Duncan Fletcher New India Coach
A complete surprise, but an intresting choice. Taking over a team that's just won
the odi world cup, and is top of the test rankings, seems an easy job. But with
players retiring, going odi/ipl only, will he be the man to usher in a new era.
And how will he handle the ego's.
What are other people's thoughts at this suprise annoucment ?

Wow certainly seems like an odd choice but he did do well with england but i thought he left because he could not handle the egos of kp and the like.

That was what i thought as well mr Scotland, and it will be intresting
to see how he handles the Indian team's which surly has more. And
how he will handle the pressure from the Indian public as well.
But in reality could turn out to be a shrewd choice, as has the experince,
is certainly a good coach, and to be honest a stable older head could
be what is needed, as with the likes of Tendulkar, Dohni etc India
needed someone that the players will respect.
Makes the summer test series even more intresting now, as if it needed
anything else adding to it.

Definitely adds extra spice to the test series in the summer, would love to see an england win, but im not so sure. Certainly will be interesting to see how many stars he can keep playing test match cricket.

I think that the key to the series could be how many Indian players
retire from test cricket between now and then. If none or a couple
i think that India will win, 4/5 then England. But should be a fascinating
test series whatever, but first we have to get past Sri Lanka, which
i don't think will be that easy.
