How do you know that it's dominated by Welsh fans voting? I can't see the breakdown of the votes.
If it was true then Roberts would surely have beaten McCaw to the best player award?

The Guardian is an English paper, I would presume most voters were English.

LOL typical English arrogance. Assume the voters are all Welsh because our players got recognition over their's. If the villian vote is anything to go by, most of the voters are South African .

Re: Nice article on the RWC 2011
I thought it was encouraging to remind our Welsh posters the heights we reached last year.
We played great rugby at the World Cup. We were all so proud of our lads, then we pushed on to another grand slam.
Wales hit some lofty targets last season we rightfully had some high expectations.
A poor start to this season with the regions has seen fans heads drop a great deal.
Lets hope we can hold our heads high come December.

I hope if the poll was held again now ,with the benefit of a year to think it through and watch the benefits of a more progressive SA combinator, the SA fans who voted Lawrence as a villain would have better perspective and vote the entire SA management and coaching team as villians internally.

Come on AWOG, that combinator word was funny at first, but an alleged student of the English language should know better. It's a Ghostly (sorry ghastly) mistake to make for a pedant like you who likes to correct poor English too.
