A Technical Fantasy Question
So if a trade was accepted yesterday involving one player from each team and one of them plays this Thursday and the other player plays on Sunday, who gets the points from each player?

Re: A Technical Fantasy Question
I think, if the trade goes through before thursday night game then you each get your player. If it goes through after thursday night game then the trade won't go through until next week. This happened to me last year.

agreed.
If a trade partly involves a player who is playing on TNF then it won't go through until Tuesday morning after the gameweek, such that each side keeps the trade players for one extra gameweek.

Re: A Technical Fantasy Question
Another one.
Does anyone know how the tie breakers work? I've got a situation in another league where two teams have the same w\l record and have a 1-1 record against each other, yet the team that has scored fewer points sits higher in the standings.
Any ideas?

Is there not a rule page somewhere in your league that would explain the tiebreakers?

There probably is a rule package but I'm at work so I can't access it. They have a 1-1 record against each other.

Re: A Technical Fantasy Question
As it's a 10 team division you've not played them all twice could it be strength of schedule?

Re: A Technical Fantasy Question
Just checked the league and it says that tiebreakers are decided by head-to-head results, so that's useless as they're 1-1 against each other.

Re: A Technical Fantasy Question
I've been managing the East league on here this year and was trying to find out the answer to this very question the other week and couldn't find it anywhere on the NFL website. All I could find was the head-to-head tiebreaker.
Like many of the decisions the NFL makes, it appears that this might be another thing that they just make up as they go along.....

Re: A Technical Fantasy Question
These are the tiebreakers for one of my fleaflicker ones:
1.Best head-to-head record
2.Best division record (same division only)
3.Most average points/game
4.Hardest schedule (record)
5.Hardest schedule (points)
You check their strength of schedule if you were really bothered.

Surely decided by point 3 before you need to look at the schedules though. Seeing as it's the team with the fewer points, could it be that points scored in the head-to-head are actually taken into account?
We thought we were going to have a similar situation in one of the leagues I'm in - 6 teams with identical records fighting for 2, 3 & 4th. But the LM had set tie-breakers to only be points scored so made it a lot easier. Seems fairer to over the course of the season, but as I got 3rd I probably would say that.

Re: A Technical Fantasy Question
Would be if all of those tiebreakers are being used in the NFL.com fantasy league Pr4wn is talking about, however he said it only says head-to-head record and clearly average points isn't involved without any other knowledge of the situation my guesses would be either strength of schedule or maybe highest single week score. Fleaflicker explains how it solves any tie breakers when you're looking at who's going to make the playoffs.SuperTanker wrote:Derbyblue wrote:These are the tiebreakers for one of my fleaflicker ones:

Re: A Technical Fantasy Question
I would like to know why NFL.com keeps going on about the fantasy playoffs now being in play... despite the fact that standard NFL.com leagues have one week to play in the regular season...

Head to head I think. That's what mine is and I didn't change it.
