Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
First topic message reminder :
Managers may make 5 FT enquiries per week, starting at 0900 every Monday morning. The exception to this will be the end of the season, where additional FT enquiries will be granted.
FT enquiries, once made, can continue throughout the week until a deal is agreed. If however a FT enquiry is refused, please do not re-bid – a refusal will not be reconsidered regardless of the bid amount.
FT enquiries should be realistic, therefore we require a legitimate source – the more the merrier – to be convinced that your bid would be successful in real life. The current legitimate source list is currently as follows:
The Guardian
The Telegraph
The Times
Daily Mail
BBC Sport
Sky Sports
The current list of sources NOT accepted is currently: The Mirror, The Sun, Daily Express, Talksport, Daily Star, Metro, Bleacher Report, Trival Football, Caught Offside, Goal, Life’s a Pitch
No players brought in on a Friday may be used for that week’s tactics, as it would allow an unfair advantage for that team.
Players that are brought into the league through FTs are not allowed to be sold within the league for a minimum of 6 league games. This will avoid managers buying players on behalf of ‘smaller’ clubs, then selling them on, leaving a player at a club he would never have agreed to join.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Azzy (3/5):
Fernando Amorebieta, Bilbao to Sunderland, £5m + £8m release clause for a bigger club
Reason: Amorebieta is out of contract this summer, and while he's been linked with a move away, no-one has yet to make a move for this outstanding player. We will give him the captain's armband at Sunderland, make him first choice CB, and if a bigger club comes calling, we will sell him for a release clause of £8m - a very reasonable proposition for a player who wants to play football at the very top level.

SOME FT ANSWERS ARE IN:
El Dios (1/5):
Max Clayton, Crewe to West Brom, £1m plus loan back for rest of season - £3m required plus loan back for rest of season
Azzy (1 and 2/5):
Danny Simpson, Newcastle to Sunderland, £500k = YES
Josue, Wolfsburg to Sunderland, £2.5m = YES

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Bull (1, 2, 3 and 4/5):
Kieran Trippier, Burnley to Stoke, £3.5m = YES
Sebastian Rode, Frankfurt to Stoke, £6m = £10m REQUIRED - same reasoning as Meier below, but £10m would tempt them to sell I believe.
Alexander Meier, Frankfurt to Stoke, £4m = NOT RIGHT NOW - Frankfurt are flying high this season and he's a huge part of that, with 12 goals so far. Maybe in the summer.
Jores Okore, Nordsjælland to Stoke, £2m = £5m REQUIRED PLUS £8M RELEASE FEE TO BIGGER CLUB
El Dios (1/5):
Neal Maupay, Nice to West Brom, £1.5m = £3m REQUIRED, PLUS LOAN BACK FOR THE SEASON, PLUS £7.5M RELEASE FEE TO ANY CLUB
Azzy (3/5):
Fernando Amorebieta, Bilbao to Sunderland, £5m + £8m release clause for a bigger club = NO - GSC says he's leaving on a free in the summer so he wouldn't consider the move.
Kieran Trippier, Burnley to Stoke, £3.5m = YES

bid 4?
Álvaro Domínguez Soto
Bourssia Madengladbach
bid: £6.5m
we think he is a very good player who would fit into are team very well and feel right at home, this would give gladbach money to get new players in to possible improve there mid or strikers up front in order to challanage for the top for once again.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Abdelaziz Barrada
Getafe
5m
A classy midfielder who would suit our style of play he sits deep and dictates the play, would give Getafe who have money issues a chance to pay off some of their debt or buy new talent on lesser wages
Bruno Soriano
8.5m - Top club side clause - 17.5m
Villareal
Currently stuck in the 2nd division and not looking likely to get out of it anytime soon with them being financially crippled we're offering Bruno a way out of the yellow submarine, 8.5m is a hefty fee for a 2nd division player but we feel it would be worth the price as his defensive positioning is top quality.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Seeing as he's still available then.
Jores Okore
£5m
Nordsjaellend to Aston Villa
£5m is the fee that was agreed with Stoke City before Bull said he wasn't bidding for Okore. We would like to capitalise on this with the same cash offer to Nordsjaellend and offer Jores Premier League football but at a bigger club than before. We would be releasing another centre back to make space, and Jores will be a first teamer assuming he earns his place.

I would presume to be a 'bigger' club you would have to qualify for a higher European competition than the other club

I would think that having one or two seasons of higher-placed finishes in our league would be a 'bigger' club?

Paul McShane-£2.2m

Can offer Premier league football at a club that is really going places, most likely guaranteed starter in a premier league side.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Daley Blind - £1m
Ajax to Fulham
We feel the youngster is ready for Premier League football. He is not being offered a new contract, according to Holland's equivalent of the BBC and we would love to have him to join our Dutch players Stekelenburg and Emmanuelson. The fee is nominal as he is leaving at the end of the season anyway.
http://www.ad.nl/ad/nl/1441/Ajax/article/detail/3394143/2013/02/15/Frank-de-Boer-ziet-geen-toekomst-in-Daley-Blind.dhtml
Angelo Ogbonna - £8m
Torino to Fulham
The centre back has caught the eye at Torino, who are in the bottom half of the league and not far off the relegation places. They have no chance of getting anything significant this season and we would make him the leader of our defense. He has been linked to bigger clubs so we are willing to install a £20m release clause in his contract.

Nile Ranger - £0
Free Agent to Fulham
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21636940
Had his contract ended at Newcastle, we want to offer him a new one at Fulham, simple as.
Sebastian Corchia - £2m
Sochaux to Fulham
Corchia is at a struggling club with a serious possibility of relegation, and we would like to bring him to Fulham.

Mattia De Sciglio
Milan to QPR
7m
Highly talented young right back with bags of pace and a good technique. Also a fine defender at just 20 years of age. Into his last year on his contract and we would like to give him regular 1st team football. With Abate first choice at Milan we want him to fulfill his potential here and go onto become a fantastic footballer.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Azzy (1 and 2/5):
Daniele Bonera, AC Milan to Sunderland, £4m - Bonera has fallen way down the pecking order this season, even more so with the arrival of Zaccardo at RB. We offer Milan a very good fee, plus Bonera the chance to play in another big league and extend his career for a few years in our first team.
Danny Rose, Tottenham to Sunderland, £2m to covert his loan to permanent - Spurs have no use for Danny these days, with BAE, Naughton, Vertonghen and Bale to cover the LB slot. Rose is our first-choice LB, and our fans love him - we want to give him a permanent place in the hearts of the Mackems.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Right.
New week, so if i'm not mistaken, Bull's "YES" has expired.
Jores Okore
£5m
Nordsjaellend to Aston Villa
Joseph Yobo
£5m
Fenerbahce to Aston Villa
We would be offering Joseph a return to the Premier League where he spent ten years with Everton. Joseph is doing well in Turkey but we feel he would be tempted by a return and a return to one of the bigger sides in England. The £5m fee is a fair offer considering Joseph's age and the widely reported stories of Fenerbahce splashing out a lot less than that to sign him.
Mateo Musacchio
£5m
Villareal to Aston Villa
Mateo was loyal to Villareal after their shock relegation to the Segunda in Spain. However it is looking increasingly likely that Villareal will not be making an instant return to La Liga, we would be offering Mateo the chance to play in a top division in the Premier League, at a developing side which is also one of the bigger clubs around, and be a big part of our defence.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Here we are lads - apologies for how long it's taken!
Bull:
Álvaro Domínguez Soto, Borussia Moenchengladbach to Stoke, £6.5m = NO - he'd not be interested in signing for a team of Stoke's status.
Nando:
Abdelaziz Barrada, Getafe to Southampton, £5m = NOT RIGHT NOW - Malaga have the small matter of a huge Champions League game coming up, the increase in prize money being much greater than the paltry sum offered here.
Bruno Soriano, Villareal to Southampton, £8.5m - Top club side clause - £17.5m = £8.5m fee plus £12.5m release clause to any club required
Liam:
Mattia De Sciglio, Milan to QPR, £7m - NO - he's a huge talent and there's no way they'd sell.
Trebs:
Nile Ranger, Free Agent to Fulham - YES - but he has no value, you cannot release him for a fee, and he must start 2 of the remaining 9 games this season else he'll leave on a free.
Sebastien Corchia, Sochaux to Fulham, £2m - NOT RIGHT NOW - they need him for their relegation fight, and he's worth quite a bit more anyway. Maybe at the end of the season.
Daley Blind, Ajax to Fulham, £1m - NO - Blind has publicly stated several times that he wants to stay, and I have read that they are sitting down this month to get that new deal done.
Angelo Ogbonna, Torino to Fulham, £8m - NOT RIGHT NOW - again, Torino need him for the rest of the season. Maybe at the end of the season, for a higher fee.
CF:
Paul McShane, Hull to Swansea, £2.2m = YES
El Dios:
Marco van Ginkel - Vitesse - £1m - NOT RIGHT NOW - Vitesse are fighting for the title. This is also a horrendously insulting offer for such a talented player.
Tonny Vilhena - Feyenoord - £1.5m - NOT RIGHT NOW - same as all three of these bids, Feyenoord are fighting for the title. He's worth more than the offer as well.
Viktor Fischer, PSV to West Brom, £1m Loan - plus £3m to make permanent - NO - this las is a huge star and worth far, far, far more than this. Ajax are also fighting for the Dutch title.
Azzy (1 and 2/5):
Daniele Bonera, AC Milan to Sunderland, £4m - NO - GSC says he'd have better options elsewhere
Danny Rose, Tottenham to Sunderland, £2m to covert his loan to permanent - YES
