- The 2012 TNA Final Resolution pay-per-view kicks off with a Jeff Hardy video package for tonight's main event.

- We're live from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida as the pyro goes off. Todd Keneley welcomes us to the pay-per-view and he's joined by Mike Tenay and Taz.

"The Cowboy" James Storm makes his way out to kick things off tonight, dressed to compete. He says that he promised to have Jeff Hardy's back on Impact, and that's exactly what happened. He talks about Bobby Roode giving the Aces & Eights a thumbs up, and challenges him to come down to the ring so he can look him right in the eyes, before he can punch him right in the face. He's starts to say "sorry, about your damn..." but is interrupted not by Bobby Roode, but by Kazarian!

Kaz comes out and the crowd starts chanting "where's your boyfriend?" He talks about James Storm being a giant man-baby, and a drunk to top it all off. He tells him to cut his dime store Toby Keith routine and ride off into the sunshine. James Storm says that Kaz had all day long to think of a promo, and he came up with absolute crap. He says that where he comes from, they don't like the sunshine because they're too busy drinking the moonshine and the crowd chants "whoop his ass". Storm challenges Kaz to the match, but tells him to go ask his boyfriend first, and the crowd really loves that. Kaz says there's no referee and the match isn't sanctioned. A referee stops Kaz on the ramp, and this match is on!

(1) James Storm vs. Kazarian

This match doesn't start right away, as Storm jumps his opponent on the ramp. They brawl around the ring until rolling in and getting this underway. Kaz backs Storm into the corner and stomps away. After a neckbreaker he locks in a chinlock, but Storm feeds off the crowd and shakes the hold. Kaz responds by throwing him from the ring and joining him back on the outside. Storm's head echoes off the steel ring steps, and Kaz keeps up his pressure by delivering an ax handle from the apron.

Back in the ring Kazarian goes back to the side headlock and is in total control of this match. The crowd once again wills Storm into this match and he throws elbows into his opponents gut until Kaz releases the hold. Storm fires off with right hand after right hand until Kaz rolls under the bottom rope. Storm is fired up, but Kaz comes out of nowhere with a springboard DDT.

Both men slowly get to their feet, and Storm lands Closing Time. Storm charges up for the Last Call superkick, but Kaz ducks under it and goes for Fade to Black. Storm getse free and hits the superkick for the win!

Winner: James Storm

After the match Storm grabs a mic and finishes his trademark: "Sorry, about your damn luck!"

(2) X-Division Championship Match
Rob Van Dam (c) vs. Kenny King

Kenny King and RVD adhere to the Code of Honor, and this title match is on! The two lock up and Van Dam gets the better of it with a side headlock. King escapes the hold and Van Dam rolls him up for a quick two-count. They lock up again, and RVD goes back to the headlock. King escapes yet again, and off the ropes gets a pinning combination for his own two-count.

The two both rebound off the ropes several times, leapfrogging over the other and showing off. King catches RVD's gut kick, but he turns it into the float-over back kick. King doesn't take this well, and does the exact same thing to RVD! Van Dam leaves the ring to clear his head, and the two are starring each other down on an even playing field.

The Champion rolls back into the ring and the two lock up, with Van Dam taking King down to the mat. He goes up to the top rope, but King leaps up from ring and plants him with a huge kick to the side of the head! The crowd chants "holy Poopie!" as Van Dam goes flying into the barricade. King gets ahold of a camera and yells "did you just see that" as the announce team puts over his incredible athleticism.

King goes to the outside and rolls the Champion back into the ring, but can't get the pin. They trade right hands, before trading pinning combinations. Neither man can get the win, and they start trading striking combinations with some big kicks. The crowd chants "this is awesome" as they go back to trading right hand after right hand. King ducks under a big hand and hits Van Dam with a sidewalk slam. He goes off the springboard for a splash, but the Champion gets his knees up!

Kenny King backs up into the corner, still holding his gut, and Van Dam hits him with the signature monkey flip. Rolling Thunder connects and Van Dam goes high rent, looking for the Frog Splash. Kenny King kips up and leaps to the top rope, only to get thrown back down by the Champ. He lands on his feet, but eats a side kick from Van Dam off the top rope. Van Dam does his signature pose and heads up top for the Five Star, but King rolls out of the way! King tries for the Royal Flush (Fireman's Carry cutter), but Van Dam rolls him up with the body scissors and gets the pin.

Winner and still champion: Rob Van Dam

JB is backstage and introduces us to his guest at this time, Christopher Daniels. Daniels says the fact that he's faced AJ more than anybody else isn't hyperbole, it's a fact. Saying they've wrestled all around the world isn't hyperbole, it's just a fact. He brings up World Title matches, the Ultimate X and Ironman battles, but says that was all a prologue to tonight's war. He says history is written by the winners, and tonight they make history.

(3) TNA World Tag Team Championship Match
Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez (c) vs. Matt Morgan & Joey Ryan

Chavo Guerrero starts this match off against Joey Ryan, and he immediately grounds him with the mat game. Chavo gets a tag to Hernandez who bullies Ryan by throwing him around the ring. Chavo back in but Ryan gets the tag to big Matt Morgan. Chavo thinks better of this exchange, and tags in his partner.

Morgan and Hernandez stare each other down as the crowd eats up the tension between the two. The trade exchanges coming off the ropes, trying to knock each other down. Morgan tells Hernandez to do it again, but nails him with a big clothesline. In comes Joey Ryan, but he gets caught by Supermex and held in a delayed vertical suplex for a good twenty seconds! In comes Chavo Guerrero off the tag, and gets a back suplex for two. Matt Morgan palms Chavo's head like a basketball and throws him straight into the top turnbuckle.

Ryan gets the tag out, and Morgan takes him picking apart Chavo Guerrero. A clothesline turns the champion inside-out, and Joey Ryan gets back into the match. Side headlock takes things back to the ground game, but Chavo gets free, only to run into another clothesline. Matt Morgan makes the tag chokes Chavo in the ropes until the referee forces him to break the hold. The heels keep up the pressure with quick tags, keeping Guerrero from making the tag.

Eventually the crowd wills Chavo back into the match, and he drops Joey Ryan with a hurricanrana, sending him flying into the second rope. Hot tag to Hernandez and he launches himself over the top rope for the shoulder tackle. He tries for the pin, but in comes big Matt Morgan. He takes suplexes Hernandez and throws Joey Ryan on top of him, but the champion kicks out. Joey Ryan tries to taunt his opponent, but Hernandes man-handles him. Matt Morgan back in yet again, but Chavo Guerrero off the top rope with a missile dropkick. Chavo hits the Frogsplash on Joey Ryan and goes for the pin, but Morgan pulls the referee to the outside, which causes a DQ.

Winners via DQ: Hernandez & Chavo Guerrero

After the match Chavo springboards to the outside, but gets caught in a carry by the Blueprint. He gets tossed into the ringpost and picked apart, but Supermex launches over the top rope and sends Morgan crashing back! Morgan bails with Joey Ryan, and Hernandez stands over Chavo and yells that this feud is not over.

Backstage JB interviews Austin Aries, saying that a lot of people are curious about his match tonight. Aries tells him to be quiet, and says that people want to know why he's so upset. He says that all he wants is justice and a fair shot to regain his World Title, and tonight that starts with Bully Ray. He calls him Mark again, and aks him "whatcha gonna do, when Austin-mania runs wild on you, brother?"

(4) Austin Aries vs. Bully Ray

Austin Aries controls the early parts of this match, taking the Bully down with his mat game and controlling the pace with side headlocks. Aries attempts to mock Hulk Hogan by doing his signature poses, but Bully Ray fires up and drops him with a big clothesline. Aries run at him, but gets thrown about ten feet into the air, crashing down hard! Bully connects with Snake Eyes and heads up to the top rope, but Aries blocks him. Bully throws Aries down to the mat and comes down with a huge - he's a very large man - missle dropkick, which raises a "holy Poopie" chant from the Impact Zone.

Bully rolls to the outside and Aries goes for the suicide dive, but Bully straight up kicks him in the jaw! Back in the ring Bully tries for the pin, but can only get two. Aries reverses a suplex attempt and goes for the Brainbuster, but Bully reverses it and comes down with a cutter! The crowed chants "we want tables!" and Bully heads to the outside to get them. Bully sees Aries crawling to the ring steps, and goes after him, but eats a drop toehold sending him crashing face first into the steel.

Bully Ray is busted open with blood flowing everywhere, and Aries comes down off the top rope with a double ax handle to the outside. Brooke Hogan runs down and Aries brings her in the ring and corners her. Bully Ray makes the save and throws Austin to the outside as the Hulkster makes his way out as well. Bully gets Brooke out of the ring and and tells Hogan to leave with her. Austin Aries hits a low blow from behind as the referee is distracted with the Hogans, and Aries rolls him up for three.

Winner: Austin Aries

A video package highlights Velvet Sky's return, and we head backstage where JB is with the KO Champion Tara and her boyfriend Jesse. He asks her about Velvet Sky and the two go on a ramble about hooking up with various celebrities. They finally get around to talking about Mickie James, but the couple has to go "stretch" before the match.

(5) Knockouts Championship Match
Tara (c) vs. Mickie James

Mickie James is wearing overalls to a wrestling match. The Impact Zone does their best British impression, chanting "who are you?" at Jesse. Tara and Mickie lock up in the middle of the ring with Tara getting ahold of the arm and wrenching it. Mickie floats over a wrist lock and gets an armdrag. Tara tries for another wrist lock, and takes Mickie to the mat, but she kips up and gets another armdrag.

After a distraction from Jesse, Tara gets the challenger in the corner and chokes her with her boot. Mickie powers out with a hurricanrana, and Jesse pulls Tara from the ring. Mickie kicks Jesse away and throws Tara back into the ring, but the distraction is enough from the Champion to take advantage. Jesse rips his shift off, and between his pecs and Tara's wrestling gear, there are WAY too many distractions in this match...

Mickie gets a great roll-up, but Taryn is still dealing with a Jesse and missing it. Tara lands the Spiderweb slam and locks in a body scissors in the middle of the ring. Mickie shows some athleticism and kicks Tara in the head, knocking her backwards. The two then trade blows in the middle of the ring, and the challenger gets the better of the exchange. Clotheslines connects and the crowd is fired up! Mickie connects with a mule kick and plants her with an ensiguri. James throws Tara to the outside, but Jesse actually catches her.

Mickie James off the top rope to the outside with a Thesz press on both of them! She rolls the Champion back in the ring, but Jesse gets on the apron. He eats a big side kick, but Tara takes advantage of yet another distraction and hits the Widow's Peak for the 3-count.

Winner and still Champion: Tara

Backstage JB is with Bobby Roode, and asks him what kind of relationship he has with the Aces & Eights. He calls that a stupid question and instead talks about winning back his World Title. He says that he made an investment and that it pays to be Roode. He closes the segment saying money talks, and cowpat walks.

A video package airs for the Aces & Eights drama, and Kurt Angle stepping up to take them on tonight.

(6) Kurt Angle, Wes Brisco, Garrett Bischoff & Samoa Joe vs Aces & Eights

The Eights make their way out, and Devon and DOC are two of their members, as well as two masked men. The face then make their entrance and chase their opponents from the ring. Joe is begging Devon to get back in the ring, as he holds the TV title.

Devon starts this match off by attacking Kurt Angle from behind. His advantage doesn't last long though, as he runs right into a big elbow from Angle. Kurt stomps away in the corner and plants him with a big vertical suplex. Samoa Joe makes the tag and Devon dives out of the ring to avoid him. DOC tags in and the two big men trade rights and lefts, with joe going crazy on him as they back into the corner. Joe is all fired up and lands splash after splash into the corner, followed by the CCS Enzuigiri.

Garrett Bischoff gets the tag, as does one of the masked men on the side of Aces & Eights. He also goes to work in the corner with a big splash and a flurry of rights, before tagging in Wes Brisco. The Impact Zone is all about Brisco for some reason, but he gets a wrist lock in and tags back in Samoa Joe who knocks everybody off the apron. Joe gets taken to the outside and mugged by all four guys from Aces & Eights, before being thrown back into the ring.

Now that Joe is down, Devon finally gets in the ring. And punches away at him in the corner as the crowd chants "Joe's gonna kill you". Tag to DOC, and the big man comes in and slaps Joe with a reverse chin lock. The crowd is fired up now, and Joe fights his way out of the hold, but runs into a forearm from the Eights enforcer. Devon back in and keeps up the heel pressure as the fans tell him "you sold out". Devon works the crowd and taunts his opponent before tagging in a very large masked member of the Aces & Eights. He goes crazy with right hands and the other masked guy makes the tag as well. The try to double team Joe in the corner, but he knocks one down and hits the S-T-Joe on the other, planting him on top of his partner!

Kurt Angle makes the hot tag and goes to work on the smaller masked man. Big crossbody connects, and in comes DOC to eat a belly-to-belly suplex. Masked man #1 gets a belly-to-belly for his trouble as well, but now all eight guys are brawling everywhere as all hell breaks loose! DOC chokeslams Kurt Angle but Wes Brisco comes off with a beautiful crossbody from the top rope. Garrett Bischoff gets a big DDT on the masked guy #2, but Devon takes them both out. Kurt Angle locks Masked Man #1 in the ANkle Lock, but DOC makes the save with the hammer. Before he can use it, Wes Brisco spears him out off the ring! Angle with the Angle Slam for the win!

Winners: Kurt Angle, Wes Brisco, Garrett Bischoff and Samoa Joe

A great video packing airs for the rivalry between Styles and Daniels. It shows clips and says the greatest match in history was Joe/Daniels/Styles for the X-Division title; hard to disagree.

(7) AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels

The two of them lock up in the middle of the ring, with Daniels getting a wrist lock, but immediately taken down to the mat by Styles with a headlock. The two trade headlocks and headscissors on the ground, until Daniels rolls one into an arm hold. Back to their feet, the two run the ropes with Daniels taking down Styles with several shoulder blocks. Styles rolls to the outside to get it together as Daniels mocks him.

They go back to a lock-up with Daniels again taking the advantage, locking up the arm behind AJ's back. Styles breaks free and gets a spinning wheel kick, followed by another and he's all fired up! A big chop in the corner connects, and Daniels migrates to the opposite corner and eats another chop. AJ snaps off a headscissors from Daniels single-leg hold and lands a big flying clothesline in the corner. Styles just stares at Daniels lying on the mat, and has finally found his confidence in this match.

AJ hooks in the Indian Deathlock! He wrenches it back and gets the chinlock at the same time, and Daniels screams out in pain. Daniels somehow gets to the ropes and Styles is forced to break it up. The two roll to the apron, and AJ gets a snap suplex right on the ring arpon! Ouch! Styles tries for it again, but Daniels counters into a brainbuster! The cround goes silent as Styles is lifeless on the ground, but looks to be fine. Daniels pulls out the ring steps and body slams Styles right on top of them. The head back into the ring and Daniels continues to work over his opponents back with a big body drop and several clotheslines.

AJ fights his way out of a side headlock, but eats a kick to the jaw from Daniels. Another connects and Daniels gets a two-count. Vertical suplex connects, followed by a beautiful moonsault which transitions immediately into a crossface. AJ refuses to tap out, and Daniels lets him go as he reaches the ropes. Back to the center of the ring, Daniels locks in another headlock, but Styles fights through and uses headbutts to free himself. Off the Irish whip both of them go for crossbodies and collide; AJ Styles is busted open the hardway. Their heads collided, and AJ is bleading from a very swollen eyebrow.

Despite the blood, AJ comes out of nowhere with the flying clothesline, followed by a big kick to the side of his opponent's head. He motions for the Styles Clash, but Daniels rolls through and tries for the pin. Styles kips up and takes down Daniels with the headscissors. He tries for another headscissors, but Daniels slams him down with a powerbomb! Daniels takes him to the corner and gets the Fall From Grace off the second rope, but Styles kicks out at very nearly three.

Daniels throws his opponent to the corner, but Styles backflips off the turnbuckle and plants the reverse DDT! They head up to the top rope, and Styles gets a superplex! The two are both down and crowd is fired up. The crawl to their feet using the ropes, and trade right hands back and forth. AJ strings together a chain of rights, but Daniels nails him with the forearm. Daniels tries to take advantage, but gets caught with a discus clothesline and the Pele! AJ goes for the Styles Clash, but Daniels counters into the Angle's Wings position, but AJ counters yet again and nails the Styles Clash! 1...2...NO! Daniels kicks out!

AJ can't believe he didn't get the win, and tries to figure out what he has to do. He picks up Daniels and take him to the corner. He lifts his lifeless body up to the top rope and gets in position for the Styles Clash from the top rope! He goes for it, but Daniels grabs the ropes and AJ goes face first into the ring! Daniels hits the Styles Clash for the three...

Winner: Christopher Daniels

(8) TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match
Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Bobby Roode

JB does the official introductions for tonight's main event World Title match. Bobby Roode immediately takes the advantage and goes to work on the champ. He fires away with rights in the corner, but Hardy fires back with kicks to the mid-section. He throws his towel into the crowd and connects with a headscissors, taking Roode down. The action spills to the outside, with Hardy throwing Roode off the barricade and into the ring steps. They roll back into the ring and Hardy backs the challenger into the corner, but eats an elbow from Roode.

Bobby plants the champion with a clothesline and blows off some steam by antagonizing the fans. He comes down hard with a jumping knee strike to Hardy's mid-section, before bringing him into the corner and choking him with the ropes and his boot. Roode splits Hardy's legs and applies pressure with his boot right to Hardy's abdomen. This is followed up by a side headlock on the mat, as the fans build momentum for Hardy. The Champion gets to his knees, but Roode breaks the hold and throws Hardy's skull off the mat.

Another side headlock takes down the Champion, but he wills himself to his feet and fights off the hold with elbows to the gut. Off the ropes Roode takes down Hardy with a clothesline, and just like that is back in control. Another choke with Roode's boot connects in the corner, as Hebner forces him to break it up several times. Scoop slam attempt lands, and Roode goes up top. He finds Hardy's boot on the way back down, and the CHampion is back to his feet! Side Russsian legsweep connects, and Hardy with a cover; two-count.

Hardy heads to the top, but Roode pops back up and throws the Champion to the outside. The challenger goes on the hunt again, picking up Hardy and throwing him head-first into the steel ring steps. Roode rolls him back in the ring for a two-count, and goes into a chokehold. Hardy powers out of it and fires off with big right hands! Flying forearm, followed by the atomic drop. Split-leg leg drop connects, followed by a dropick! Hardy goes high risk, and gets a big splash from the second rope. 1..2..but Roode kicks out.

Hardy picks his opponent up and gets him in the powerbomb position, but Roode counters out and slingshots the Champion into the turnbuckle. Hardy catches himself on the ropes however, and explodes out with Whisper in the Wind! Front face suplex finds its mark and Jeff Hardy gets another splash from the top rope, but can't put away his opponent. Twist of Fate attempt, but Roode throws him off and he turns around in the spinebuster. The Champ kicks out before three and the crowd is on their feet.

Roode bring Hardy up, but the Champ gets the Twist of Fate out of nowhere! Roode rolls out of the ring to collect himself, but Hardy suicide dives through the ropes and sends him crashing into the barricade. He motions to the ringside fans to move back and sets up the steel steps away from the ring. Roode pulls himself to his feet and Hardy goes for Poetry in Motion, but Roode ducks under and Hardy goes flying into the crowd! Roode pulls him back over the guard rail and into the ring. 1...2...Hardy kicks out.

Roode is going crazy that he can't win the match, and puts Hardy up on the top rope. He joins him and tries for the superplex, but Hardy throws rights and lefts as both men are standing on the turnbuckle. Roode gets thrown to the mat, and Hardy takes his shirt off and motions for the end. Swanton Bomb connects! Both men are down and Hardy can't make it over to cover his opponent. The Impact Zone is fired up, as both men slowly pull themselves up. Hardy turns around into a huge spear from Bobby Roode, but Hardy kicks out at 2 and 3/4!!

Roode freaks out and nods his head as to indicated "it's time". The Aces & Eights show up at ringside, but they won't get in the ring. Roode screams at them saying "what are you waiting for" and Hardy hits him with the Twist of Fate for the win!

Winner and still champion: Jeff Hardy

After the match, eight members of the Aces & Eights including DOC and Devon get in the ring and assault the World Champ. They powerbomb Hardy and Roode gets in the leader's face. He says he paid them off, and he wants to know why he's not the champion. Devon attacks him from behind and the Eights pick him apart as well.

The commentary team explain that the Aces & Eights don't work for anyone, and they'll do whatever and whoever they want. The faction stands tall as Final Resolution goes off the air.

Daniels vs Styles was match of the PPV for me. Hopefully Daniels moves on to bigger and better things as he has been awesome in 2012.

I thought it was good from start to finish. The Storm - Kazarian match lacked drama as there wasn't really anything riding on it, but other than that, top notch stuff.

Agree that Styles vs Daniels probably stole the show but the TNA vs A&E tag match was a corker too.

I was worried they would screw up the Roode - Hardy match by having A&E intervene, but was pleasantly surprised and amused that Bobby's plan backfired on him.
