Bathite the thing is, if you have players which are rated high on there it might change ratings in your favour :L

Not really concerned about my NZ players mate, they are all top top drawer and of undeniable quality!

Unless I have misunderstood your point?

But this lock choice is making me do my nut. Im faced with that same old dilemma, I know who i like, but need your opinions, as you lot do the predictions!

Burgess even though he is going off form probably wouldn't start anyway, but he is much better than Phipps.

Rokocoko, Williams and Sivivatu are still good players and would be rated if they came from another country I don't rate Williams though but you can see where im coming from, but the fact they have players like Gear, Jane, Guildford and Ranger now, Rokocoko and Sivivatu will degrade down the pecking order just because those in the Gear catergory are younger and better.

Same as lock Chris Jack is fantastic and so is Anthony Boric, but Thorn, Donnolly and Whitelock you could class as streets ahead. Thorn and Whitelock is some partnership in my view.

Just another name Alister Hargreaves for you Bathite, South African who has been one of the best performers for the Sharks this season, same applies to South Africa as well with depth at lock Hargreaves, Van der Merwe are class but when you have Matfield, Botha and Bekker in your way you will have to do insanely well to start or even make the bench.

Just reporting what the Aussie press is saying.

Are you saying players are ranked according to country. Do people consider Guildford/Maitland better.

I think he is saying that its only cos NZ have such an embarrassment of riches that the likes of Rock get down rated. He would walk into most int teams. If he is saying that, I would agree with him!

I consider Guildford as a top eight winger in the world right now the guy is incredible, same applies to Maitland but he has just come on the scene done very well but still has years to mature into a real threat. Guildford is just getting better and better and is having a very good year, I wouldn't have him starting for New Zealand but certainly on the bench. It's just so hard to pick a New Zealand 22, you would be like Whitelock with Thorn erm no Donnoly with Thorn or Gear and Guildford on the wings but then you will change your mind to Jane. New Zealand have four possible full-backs, Jane, Toeava, Dagg and Muliaina, that's how hard it is and at centre aswell Nonu, Smith, McAlister, Sonny B and Fruean you just wouldn't know where to start, fly-half aswell what back-up to take Donald, Slade or Brett?

Just so so hard for us to pick let alone Graham Henry.

And sorry to give you another name Bathite, I could give you more like Simmons if you like.

Kahui is pants and won't get in above Fruean if he does I will be very very shocked and surprised.

You don't rate Guildford is a bit stupid aswell if you ask me, the kid is one of the best talents in New Zealand at the moment along with Whitelock at lock and Sonny B and Fruean as centres and Maitland all Crusaders players Laugh

Guildford and Maitland are class, I think Guildford is getting better and better while Maitland has also been up there amongst the top Super 15 performers but he is just coming onto the scene and World Cup will be too early for him, can see Guildford and Maitland being the New Zealand first choice wingers in four years time though.

Fruean seems better when I have seen them play also, but Sonny B just bounces through defences very hard to stop and his offloading skills are incredible, but we have talked about him before and it got boring.

Fruean is a real talent and if New Zealand didn't have Smith, Freuan would of made that 13 shirt his own due to his performances this year.

But like I said it is too hard to pick a New Zealand 11, a 22 and a whole squad if you ask me.

jeeese - Fruean is good but he will only be considered as teh partnership for SBW which is a great one.

Nonu, Smith, SBW & Kahui are likely ot go with fruean outside chance - don't get me wrong fruean is very good!

Too suggest Kahui is rubbish is a rather strong opinion Rowley.

I would have Fruean just above Kahui.

I expect the NZ centres in the WC to be Freaun, SBW, Nonu and Smith with SBW and Smith taking the field with the starting XV.

With Gear and Jane on the wings.

Kahui really hasn't done much this season though compared to other New Zealand centres, not forgetting a player Bathite usually mentions in Benson Stanley.

Nonu has been off form, Fruean and Sonny B on form, Smith has been his useful self. Gear and Jane is some force but it's just too hard, as Jane has played full-back most of the time for Hurricanes this season.

I just don't rate Kahui he doesn't do enough for me, when players like Fruean, Sonny B and Smith have much better skills overall, McAlister has been excellent this season but I believe he wouldn't get in the New Zealand side.

IMO...

Back 3 - Mils, Dagg, Jane, Sivi, Gear

Centre - SBW, Nonu, Smith, Kahui

Think Toeava will miss out, with injury meaning he's likely out of the TN. Kahui/Fruean is tight.

Ranger has had a pretty solid and decent season. Kahui has picked up as the season has gone on. I can't see Henry picking Freuan with his lack of caps compared to those two.

Him and Smith have been great, Toeava's power or Smiths lines and feet? All about balance I guess, both can cover wing and fullback so will be tight. Mils has really skipped this season.

End of some greats....Matfield, Bakkies, Mils, Roko, Jauzion, Du Preez (maybe less so)

Cant see Smith getting ahead of Dagg and Mils unless injury occurs.

Can't seen them not taking Freuan. Gives them a form combo that works well outside Carter as an option. That's the sort of thing national coaches must dream of

Some, there are a few more; Servat probably won't make another WC, Nallet, Hari, S Williams, S Jones, Sharpe, BOD, O'Gara.

I reckon Bakies will make one more being only 31
