Realistic League - Foreign Transfers - Page 9 Empty Realistic League - Foreign Transfers

Post by Guest Mon 04 Feb 2013, 10:03 am

First topic message reminder :

Managers may make 5 FT enquiries per week, starting at 0900 every Monday morning. The exception to this will be the end of the season, where additional FT enquiries will be granted.

FT enquiries, once made, can continue throughout the week until a deal is agreed. If however a FT enquiry is refused, please do not re-bid – a refusal will not be reconsidered regardless of the bid amount.

FT enquiries should be realistic, therefore we require a legitimate source – the more the merrier – to be convinced that your bid would be successful in real life. The current legitimate source list is currently as follows:

The Guardian
The Telegraph
The Times
Daily Mail
BBC Sport
Sky Sports

The current list of sources NOT accepted is currently: The Mirror, The Sun, Daily Express, Talksport, Daily Star, Metro, Bleacher Report, Trival Football, Caught Offside, Goal, Life’s a Pitch

No players brought in on a Friday may be used for that week’s tactics, as it would allow an unfair advantage for that team.

Players that are brought into the league through FTs are not allowed to be sold within the league for a minimum of 6 league games. This will avoid managers buying players on behalf of ‘smaller’ clubs, then selling them on, leaving a player at a club he would never have agreed to join.

I never said he was class.

Bruno, Joel Ward, Kevin Mcnaughton, Llyod Doyley are all better Championship right backs, i can assure you. Its a league i follow very closey and speak to a lot of people who attend games in that league, so its not just my opinion!

Regardless lads, this is what the main thread is for furious

No commenting on other people's FT offers.

Also, Bull - both bids rejected. One for copying my offer, and the other one for hacing the nerve to copy someone else's FT offer.

bid 2/5

Josue to stoke
bid 2.7m

he will have the chance to enter are midfield and we will make sure he can start , wolfsburg are struggling and with the manager only staying till the end of the season the cash can go towards getting a new manager or a new couple of young faces to the team after all they have a very good youth team and scouting system, for young talents to follow the likes of Dzeko for example.

Realistic League - Foreign Transfers - Page 9 Empty Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers

Post by Guest Mon 25 Feb 2013, 10:21 pm

The issue is this:

Bids that are rejected are REJECTED - meaning any further FT bids for that player use up a bid. Needlessly. So by bidding for Josue four times, Bull's used up all his FTs for the week. For a player he was rejected on.

Now I'm quite happy to leave this league and let someone else put up with Bull's pathetic FT bids. I do this while at work, and am part of a different league on here that, let's just say, is actually enjoyable for me.

So Bull can either stop being silly, or he can take over. Your choice Bull OK

No, you were rejected on Obore and Josue, then used three more on Josue taking you up to 5. And it's not about 'taking' players, its about making an offer the player and club would accept. Josue would not consider a move to Stoke if they said exactly what Sunderland had said, word for word. Hence the rejection.

Lads I'm stepping down from the league. This is meant to be fun, but I'm not enjoying it. And it's all down to one person.

I'll do results tomorrow, but after that others will have to take up the slack.

FYI Bull, reporting two of my posts wasn't a good move for the league. I honestly hope I never have to come across you again OK

I love the realism and aspects of this league, there's non like it on here. Unfortunately, like Azzy, I'm quite limited for time on here, so providing assistance is the least I can offer, picking up my part. Don't forget without Azzy, this league wouldn't have had the restart it needed and has provided efficiency since day 1

I also don't quite have Azzy's patience to deal with certain characters on here and instead of shouldering all the problems, I think it's best to walk away now supporting Azzy's decisions. If he decideds to continue, I'll happily carry on my current role, my decision is purely out of protest supporting Azzy. So it's up to certain people to make things right with him OK

Bull no matter what you say, I'm done. I've not enjoyed a single minute of the last four weeks - it takes up too much of my time and your constant moaning is too much for a sane man to handle. I just can't enjoy it because it takes too much time from my day.

That, and this reporting of posts for no reason, is the reason for my departure.

Liam is now back full-time, so you have 11 managers (10 if Enigma leaves too), so all you need is someone to take over as Sunderland, who I've left in a good position, and you're all set. Maybe GSC would fancy stepping in?

Well I am quitting, no amount of discussion is going to change that. You'll notice that in my reasoning for leaving, your moaning wasn't actually one of them. Everyone likes a good moan. El Dios did my head in last week, but that's fine, it happens. There's no need to play the victim card when I've not actually said you're to blame for me going.

No, the two reasons are:

1. I don't enjoy it because it takes up too much of my time, and
2. The unnecessary reporting of posts just because someone told you to

If a mod told you to send abusive messages to someone, would you? If a mod told you to change your username, would you? If a mod has a problem, they have the power to deal with it. If they were offended they could report the post themselves, rather than you do it. Not even my 3 year old does what he's told Rolling Eyes

bid 1

Kieran Trippier, Burnley to Stoke - £3.5m

the offer Burnley said they would take from southampton we will make the offer to sign him instead, he will get great chances in the team and is talented and he can a lot here, we hope he takes the offer as he deserves to join the prem.

Sebastian Rode
Frankfurt to stoke
bid:6m

the kid is talented and we feel he will fit in perfectly here the gunners are apprenlty intrested but ours is real we feel he would do very well in the prem and it will also help frankfurt next season if they are in relegation battle
