V2 WWC 2012 The Knockout Stages Last 8- Match 3
Match two saw the defending WWC champion CM Punk wipe the floor with Aries to end his tournament and process into the semi finals
Next up in the last 8 is match 3

Hey, I got first vote!
Ziggles, ultimately down to his selling and Roode's poor booking.

Ziggles has been a workhorse including double duty at PPV's and Bobby has been a little boring.

Roode - the last man standing match with Storm was awesome!!!

Re: V2 WWC 2012 The Knockout Stages Last 8- Match 3
I cannot seperate these two!
Roode has been awesome all year and THAT last man standing match was potentially match of the year (That or the End of an Era HIAC). Ziggler is a work horse who has steadily moved up and is ready to break through. Can I vote for both?

Dolph is so good at selling, he could sell alcohol to CM Punk

Dolph Ziggler could sell custom made boots to Brimstone.
No that's not it....
Dolph Ziggler could sell Brooke Hogan to Hulk Hogan.
Dammit that's not it either!

Went for Roode, I find Ziggler an over selling HBK wannabe. The guys needed Vickie hanging around to do his mic work, don't get me wrong the guys good, just not as good as Roode this year.

I havent watched TNA or WWE for about 18 months now, so im gonna base this on who i think has the best name....
Dolph Ziggler is a bit like Dirk Diggler.
Bobby Roode is a bit like Ravishing Rick Rude.
Ziggler/Diggler wins it for me.

Worse logic has got people World Titles
I'm going for Roode, didn't watch TNA at all this year until around August time and by that time most of his good work was long by him, I've saw bits and bobs of his work though thanks to YouTube, while I think he suffered more harm than good from the debacle that was BFG 11 I think he performs to a higher standard than Ziggler, Roode knows how to structure a match where as Dolph seems to structure a bump around a match, they'd be great opponents

Couldn't agree more.
Plus Bobby Roode deserves to win this just for sorting his hair out.

Its almost to close to call, but I lumped for Roode. He's was TNA champ most of the year, then had a great fued with Aries and MOTY candidate with Storm at BFG.

Look at how Roode took to his new hair compared to the way Ziggler took to his
His hair cut was the only thing he ever no sold

Dolph was probably only in the barber's that time for a touch up to his bleached blonde locks but took so many ridiculous bumps in the chair that he ended up looking like a Randy Orton wannabe.

That would have been awesome! Then Shawn Michaels could show up sporting his early 90's mullet and chuck Dolph through the window.

I miss the mullet, nothing said Main Eventer back in the day than a mullet, who'd do well with a Mullet in 2012

Sting had a ledge mullet back in the day.
I reckon Daniel Bryan would rock the sh*t out of a mullet these days. He'd be an actual goat.

I voted for Ziggler because I found Roode's title reign to be a real let down - booked weakly and then the real pay off (Roode v Storm) never happened!! Ziggler started off the year well being involved with Zack Ryder in his US title hunt, did a credible job with Punk at the RR and has ended the year well with the briefcase.
I have found him entertaining, but, overall, there is just a big sense that Roode could have been better than he really was. Maybe that is clouding me to what he did but...

I'll be honest on this one, for me I'm just neither of their biggest fans, both just somehow seem to be lacking in something that separates them from the best in the business and whilst they both are obviously extremely talented neither quite have that spark in my opinion.

Agree about Ziggler I've said before that dolph is lacking that something special that will ever truely get him over with the mass audience, he will be a WHC at somepoint but I don't think he'll ever be the man or close to being the man. For me a real star needs to do more than convincingly take a bump and to be brutally honest that's the only thing in zigglers locker that separates him from the mass of mid carders.
Roode on the other had could be and should be a major asset to TNA he's a very solid worker, portrays emotion in the ring excellently and talks with confidence and charisma he certainly does have that something special and I just don't beleive TNA were ever truely behind his push and title run, they really needed to just commit to the guy and say this is a big star and book him accordingly, I know people will say he was TNA's longest reigning champion but I still think they ever truely believed him.

I don't think Ziggler is far away, like you too I do sense he's lacking something but I honestly feel that people who don't get him, myself included would start getting him if he used the SuperKick and dropped Vickie

Had to go for Roode, I really rate Ziggler but Roode is the all round package, perhaps more so than Ziggler and during his title reign helped carry TNA for there most sucessful period in years, plus his BFG match vs Storm was brutal.
