Who wins the TNA contract?
TNA British Boot Camp
The show starts tomorrow on Challenge TV at 10pm.
We have been doing quite a build up on the v2 Journal for it (interview with the Blossoms here - http://v2journal.com/the-v2-wrestling-podcast-18th-december.html ) but what I want to know is, who do you think will win?
And have any of you seen either Rockstar Spud, The Blossom Twins or Marty Scurll wrestle before. If so, what should we expect.
So let us know who you think is going to win this thing.

Re: TNA British Boot Camp
AS much as I love the Blossoms, from the interviews Chris did, Rockstar Spud seems the most likely to win.
He comes over as a wrestling fan with the skills to back it up.

I think the twins will win then in a month or two the lads will come back as a team on an open fight night and challenge for the tag titles!
Re: TNA British Boot Camp
I've said as many times as I've been asked that all four should be brought in. I think the Blossoms are the most marketable, thats the reason I would pick them, as well as having a bit more notoriety out in America.
With Magnus out 'injured' whilst he films Worlds Strongest Man (or something similar) they could easily return him as a face after the Aces n Eights attack and bring in Marty (the two are very close friends) as his tag partner. Would add real weight to the division.
Spud possibly the most charisma, understands his heel role very well and has 'paid his dues'. If he pulls it off then he would be an excellent and different heel addition.
All of them would add some vibrance to a roster that feels a little stale at the moment. There's certainly Tag Team potential at the very least, the lads have easy links to Doug Williams and Magnus due to nationality and we know how often being from the same country means people have to be best friends by wrestling TV standards

He's filming something for Challenge too isn't he? UK's strongest man? That could have been awhile ago, its not my kind of TV. Panto acting vs wrestling acting, which one is the more skilled craft?

Re: TNA British Boot Camp
So did anybody get the chance to watch this last night? They had the first 2 episodes on of 6 in the series.
Now having never seen any of the 4 wrestle, the show was my first impressions of them. They had a training session, but the rest was about media appearances and how they can handle a live crowd, not to mention Marty trying way to hard to make Spud seem like a idiot.
Both Marty & Spud seem like real characters, which made great, explosive TV, but they both seem like such d**k* in particular Marty who just wouldn't leave Spud alone with nasty comments, I get banter, but this guy just wouldn't quit with it, I hate these type of people! I mean the twitter thing was just so stupid!
But I suppose both would make entertaining, unique characters with both guys having different methods but can get themselves over on the mic. Now The Blossoms. Wasn't expecting much but when they took to the ring, I was impressed with what I saw and they seem like really nice, down to earth people which can also go inside the ring. Having watched the first two episodes, with just a bit of wrestling training thrown in. I'd have to pick the Blossoms to win the show. Although I can see Marty getting a foot into the door because of his connections to Magnus. Evan though those guys would make a interesting pairing, I don't think Magnus needs to slip back into tag team wrestling for now.

Re: TNA British Boot Camp
The show seemed to overly staged at times for my liking.
The whole scenes with Spud drinking into the early hours and then having the whole confrontation with Rollerball.
Overall I enjoyed it and Spud is by far the best of the talent overall.
Wrestling wise I liked the Blossoms but they didnt have the killer promo skills of the others.

Re: TNA British Boot Camp
I'd have to agree Adam, I did touch on some of the scenes that did take place between Spud & Marty it was way over staged but how they reacted to each other did make some good TV at points in the show.
The Blossoms might not have had "Killer Promo Skills" as you put it, but I didn't think they were bad at all, infact I though they handled themselves quite well, there's not many women wrestlers out there that can command a wrestling audience. It looks like it will start to get interesting next week as they fly to TNA and get to meet the likes of Sting & Kurt Angle
