Don't mind the Browns pick but do worry about his Spinal Stenosis.GSC wrote:Generally more for me to remember who I've actually mocked each day.

All the O-line picks make sense, can't really say that a new LT is what turns the Chiefs around but there's no reason they can't get a QB through trades/FA for this year and get their franchise QB next draft.
Feel like that's a reach on Vaccaro, not looked recently but last time I checked pretty much everyone had nobody at the safety position with a 1st round grade, I agree it seems they're likely to get a WR in FA and if they keep Hartline they don't need to spend their 1st on a receiver and in your draft they're probably not finding they're replacement for Jake Long (could move Jonathan Martin over and get Fluker in at RT).
Also tough to think Bucs have the choice of all but 2 DBs and go OLB/DE.

Re: GSC's daily mock draft
Jones got cleared fully medically.
Mayock loves Vaccaro.
I think this FA class and Draft class is loaded with Tackle prospects. Jake Long really hasnt played well the last 2 years.
Bucs need a pass rush period. Seattle have shown a blueprint to implement these tweener type pass rushers in Clemons and Irvin.
Reid loves building his lines. Brandon Albert is a FA, and isn't a good pass blocker anyway.

Re: GSC's daily mock draft
Wasn't Marcus McNeill cleared? And he's retired after 6 seasons, forgive me for being worried about my team spending on a 1st on somebody with injury history, especially when it's going to be the first pick by the new front office.GSC wrote:Jones got cleared fully medically.

Mayock may do but still saying last time I checked most people had the top safety prospects in the second round.
Still think Bucs need CBs, they needed one last year and everyone had them taking Claiborne if he was at their pick, what have they done since then? Trade away Talib and move Barber to safety.

Re: GSC's daily mock draft
If in doubt, trust the board. Too high for any CB not named Milliner. With no trades, and D'Quan deciding to take a gun to an airport, the Bucs need pass rush also.
All you can do is trust the medical advice. If he's cleared, he's cleared.
Vaccaro's coming up on peoples radars

Re: GSC's daily mock draft
How much would recent health/combine issues affect some of the early picks you've got in this mock?

I'd be fairly confident Star will slide.
2 most important parts of the combine are interviews and medicals and we dont see 1 of them

Re: GSC's daily mock draft
Well Star should slide, we know Milliner will be having shoulder surgery, Moore is having a poor day when most others aren't. So that's 3 of your top 5 with potential to slide.

Re: GSC's daily mock draft
I don't place much stock in combine workouts. However many years and games on tape and people judge a prospect based on fast he runs 40 yards in shorts
