Re: WWE NXT Takeover - Toronto Results
That tag team title match was absolutely incredible, absolutely buzzing for DIY, love both men, this is the definition of fully deserved. They both have a great career in WWE.
The whole show was great, can't see Survivor Series being as good in all honesty.

Re: WWE NXT Takeover - Toronto Results
Wow. They took the title off Nakamura! Big shock. Got to be pushing the button on him in the main roster. Which is a shame as I think they should be doing that with Joe, but is mainly awesome because he is incredible. Or they want him to feud with someone longer so they're gonna have him in the rematch feud. I've thought he had Rumble potential for a while, but he seems to be the cornerstone of NXT in a time where they've lost a few quickly.
Can't believe they are gonna resist the urge to do Itami vs Nakamura on NXT. It would be huge for the Asian audience, but I guess if they can hold it off for something like a future Mania then it would be massive.

Re: WWE NXT Takeover - Toronto Results
I'm not so sure - Nakamura will be headlining the NXT Osaka show in December and according to reports WWE have no immediate plans to bring him to the main roster. I think he'll continue to feud with Joe maybe even winning back the belt at Osaka before starting a program with someone else, possibly Itami
I think Joe will be on the main show before Shinsuke

I didn't see they're doing Osaka. Oh there's no way he doesn't win there! And no way he isn't on the show. But it's not a Takeover so he might not have a title match.
Wonder whether they'll do a special over there.

As for the show; I thought the DIY win was great, but best match for me was either the opener or, just for how good the returnee looked, Asuka vs Mickie.

Re: WWE NXT Takeover - Toronto Results
After Osaka they head overseas to Australia and New Zealand so can't imagine they could do that without Nakamura as he would have been a huge ticket draw. Which really shows the problem NXT has at the moment that it struggles with any strength in depth. Aside from Nakamura the top guys are ex TNA stars, the female roster is very thin and even the tag division isn't a strong as it has been in the past. Add to that viewing figures and ticket sales are down I would say this is a crucial period for the brand and so it won't risk losing any of its bigger names until it can bring through some newer talent
Could be a great opportunity for Tommy End, Big Damo or Roderick Strong to really grab a top spot by making a great early impression

Not a bad match from top to bottom, and DIY vs Revival was incredible. Please fight forever.

There is expected to be an NXT Takeover : San Antonio the night before the Royal Rumble. I imagine somewhere smaller then the Alamodome will hold it.
