FA Cup 2nd round 2012/13
Preston North End v Gillingham
Bury v Southend United
Sheffield United v Port Vale
Carlisle United v AFC Bournemouth
Crewe Alexandra v Burton Albion or Altrincham
Northampton Town or Bradford City v Brentford
Luton Town or Nuneaton Town v Dorchester Town
Alfreton Town v Gloucester City or Leyton Orient
Oldham Athletic v Doncaster Rovers
Braintree Town or Tranmere v Chesterfield
Rotherham United v Notts County
Cheltenham Town v Hereford United
Guiseley or Barrow v Macclesfield Town
Accrington Stanley v Oxford United
Lincoln City or Walsall v Mansfield Town or Slough Town
Harrogate Town v Hastings United
Coventry City v Morecambe or Rochdale
Cambridge City or MK Dons v York City or AFC Wimbledon
Crawley Town v Chelmsford City
Fleetwood Town v Aldershot Town
Some good games there. 100% there will be at least 3 non league sides in the 3rd round. Either Harrogate, Hastings, Guiseley, Barrow, Macclesfield, Luton, Nuneaton or Dorchester. All the best to them.
Massive chance of finally getting the game we have all been waiting for. AFC Wimbledon vs MK Dons. Every single person in the country im sure will be routing Wimbledon on so they can beat the fake club. For the first time ever in history.
Good luck to all sides hope to welcome one of you to the fantastic AMEX Stadium in January.

They're all trying to lose so they don't have to visit that dump.

Why do you really want to get Brighton Olly?
Wouldnt you want to get a side you hate, like Ipswich

Let's hope this doesn't happen and it ends up being Cambridge City vs York. I really really don't want to play Franchise FC yet.

Yer I read about that. But surely due to the history the you have with the FA Cup you wouldn't mind it being MK Dons. Plus if this tie did happen, it will surely be on tele so there will be extra £££££ in revenue

Yes the revenue would be nice but its still too fresh in the memory. Its only been 10 years. I fear that with all the feelings and emotions we may lose our dignity! Plus I wouldn't want to give Winkleman my money. Plus Milton Keynes is a hovel. Apologies to anyone who lives there.

Well that would make sense wouldn't it
However! With our current league form, I would prefer not to have the distraction of the cup at this moment in time. As much as I love the FA Cup and the 14th May 1988 is still one of the best days of my life I would prefer to concentrate on the league and get some points on the board!!

Re: FA Cup 2nd round 2012/13
When you say distraction of the cup, Round 4 is still in January, there's scope for a big 3rd or 4th Round tie at say Arsenal/Chelsea/Tottenham where you'd earn some good gate money, to spend in the transfer window/loan window, and benefit the 2nd half of the season. At least that's how I see it for Crawley Town.

Yeh that's a fair point. You have had a better start to the season than we have though. We are in serious danger of having to fight relegation from the football league already and its only our second season! I just don't want the possiblity of a big money game to distract us from our main job.
Flippin' 'eck I sound pessimistic and grumpy!! Lets get to the 3rd round then draw Liverpool! That would be sweet

Re: FA Cup 2nd round 2012/13
Chelmsford City's cup run ended in a whimper, not a single shot on target and only one badly scuffed 50 yard shot all game in their 3-0 defeat to Crawley Town.
But on a plus side for me, Crawley make the 3rd Round for only the 4th time ever, but the 3rd time in 3 seasons
