They won yesterday at Birmingham, I was at the game and the defence kept a clean sheet so onwards and upwards for Super Mick and the Tractor boys!

You just need to keep it up and hope he gets money to spend in Jan and dont end up with another influx of loanee's, thats what killed us when we went down, we had the likes of Gow and Siberiski who never wanted to be here and the ones that wanted to be here and stay Rodent never played.

Re: The official "Ipswich climb the championship table" thread
Ipswich will be fine with Super Mick and Terry Connor there. I still regret the day he was sacked at Wolves, big mistake in my eyes, and now it doesn't feel like my club anymore, they seem to have lost the fight they had when Mick was there. I still feel there was more to it than pure results as we weren't that far adrift from safety, a win or two and we would have been 14th or so. Morgan falling out with him was more the case I think.
Still, good luck to Ipswich, now my 2nd favourite team. I for one will always give Mick a good reception when he comes back to the Molineux, and I know my fellow Wolves fans will too!

It's going well. We won 2-1 today after the reality check midweek but great bouncebackability from the boys today. Now off the bottom and 2 points off Barnsley in 21st

Burnley, Austin was completely taken out of the game by our defence. Daryl Murphy and DJ Campbell scored.

You must only have about 10 players who are actually contracted to the club! You're trying to challenge our season under Roeder for the amount of loans

I went to the game on NYD, worst home game under Mick by far. Reo-coker kept passing sideways and there was no creativity. CMS was very good, had a good day for once! Impressed with Orlandi and Lua Lua as well and Hammond ran the game.
We signed Frank Nouble as well as Mcgoldrick and Mclean, not sure on how they will do to be honest

With those signings it makes me wonder if DJ Campbell will be returning to you lot. I know a lot of championship sides are interested in him.

Clegg sold Jordan Rhodes for £800k and now he is worth £8m, that is where he messed up the most.

You were shocking, lucky to win that game. Can't even beat 9 men easily, there is no way you are getting promoted this season or next.

Bad day for Norwich all round yesterday.
First team lose at Wigan and then the reserves lose at the rivals!
Seriously tho I like big Mick McCarthy, he'll sort out the mess Clegg made

Swiss Ramble @SwissRamble 1h
#itfc £16.0m loss was 3rd largest in Championship in season 2011/12, only surpassed by Leicester £29.7m and West Ham £25.5m.
Swiss Ramble @SwissRamble 56m
#itfc 2012 gross debt rose £5.9m to £72.5m (2011 £66.6m) – almost all of this is owed to various Marcus Evans’ companies.
Gotta hurt

We may not be focking loaded anymore but we keep on winning. Captain Carlos with a 25 yarder in the last minute to win at Derby today. 14th in the table.

Isn't he 100% going to Ipswich though in July?
Be funny if he scores a lot for Forest gets them promoted, and Forest want to keep him but can't because he has already agreed to sign for Ipswich!

Great result for Ipswich today against the 6th(at best) team in the west midlands.
McCarthy done well there, considering where Wolves are.

Wolves loss is Ipswich gain I guess.
Am sure you will be pushing for play offs next season.
Always liked McCarthy.
Probably my favourite irish manager, after Big Jack.

Today's attendance is a magnificent 21,595. Unbelievable support from the #YellowArmy.
At a U18 game...
Ipswich Town's average home attendance in the Championship is 17,077...
