Dumbest Man of the Autumn series? - CONGRATULATIONS Chris Robshaw
Chris Robshaw has beaten Rob Howley and Rhys Priestland to the coveted Dumbest man of the autumn award.
It has been a long time since the hallowed turf of Twickenham has seen a decision this monumentally farcically idiotic.
I would even go so far as to have Robshaw investigated to see if he is part of an illegal South African betting ring.
PROPER DOUGHNUT!!!

Remember Italy v Wales in 2007 RL? A lineout with time running out doesn't automatically mean try, 5 points thankuverymuch. Bad decision tho..

Very poor comparison.
Italy v Wales, the clock was 80m and the ref said, "yes there's time".
Robshaw opted for goal at 78 minutes.

Correction - the Tongan who just got yellow carded and the penalty reversed on 78 minutes while they are winning 15 - 21

His reign didn't last long.
Tonga six points up over Scotland, two minutes to go and they win a penalty in their own half. Tonga 19 runs in and dump tackles a Scot after the referee has already blown his whistle for the penalty!
Penalty reversed, yellow card, and 13-man Tonga (now back to 14) defending on their own tryline with the last play of the game. If they concede a try, he's cost them the match. Simple as that.

Corrtection again.
The Tongan who tried the flick pass behind his back to a Scottish player when the clock was red and he could have kicked it out to win.
They win anyway though.

Yeah you have to remember this is scotland they are playing ...not much threat of conceeding 5 points even if you hand them the ball in your own goal area

No real argument against it that was a very poor decision! Even Danny Care and Mike Brown next to him couldn't hide their confusion.

Even if Scotland have a dominant scrum on 5m playing against 13 men apparently.
Yet they scored 3 tries against the ABs.
Also, Visser's defence has to be questioned if you think he should be playing for the Lions this summer.

Until we see what the 6N brings, I want to see Tomi Bo and Shane Gilroy as Lions wings.
Nobody else deserves to be anywhere NEAR the squad ATM.

Gilroy was fantastic, but until he randomly starts appearing at 9,10,12,13,15 and number 8, he will never be like the dancing midget.

Ah, there's no need to compare him to anyone else although I see the comparison in terms of style. He's a guy who utilises great agility and a wonderful step to squirm through gaps and tackles he shouldn't.
But no real need to compare him to anyone else. Just let him forge his own path.
