Get a new phone, he's a manager, he can afford it. No need for further excuses.

It just occurred to me that it's been 8 years since I last pulled a sickie Erm

Akpan is too good for us, was part of the Everton youth system before dropping down to Crawley, and has developed really well. Not sure he's gonna be a big player to keep Reading up, more a player to help them come straight back up.

I would Azzy (I proudly won the FA Cup with Stoke last time out) but it would be too much for me to have another side to manage currently.

No worries mate, things change so maybe in the future OK

I prefer realistic leagues to fantasy ones, as it means I can start with Albion and make them half-decent.

I've just noticed it wouldn't start for about 4 weeks. Put me down as a maybe, ask me again when its starting if you end up short of managers.

If they were higher up the league or had more points, yes. But we're literally 1 point and 1 place below them, if we tried moving up the league we'd overtake them picard

Good CF ta, I'm having a great year so far. If only Albion would take heed and get their backsides into gear...

Marky, he's got you, admit it. They're better than you are, you're selling your best player, come on now. You're basically a feeder club to teams of a very similar calibre to Bournemouth.

I'm really hoping Bournemouth beat Wigan in the cup so that they have to come up to the Moss and Barnes-Homer hits a double past them.

Actually, we're selling our best asset, our best midfielder is Dannie Bulman but he's 33. And we're selling Akpan to a side two leagues above, saying we're a feeder club to sides like Bournemouth is akin to saying West Brom are a feeder side to the likes of Fulham...

Sure, mention the OG, quick free kick and the "against the run of play" third all you like. I'd rather talk about the 3 points we took from you earlier in the season...

Cherries, I've been telling you for months now. AFC Bournemouth have significantly outspent Crawley Town, the fact we're so close to you shows how well we've done as underdogs/newcomers and how pathetic Bournemouth were early in the season. When a League 1 side has a playing squad of nearly 40 players, you know they're gonna be the next Portsmouth.
