Barrett has been injured most of the year, and Roode has put on some phenominal matches.

No contest.

Why did 4 people vote for Barrett?

Just asking if anyone can justify it.....

I don't really think anyone could antlord, sure he's a decent performer but in regards to the last 12 months Roode should be a be a contender to go all the way!

Im the 5th person to vote for Barrett.

I dont watch TNA so cant judge Roode, from what ive seen of Barrett when he hasnt been injured is that he impresses me on the stick, he carries himself with confidence and swagger and is a world champion waiting to happen.

Granted that if you don't watch TNA you can't vote for roode likewise in the earlier rounds why i couldn't vote for anyone from ROH.

Agree that Barrett is strong on the mic he's in that small category of guys just under the main event that need that extra push to break through the glass cealing

Ravisher Roberto Roode should be the biggest star in TNA right now, he should be must see, he's not though, is that TNA's fault or his? I still can't get over the complete balls up the made of him at Bound For Glory last year

TNA had a massive opportunity to make roode a huge star the build up was done excellently and i finally thought this is TNA getting something right for a change, until like gaff said they completely ballsed it up! The whole angle had an HBK boyhood dream feel to it and I was completely sold but because of they way BFG and the weeks after played out i find myself not liking roode as much as as i should, thanks TNA

Not sure that's necessarily a fair argument. It's like having a poll saying "Who's the better football team - Ipswich Town or Cambridge City" and saying "I've voted for Cambridge because I'm a season ticket holder there, and I've not seen Ipswich this season".

I don't watch TNA and Barrett is one of my Favorite guys in WWE.

So clear cut Barrett for me. Although when i get some time, i will watch a few of Roode's matches on Youtube he does sound quite good.

I disagree with that. The poll is on 'who has created the best work over the last 12 months' NOT 'who is the best in general'. Cambridge might have come on leaps and bounds and really improved over 12 months, whereas Ipswich have sacked their manager and are floundering near the foot of the table and have gone backwards over the last 12 months.

Wade Barrett has broken out of being part of 2 stables into becoming an established midcard wrestler who has held the IC title and engaged in fueds with Randy Orton and Sheamus, 2 main event caliber wrestlers. Barrett has gone from nothing to something in a very short space of time whereas Bobby Roode has been on the scene for a long time and has only recently received a big push. Therefore i think im quite within my rights to vote for Barrett based on his breakout year and impressive rise to the cusp of the main event picture.

I see what you're saying, but some people's reason for voting Barrett is "I don't watch TNA". If that's the case, how can you make an informed decision?

Its obviously not an informed decision, but a decision nonetheless. Its like only watching one act performing on the X-Factor and voting for them without seeing any of the other acts. You voted for that person because you liked what you saw and it doesnt matter if you didnt watch the other guys regardless of how good or bad they were.

If people dont watch TNA and have only seen Barrett, then i dont see the problem in them voting for Barrett.

If Drew McIntyre was up against Jeff Hardy would you vote for Drew because you don't watch TNA?

I voted for Barrett because a)I don't watch TNA and b) I like Barrett.

The other day I think it was Austin Aries against Kofi Kingston. I don't watch TNA so couldn't vote for Aries and I don't like Kingston so I didn't vote for either of them that time.

Drew and Barrett have been like chalk and cheese over the last 12 months so its a poor example AntLord. Barrett atleast warrants a vote whereas Drew doesnt, and as i dont watch TNA i probably just wouldnt vote.

Drew without a doubt!!! What's Jeff done this year? At least with Drew you get a great balance, his Moonsault powerbomb from the top rope is unrivaled and there's not enough Australians in Wrestling these days

Vote Drew G'day

As the Ipswich town fan of this forum, we are actually starting to hit some form thanks to Super Mick McCarthy but we have been very poor for the last 11 months.

That maybe the case, but I think that Villa should be wary. We have players who could cause problems for their young defence
