Here it is!! 2012 606v2 Awards Categories!! Answers by Dec 10th. Time's ticking away
First topic message reminder :
Ok boys and gals,
As promised, I have put together 13 categories for you to pick from. I used what I felt were the best questions on offer. Apologies in advance for the categories provided that I didn't include. Some of them were really great but I wanted to make sure the answer was a poster and not say, a thread, which is harder for people to remember.
I have decided to avoid offensive categories, seeing as it is almost Xmas.
Just so you know: You CAN vote for the same poster in multiple categories. Obviously some will warrant a few awards, but the people will have the final say
1. The Best Threads Award: Whose articles have you most enjoyed reading in 2012?
2. WUM of the year Award: They tickle and they torment. Who has done it best in 2012?
3. Most Loved Poster: We love him and we need him on our forum. Who is 606 most beloved poster?
4. Best Newcomer Award: Honouring the 2012 newcomers. Who is this year’s favourite rookie?
5. Most Knowledgeable Poster: Whose boxing knowledge raises our collective IQ the most?
6. Unsung Hero Award: Which poster hasn’t received the credit you feel they deserve? Show it now.
7. Guilty Pleasure Award: Who, despite your best senses telling you otherwise, do you secretly love seeing post? I won’t tell, I promise.
8. Most Influential Poster: When they type we listen. Which posters have the most influence on our great forum?
9. Feistiest Poster Award: Who is the poster most likely to go to war on the forum?
10. Most Placid Poster: Don't bother trying to annoy this guy, for they won't bite.
11. Funniest Poster Award: Chuckle chuckle. Who makes us laugh the most?
12. Broken Record Award: Who sticks to a single topic/boxer more than any other?
And finally, the big one:
13.The HumanWindmill Poster of the Year Award: In honour of the late great Windy, we ask: who has been the best overall poster this year?
Please note: You can vote for Windy if you see fit to.
So, answers by December 10th, please.
The following rules apply:
1. When you PM me your answers, please do so in single file list, with answers on their own. eg.
Windy
Seanusarrilius
Azania
Steffan
This will make tallying a lot easier for me.
2. Please do not discuss your nominations below. By all means laugh and joke about whatever, but let's keep the suspense if possible, otherwise what's the point?
3. You cannot vote for yourself. This is a chance for us to show our appreciation for each other, so let's do that?
Ok, can't think of any other points. All common sense really. After December 10th I will post a date for the ceremony. I will refresh this thread throughout the week so everyone sees it. Feel free to do the same.
Really hope you like the questions.
Cheers guys,
Seanus

No need to be embarrassed mate, I've got two pals that are male nurses - having a sissy job doesn't make you a sissy.

Isn't saying their name, after saying you work for the biggest hotel in Leeds, good publicity?.... Or is it, they know you're bit of a plank and don't want to be associated with your name for fear of being fire bombed, therefore, they have warned you to keep your gob shut?

I believe they have a problem with that in Yorkshire, so quite possibly.

I have a property in Roundhay, just near the park, was down by the lake with my wife & little boy this morning (build your own breakfast in the lakeside cafe - awesome). I lived in headingley for 7 years at uni, then otley, now in a village called Ledsham if you know it? Very quiet but only 25 minute drive to town.
Nothing wrong with grooming, somebody's gotta take Jimmy Saviles place in Yorkshire.

It's a decent part of town. Like I say got a place there, and my mate lives on Street Lane so I get down the Deer Park pub a bit. You must be walking bloody quick to get from there to Queens in 10 mins!
