The Eagles are coming to Toronto!

Given Canada's laws regarding letting convicted felons into the country, this could be interesting.

I wonder if the NFL thought about this when the scheduled it or has already checked it out? If I were Eagles ownership and the Canucks wouldn't let my starting QB in, I'd be up in arms with the league. With an economic boost from the game on the line, I wonder if the Canadians will rubber stamp Vick's entry.

I'm awaiting the schedule this evening as there will be a few interesting/controversial points.

An article on ESPN noted that the opening Sunday is the 10th anniversary of 9/11 and they were contemplating putting the Jets vs Giants as a primetime matchup as they are due to meet this year by the rotational schedule.

It would be the classy move by the NFL if they put the Giants against the Jets that day. The game will be something else for sure.

I heard that too, it will be a Jets home game.

But we have the Jets in the pre season, I don't know why they would schedule a pre season match if they were going to be paired on 9/11.

It will be a nice thing to do if they do do it.

I think they should do it... and the Jets/Giants pre season game happens like every year, so it shouldn't have a bearing on the timing of the league game... and pre season is meaningless in comparison anyway such that you could have it consecutive weeks!

Giants @ Jets is in December. September 11th Jets play Dallas and Giants @ Redskins. And I've also heard the Packers will start against the Saints.

Correction: the Redskins are comming to Toronto.
