My Man Utd team for next season
Obviously I'm not SAF, but with the summer swiftly approaching and the rumour mill in full swing here's what I would put out as a first 11 and subs for next season:
De Gea
Raphael, Smalling, Vidic, Fabio,
Nani, De Rossi, Costa, Valencia
Rooney, Hernandez
Subs
Fletcher
Evans
Macheda
O Shea
Park
Anderson
Lindegaard
Now obviously there's glaring ommisions such as Rio, but however great he has been he's becoming increasingly injured more than fit, Giggs and Scholes if still in the squad will become increasingly more periphral players.
I though think that'd be a cracking Utd team that's full of pace and energy, and more importantly back to the Utd mentality of passing and attacking.

We would obviously have to buy a keeper, and i would prefer either
De Gea or Neuer. I still think Evra would still be at the club though to play left back. We do need a central attacking midfielder aswell.

Evra I can see Utd cashing in on while he'd still make a fair few quid on.
I plumped for Douglas Costa for the attacking midfielder role, Fergie's been keen for a while and I think they'll go back for him over the summer.

Yeah, there seems to be some sort of courting between the parties for Costa, I think it could work out. I think we could be short on strikers if Berbatov leaves, I don't think Macheda is good enough.

Personally i'd like to see a place for Danny Wellbeck in and around the first team squad next season. He's come on leaps and bounds at Sunderland.

He might be the replacement for Berba then if he leaves. Do we think any players from the reserves will be making the step up?

I've always heard really good things about Petrucci on the MUFC supporters forums and Youtube montages, hopefully it's nearly his time to step up and shine.
Oliver Gill has made a few bench apperances, if Rio continues to struggle and no signings are made we could see more of the same from him.
Also Joshua King, Ravel Morrison and Will Keane are looking good prospects.

As well as those mentioned then Gyliano van Velzen and Paul Pogba are the two that get talked about the most so they may start to see a few games league Cup wise etc.
Ravel is meant to be quite a badboy off the pitch, don't know if he's worth the risk.

Yeah i've heard Pogba is good enough to maybe start making some appearances, and also Morrison, if his attitude is sorted out.

Ferdinand isn't done with his career yet, although the season after next I believe that CB spot will be Chris Smalling's.

Re: My Man Utd team for next season
There won't be wholesale changes... Obviously we need a keeper but apart from that we are in good shape. I'd like to see Modric in a red shirt but other than that
Starting 11 for charity shield vs Stoke will be
De gea
Fabio
Rio
Vidic
Evra
Fletcher
Modric
Toni
Giggs
Rooney
Chicharito

Re: My Man Utd team for next season
I can only see Fergie making a couple of signings this summer. I'd be more than happy if the rumours come to fruition and Sneijder is bought in.
My team for next year would be as follows.
Lindergaard
Rafael - If he has a good pre season and remains inury free.
Ferdinand - Has proven when playing that he's still a class act.
Vidic (c)
Evra - talk of selling him is crazy!
Valencia
Sneijder
Flecther/Carrick
Nani
Rooney
Hernandez
