The Inaugural 606v2 End of Year Awards - Categories

Thank you everyone for your submission of categories for the Inaugural 606v2 End of Year Awards. There were over 50 categories to choose from but I gave priority to the most popular ones. I have selected 17 categories from the ones you listed which means 17 awards will be up for grabs in a weeks time. Without further adieu, here are the categories for the Inaugural 606v2 End of Year Awards...

11. The Bryce Award (Moans about the refs the most)

12. The Rough Diamond Award (Heart is right place but has a total lack of diplomacy)

14. Best Wales vs England Argument of the Year Award

15. The PDivvy Award (spouts off a lot but no one nows what they're on about)

16. The Billy no Mates award (most views, lest replies)

17. The Most Wired Poster Award (Always online)

As suggested by Biltong I think think if each award has its own smiley then winners will have something to show off as their avatar if they win an award. Award ceremony will be the 22/12/12 as I am busy the night of the 23rd. Happy nominating!!

14. Best Wales vs England Argument of the Year Award


This is going to be a tough one, but I think it was the thread on the Scotland vs Australia match, as I am sure than become one of the best ENgland vs Wales threads

Very exciting but off the top of my head I don't think I could name a single poster... proper mind balnk!!!

Can this be made a sticky mods?

2. Most Positive Contributor Award

I would nominate Red_Stag for his sadly more and more infrequent but always insightful thoughts. Always wants to discuss things patiently and rationally. Always has his own opinion which he will defend with insight.

4. MOD Award

This has to go to Biltong for that evening he was left manning his post alone against all comers- he did very well. Just goes to show what a dedicated effort the MODs make behind the scenes to try and make this forum run because its often a difficult and unappreciated role.
