Just always been a huge fan, what?
He gets a bit of stick on this forum sometimes, but to me, the man can do no wrong.
I thought it was nice to see him, comparatively, looking so well. And I just happened to be in a very cheerful mood this morning.
Is it me, or would anyone else agree, he's looking in good shape?
I guess there's always someone who's going to take you the wrong way.

Well I was looking at his complexion.
I wonder how many of us will be here on this very forum when he hits his 80th!

He will be 71 on the 17th of this month. My twins will be 2 years old on the very same day.
What a lovely story.

He looks as miserable as sin just like he did when they dragged him to the Olympics. Bloke would probably prefer to be at home smoking a bifta.

No way he's smoking with that complexion.
Maybe he's using a vaporiser, or perhaps he makes a tincture and has a few drops every morning.

He hasn't been capable of facial expressions for a long while now, so looking miserable doesn't mean much.
You really think Ali gets stick on here Herman? Not sure if there's a single person who wouldn't have him as all time #1 heavyweight, although the recent Klistchko love in might knock him back to third.

Re: Muhammad Ali Hits The Sugar Bowl
I have to say John, that while the brothers would give most heavyweights problems, I have to say I don't rate them as highly as many on here.
I must admit I have only seen them live about twice each so maybe I'm wrong.
They've been dominant yes, but in what looks like the weakest heavyweight division in living memory, and for me, a circa Berbick/Thomas Tyson takes them both out in the same evening. Not all time greats then, but certainly very good heavyweights.
With Ali, I was surprised to see some people attacking his personality a few months ago. That was all. As a kid , I always liked him, and that would never change.

Re: Muhammad Ali Hits The Sugar Bowl
I agree with what you said about the K's, my line about them putting him in third was facetious by intent.
We wouldn't need a poll to prove that the vast majority admire Ali more than anyone deplores him.
