Footballing Superstitions Empty Footballing Superstitions

With some big matches coming up this weekend they'll be plenty of people with their fingers crossed or lucky shirt on, but what are some of your funny footballing superstitions?

For example I play on a Saturday and I have to start getting ready exactly three hours before kick off and I have to do it in exactly the same way every week! Shower, shave, trim nails, get dressed, sort kit bag, clean boots and have a cup of tea, in that order every Saturday

Or when I'm watching spurs I have to sit in the same place on the sofa and can't wear team colours on the day of a match!

Over to you...

i get abit dubious about where i watch games, if i go to a mates house and united lose then i wont go back. same with certain pubs being lucky/unlucky, its a good job i support a good team or else i wouldnt have many places left to go!!!

I've got a mate who doesn't shave if his team wins and will then clean shave as soon as they lose, he's a QPR fan so been clean shaven for quite some time now Laugh

Whenever I play football (I'm a GK) I always touch each post wit my right then left hand and then jump and touch the bar before the game starts. And do the same whenever my team scores.

Dunno why, just do
