily we keep the ball and probe away until pressure tells, which is why we've picked 3 capable players in midfield to take control of that area, as well as Tevez dropping off the front to snap at the heels of their deeper player. Navas and Alaba to get through a lot of work out wide, dropping back in primarily to avoid us being caught out, then giving width to the attack.
CB: Godin to primarily rough up Soldado, Miranda and Savic acting as cover. If a 2nd strike plays one of them to cover depending on which side he gos, and to watch from wing attacks.
Wingers: A lot of work to get through today, make sure we're tight at the back primarily before bursting forward to provide width if it gets too narrow.
CM: Bender to be more defensive minded, take care to cover the wings. Banega to help keep hold of it, get working to make yourself available and keep the ball moving quickly. Kroos to be more advanced and look to combine with Tevez to confuse the DM/CB that may mark you two
Tevez: You and Llorente may be man marked. If so swap repeatedly and double up to drag their defense out of position so runs from deep have space to exploit. Look to work of him and hustle the defenders.
Llorente: Targetman, look to make it stick into feet and lay off to others before making room for a return.

Team Talk: 4-3-3 this week with Isco out, with this in mind we've gone with two box to box midfielders and strong wingers. Lavezzi can destroy them today as they are missing their first choice right back, Navas will not track back so you will have a free license. On our right we have Nasri finally making his debut up against Alaba, he is a player we know well and is undoubtably going to get forward. This will give you room to play in. At the back stay solid so we can break quickly. After a fantastic win last week lets build up some momentum and prove that we can win our title back this season!
de Gea - Control your box, you're the best goalkeeper in the league. Prove it today
Ivanović/Baines - It's likely to be Gaitan and Navas with Alaba supporting Gaitain, with this in mind staying back is the order of the game. Force them wide as we have the advantage over both Tevez and Llorente in the air. Navas is a player that likes to drift inside so by forcing him outwide he will get lost. Stay on your feet, we dont need to give away silly freekicks
Garay/Baines - If they go 4-4-1-1 then Chiellini to man mark Llorente, rough him up and get physical. He is a player that thrives when everything is on his terms so we wont give him that. Garay to sweep and pick up Tevez if needed. Make sure we get a head on any crosses that come in
Carrick - DCM again this week, stick to their CAM (Likely to be Tevez or Dzagoev). I want you to not allow them any room to play in. The ball gets to them... boom you're right there. As soon as we get the ball I want you to keep it simple and look for our box to box players
Khedira/Witsel - Engine room for both of you again today, go box to box and drive us forward. When they have the ball form a trio with Carrick in front of our back four. Khedira to pick up Kroos, you know him from internationals, and nerf his impact on the game. Witsel to pick up Bender if he gets forward, otherwise just be the third man and help the other two out. As soon as we get the ball get forward and give us an option. If you see an option to drive forward then do, look to link up with Nasri/Lavezzi/Soldado
Nasri/Lavezzi - As mentioned in the team talk we need you to run the game today. They are very week at right back today so Lavezzi to be our MVP. Keep driving at whoever does play there and alternate between driving inside and going outwide to the byline. Nasri on the otherflank to exploit the gaps left by Alaba as well as any space that Soldado provides us with. Make a real nuisance of yourselves today and win us the game
Soldado - Utilise your fantastic movement to give room for Lavezzi and Nasri to drive into as well as linking up with Witsel/Khedira as they drive forward. Get on the end of any and all through balls and crosses and tuck them away. Finally if you get a chance have a pop as Lopez is no de Gea!

Corners - Lavezzi, Carrick to stay back with Baines. Khedira and Witsel to alternate who stays back as well and who hovers outside the box. Aim for the big heads of Soldado, Chiellini, Garay and Ivanović

Come short for the ball if the space is there and when Sneijder or Lamela have it, spin and make runs behind for clever passes. If you get space, hit a shot, we know you can strike a football.

Manager's note: Great win last week but another tough test against the Falcons. We have one of the best attacking sides in the league and I want us to put that to good use today. Fluid 4-2-3-1 with plenty of movement from the AM's required. Creating chances for Lewandowski and supporting him to stop him being isolated is key for us. Two key players missing but I feel we have the squad to cover the injuries. We expect a similar 4-2-3-1 from Atalanta or a 4-3-3, so it's down to who works hardest as to who wins.
Guaita, stay in communication with your defence throughout and distribute the ball to players rather than space. Keep the ball and we will control the game.
Corchia, Clichy, Robben and Lamela could be real threats to us today, Robben especially when cutting inside. Clichy I want you to show him outside, give him the space on his right foot so he can only go outside or run into you. He is far less effective on his right foot so make sure he stays on it. Very one dimensional player so show him up. Corchia you're our fourth different right back of the season with Zabaleta's chronic injuries, but I want you to be close to Lamela, he hasn't the pace but he does have the trickery and passing game, so stay close and close him down.
Pepe/Vidic, Balotelli is a real enigma, I want Vidic to pressurise him and Pepe to antagonise him. He is a fiery character and if we starve him of possession he will get angry. He will lash out and get himself sent off. Pepe, you're the perfect man to wind him up, so do it. You dirty son of a bitch.
Martinez/Fernandinho, going to be tough but your focus is on Marchisio and one of Dembele/Sneijder. Martinez to be his usual imperious self at DM, if they play Sneijder as an out and out AM then track him and make sure he has no time on the ball. If they play roaming CM's in Marchisio and Dembele then I want you and Fernandinho to wait for them to come near you then cut them off and start our own attacks. On the ball, link with Hernanes. Fernandinho to be box to box, join Hernanes in getting forward but without the ball I want you to help Martinez out to make sure we're not overrun in midfield.
Hernanes, the link man. Link with the CM's, the wingers and Lewandowski. Be unmarkable by either De Rossi or Lucas, whoever is at DM. Drop deep or wide to drag the DM out of position if they are man marking you, be your tricky self when in possession to create space and opportunities for those around you, and occasionally switch with either winger to allow one of them to capitalise on the space in behind the DM you've left behind. Have a shot every now and again to keep Atalanta guessing.
Kagawa/Willian, Willian, you are a flair player, but I need you to torment Abate. He is very fast so you wont be able to outpace him, but drop deep, receive ball to feet and trick your way past him, or at least trick your way enough to get a cross in. Kagawa I know this isn't your favoured position but it's a role you've played plenty of times for Manchester United IRL and i'm hoping the workrate and trickery will be enough to give Cole a rough time at LB. Get crosses in for Lewandowski and cut inside to link with Hernanes to create space and chances for us, and problems for them.
Two strong CB's around you today, but Rami and Koscielny are susceptible to a strong centre forward who can hold up play and beat the man. You are that man. Shoot on sight.

Subs 70 mins:
If winning: Kagawa and Hernanes off, Romeu and Callejon on. Switch to 4-5-1 with Romeu an extra DM, absorb pressure and counter attack.
If drawing: Kagawa off, Callejon on. A more natural RW to get down the line, run at Cole and get crosses into the box. Push for the win.
If losing: Corchia, Martinez and Clichy off, Agger, Valero and Morata on. Agger joins Vidic and Pepe in a back three, Valero joins Fernandinho at CM with more creativity, and Morata joins Lewandowski upfront. Formation changes to 3-2-3-2 and push for goals.
