Great Lions Head to Head confrontations...!
The other week we saw Adam Jones face Dan Cole, both the most likely candidates for the Tighthead birth in the Ospreys vs Leicester.
This week Tuilagi and Brian O'Driscoll will go toe to toe. This is very exciting.
O'Driscoll was in sublime form last weekend in Cardiff, Tuliagi returning from injury will be seriously up for the match, raring to go...

It's the backrow battle I am looking forward to, all 6 are in contention on Sunday

Plenty in contention in Dublin for sure... I am sure the Locks will be pushing for recognition...!
I picked the Tuilagi vs O'Driscoll match up as they have both been such popular candidates by pundits as the likely outside centres.

Big battle up front too with likely Lions candidates in Cole, Healy and Best all competing, and boys like Marler, Hartley and Youngs trying to stake a claim to one of the seats on the plane...

Connor Murray did his chances a few favours on Saturday, had a really good game. As did Youngs and Care

Heaslip v Morgan and O'Brien v Robshaw are the two real clashes.
I predict two home wins...

Dont think Morgans fit...still in a boot isnt he...so it looks like Haskell on at 6 and Wood at 8.
Still should be a cracker.

Certainly a good opportunity to see some players in the heat of battle.

Looks like Gatland sees a few good match ups in Dublin.

Not a fan of head to heads in rugby, it means little when put into context, at no point will Zebo and Ashton go head to head, and at no point will either scrum half get a nudge on the other, there are too many variables to consider 1 v 1.

What it means is that they are on the same pitch in opposing teams so that you can see the performance of one vs the other.
In this case you will see Ashton and Zebo on opposite wings, facing each other.
